    For Spin:

For a moment, I sat on my bed just staring down at the heap of tween at my feet. I couldn’t comprehend what had just gone on. But then I realized something. My brother was the ruler of an underground world, and my girlfriend was a superhero. If I thought Ethan landing himself in jail in front of me was strange, then I had some serious perception issues.

It just...it fits it all so nicely and sums it all up right then and there. tehe

"If you’ve ever watched a candle burn, you’ll know how slowly the wax drips, sliding like heavy lava, burning all in it’s path. Because you never know how life begins or ends. You can only guess. You don’t ever think of your best fiend or the love of your life dieing. The wax drips down and burns those you love, and you never say goodbye."

I wrote that for one story and took it out to put in another story where it fit better. I dunno why but I adore how it flows. It's actually talking about something else than what would be implied from it....

"The cascade of cold morning air and shocking reality crashed upon me with the vengence of a scorned lover."

    ~What They See

I adore the entire chapter that that particular line came out of. It was a gorgeously done chapter personally.

From As Simple as Growing Wings:

"He was afraid that Abel was the perfect reflection in the clear, still water, while he, Lucas, was the blemish, the thrown pebble that would cause it to rupture."

I like a lot of lines from this story in general, mostly because of the choice of words, so that is probably not my favorite ever. But as for emphasizing the differences between angels and humans, especially when it comes to being so perfect it's unreal, I thought this was a good way of putting it.

I don't know that it's my favourite ever but it's the best I've written in a while, and every time I reread it it makes me chuckle a little because it's just so Ziva

"Despite the stupid things I had already done, I had no intention of doing anything stupid again for a long time. Unless Tony annoyed me enough, in which case I might throw my stapler at him and that would not exactly be sensible."

    I have a few.

    From Cross My Heart:
"Me and you...we're like peanut butter and jam. We work so perfectly together. If anything EVER destroyed the awesomeness that is PB and J, it would not be the same. PB, being me, is okay on his own, but with J, being you, PB is just so much better with J. J completes PB."

From The Blood Crown: "But what's the fun in revenge if I can't spill a little blood?

    I have Three...

From 'Letter From A Demon's Child:'
    "Dear mother,
How should I feel? I think I’m talking to some person That really is not real. Not here, Not there, Why can’t I find it anywhere? If blood is thicker than water, Then why do I feel so alone? Forever yours until I’m dead, These words I wrote, Please leave unsaid."

From 'Never Made It Out Alive:'
"I'm so sick of people telling me I can't"

And this is from a story I still haven't finished:
"We wear scars like Sunday clothes. Can you imagine going up to someone and saying, ""Hey, look at this cool scar I have!"" and all you have is this tattoo that says 'MOM'?"

I don't know if this is my favorite, but I really like it.

"An unreasonably large amount of satisfaction flowed through me when I heard him laugh."

I don't know. It's not even that good. I just like it.

    From There For You.

He was so much more than she thought he’d ever be – he’d done more for her than she’d ever asked of him, and she loved him with every single inch of her being. She cherished the quickest little brushes of skin and the faint memory of what once was. She pretended, though, for his sake. She pretended that she didn’t remember, nor care, about the past…because he was happy now. He was happier without her than she’d ever seen him, so she took care of him, nurtured him, coddled him, and tried her hardest to love him the best that she could without breaking her own heart.

    And from Her Reality.

But in the real world, there is loneliness. The kind that sneaks into your body and makes you feel weak and hopeless. It fucking tangles itself around your heart and squeezes it so fucking tightly that you just don't want it anymore, so you rip it out and give it to the only person you feel like you can trust with it.

Both are just so meaningful and I can't get over the fact that I actually wrote something that good. Cry

I'll never be able to pick my favorite line ever,
but this is my most recently-written favorite line:

i stared at it, sitting on the counter
    frozen and cold and dead
    like my hands.
    mocked me mercilessly
    gobble gobble gobble

    finally i threw that shit
    out the window.
    i thought birds
    could fly
    ?

They drag each other down the stairs, skinny adolescent lungs aflame with the sting of rebellion and excitement. Laughing silently, they flick on the basement television and pinky-swear to satellite static. "I'll always mean something to you, right?"

I haven't posted this yet, but I just wrote it while working on my plot line for Monsters.

"I think," he said finally, remembering the religious texts that he'd read when he was a teenager, "that Harry Potter had a better plot as far as magical fiction goes. And, if god and I got into a pissing match, I'd win..."
Still my favorite line, ever. I wrote it who knows how long ago and I'm still obsessed. Hopefully, I can use it soon File

It’s been years since William stormed out of Mike’s house and Mike swore he’d never even look at the asshole again, let alone talk to him, if he could help it. It’s been years, and Mike’s spent so long hating Bill he’s exhausted with it, can barely remember why he was so angry in the first place. It’s all so hazy, the memories blurry and faded around the edges, and the only concrete, constant thing Mike has left is the anger, burning fierce and furious at the very heart of him.

This is like a bandom joke that worked well in the sentence.

So for three years Ryan danced back and forth between the friends(or enemies)-with-benefits relationship and sleeping with guys at least ten years older than him at parties.
