Hi! I need a beta for an upcoming story of mine - the first chapter is almost done and up, and I'd like for someone to edit it for me before I post....actually I'd kinda like a 'standby' beta; someone I could easily contact for this kind of thing throughout the whole book, if that's not much to ask....

Rating - (R) due to cursing and probable graphic content
Type - Original Fiction

It's a story about a girl and a summer on the road.

I mainly just want for someone to point out the usual errors; grammar, story flow, any possible gaps I might have overlooked while writing.

My story, Late Dawns and Early Sunsets, needs a beta. I already have one, in the form of the lovely Fandango, but she's doing exams this year and I don't want to pressure her.

My entries have very little grammatical mistakes and no spelling mistakes whatsoever, I just need someone who can spot sentences that could be worded better or replace descriptive words. Someone with experience as a beta would be ideal.

Here is the story, and if you end up becoming my beta, you can either read the entire story to understand the plot or I could give you a bullet-point summary.

Genre - Drama, Sci-fi, Romance
Rating - NC17, due to sexual content that has already happened. Also, strong language and homophobic comments are used occasionally.
Type - Fan Fiction, primarily My Chemical Romance, but there are also members of Paramore, 30 Seconds to Mars, You Me At Six, VersaEmerge and solo artists in the story. You don't have to be a fan of any of the aforementioned artists to be my beta, it's probably better if you aren't because then you won't be biased if I try to make certain characters villains or kill them off the storyline.

I'm working on sending in manuscripts to publishers, but I always make stupid little grammatical errors or spelling mistakes I don't even pick up on even when I re-read it... so, that is obviously not good at all.

I'm working on a new novel, its about teenagers with super powers. Sounds cliche, I know, but I honestly have a lot of faith in it. The ideas I have and the way I write could really make it stand out... if there were less mistakes. So far, I'm working on the first chapter, and it's just not flowing right... So, I was wondering if anyone wants to read it, and give me some constructive criticism? I know it needs work, I'm just so stuck.

Okay, I know I asked for editors a lot of times (actually three times) and I have to ask for one again. The current editor that I have is not being active and I really need the piece that I'm working on proofread and edited. I'm not really good with grammar since English is not my first language. I am also not quite adept at characterization and stuff like that.

Hello. I am looking for a beta reader for my Supernatural (Destiel) stories and wondered if anybody would be interested. There are three things I am currently working on:

1. Heart Somewhere Over the West Coast which is going to end up being six chapter long. It is more of a fluffy, not really heavy on the plot side type of story. Dean is going to California for Jessica and Sam's wedding and he meets Castiel—unbeknownst to him at the time—who Sam went to college with. There are three planned scenes with sexual content. The first two are pretty mellow scenes and the last one involves Castiel and Dean having sex on a plane on the way back to New York.
2. Something New which is going to be a continuous 'verse. All the additions are going to be able to be read as stand alone stories. This really isn't anything more then pervy, kinky sex at any point and time I feel the mood hits.
3. Whisper is the big story. It is a college AU where both Castiel and Dean attend Kansas University in Lawrence. Castiel has OCD. I have planned a pretty good portion of this story out, I know exactly how it is going to end and a lot of what is going to happen in the middle but I am not quite sure how long it is going to be. I'm pretty sure it is going to a lengthy one.

These are all WIPs. I have the first chapter written for both West Coast and Whisper and am currently working on their second chapters and a timestamp for Whisper. I have also started the first installment of Something New and have many more planned in the series. Like I said these are all work in progress but I figured I'd get a jump-start on trying to find a beta for any or all them.

So I'm writing this 500-600 words assignment for my English class, I don't know if this is 'legal' here, but I hope it is!
I need an English person (no offence all you others) to spell and grammar check my assignment when I'm done.
The only reason why I need an English person, is because I'd be told so much sh*t by my teacher if I get it wrong, but well of course if you're an American, Canadian and so on but you DO KNOW the rules for English spelling and grammar, I'll accept that as well, I just really need it to be checked in a right way :)

I would like to request a beta reader for my new story, if possible. It's called Dickless Prick and it is a semi-autobiographical loosely-grouped set of anecdotes. It is a fairly full-on piece of work- I have sworn a lot, there are many dark/crude images and I've been very honest with parts of my life that I wouldn't normally disclose. As I write when I'm angry, I would very much appreciate it if someone would be able to look over this for errors and help me to watch my syntax.

I have a story that I have started working on for my creative writing class and well my teacher is not being helpful at all and he hardly ever gives my class time to let others read each others work. Anyways, I am having fun writing this story and I would like to get some feedback on it as well as getting it checked out for grammar and spelling and whatnot,be cause I am awful at it.

It's rather lengthy, like 3,000 words and I also have a prologue which is less that 500 words.
