Same here! Finally, I don't feel so odd now that some one else out there has the same problem as me :)
- omegalomaniac.:
- My tone can be affected by what I'm reading.
When I've read a lot of Fitzgerald, especially, I can hear his voice in my own writing.
Mostly in drabbles, private journal entries. Things I can write in one sitting.
Same thing happened when I was reading Charlie Chaplin's autobiography.
Same with me, I tend to get affected even by fanfiction when I read a good one. Like, I read one written in present tense, and then I feel the urge to write in present tense, and so on.

Same here. Present tense, moment in time, and unresolved endings.

Same. I think it's cause I secretly want my hair to be darker.
- Carpe diem::
- My main characters usually have dark hair and minor characters have lighter hair.
