The current state that the English language is in. It's quite annoying hearing older generations complaining about the way our generation speaks, and text language, etc. etc. and how they think we should preserve "proper" English; go back to the "old ways". Unfortunately for them, there have been as many "old ways" as there have been monarchs. Language is changing all the time, it's not like there has always been "proper English" and then the 90s went and wrecked it. It's changed with pretty much each century.

And on a similar vein, technology. I hear quotes like "in our day we managed without a mobile phone/the internet/a TV every day" quite a lot. People also used to manage without electricity altogether, does that mean electricity's automatically a bad thing?

Religion.

Ninety-five percent of the time I won't agree with your views, but I'm also tired of people giving and receiving hate for their beliefs.

Any person's sexuality, for sure.

Their parents. Your parents are human too, they are going to mess up, and they're going to make a few mistakes raising you, it's expected. Unless your parents legitimately mistreat you, be thankful and don't be so critical about them.

I wish people would stop hating on each other. I wish people would stop being judgmental, and rude, and immature. I just wish people would be more -- no, be respectful.

Atheists. I come across a lot of generalisations about them, how they're automatically very scientifically-minded just because they don't believe in a god, how they're less charitable, more likely to do bad things, etc. Not only are those completely daft generalisations in the first place, but also they seem to be taking examples from a handful of 'militant' atheists that don't represent the rest of them. What about the atheists who have no problem with other opinions (of which I know of a hell of a lot)? What about the atheists who never even talk about it, but simply live their lives happening to not believe in a god? Of course there is discrimination against religious people, and that's not okay at all, but it works both ways.

God, how can anyone even bother spending that much energy on hating something that "shouldn't" bother you?
