I don't see why you should shove your opinion in someone else's face if they don't like your favorite band or you don't like theirs. Every person you meet in your life will have different taste and there's no right or wrong taste of music. You like what you like and that's that. Not everyone will agree with it.
However, that doesn't give you the right to shove your taste and hate into someone's face just because you disagree with what they listen to.

Twilight. Really, it's overrated. Even though I have written (and am in the process of writing) Twilight fanfics, I honestly don't care for it anymore because people are always talking about it. It's like an over-played song... and that's a lot coming from someone who doesn't get tired of something easily. The movies suck, the books are pretty good. Let's just leave it at that.

American Idol. I really don't see why people hate it. Yes, it has gotten worse since the first season, but it's helping aspiring musicians get to their dream... what's so bad about that? (Besides the fact that you have to make things "family-friendly"... which is something I wouldn't be able to do.) So it's okay, not horrible.

Justin Bieber. He's not completely ear-bleeding bad (if you have heard my mother or sister sing you would agree with me), but he's not the greatest either. Sure, he's kinda cute, but not orgasm-looking-hot. Stop talking about him, please, because you're probably going to say the same thing we've all heard before, and that's just boring.

Glee. Personally, I've never really watched the show, but if it was as horrible as some people claim it is, then it wouldn't be so popular, simple as that.

Personally I wish people would stop hating on people who don't like Justin Bieber. It's not a crime, it's an opinion and "I hate JB" has the right to be expressed just as much as "I love JB".
