Always has been Susan "Stargirl" Calloway from Stargirl. She's labeled an outcast to most people, but she's like an awesome desert hippie chick to me :P ever since I had to read it for English, it's been my favorite book. I don't know, she's just interesting to read and the story line itself is pretty cute but sad. Kind of gives you the feeling of not being alone in being misunderstood for your ways of thinking. It's okay to be unique and different.

    Katniss Everdeen.
Alice Cullen, I'll admit it, she's pretty cool.

Gotrek and Snorri Nosebiter from the Gotrek and Felix series by, well actually three different authors. I like Gotrek because he's sarcastic, smart, and an awesome fighter. I like Snorri because he's such a sweet characters. He's a bit of a simpleton and has a very bad memory but he's a big help in a fight. Bad thing is that Snorri is no longer in the book.

I don't think I can have an ultimate favorite. But at the moment, I think I'll say my top three would be:
Adrian Ivashkov, Vampire Academy series and Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead
Augustus Waters, The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
Varen Netters, Nevermore and Enshadowed by Kelly Creagh
Each of them has so much more to them than what it seems and I love that about both of them.

I choose Elizabeth Bennet from Pride & Prejudice because we're pretty much the same person. We both have biting sarcasm, are picky with men, love to read, take walks, and daydream, and we are annoyed/poke fun of people who are just a little absurd...

Sam Vimes from the Discworld novels. Especially in Night Watch.
Speaking of Discworld, Vetinari is also brilliant.
