Writing Resolutions

I want to write a little bit every day. Even if it's just a word or a sentance here and there, I want to write more often and get some stuff finished.

I want to stop leaving a trail of double posts wherever I go too

I want to finish OE, or write more of it.
Write more one-shots.
Extend my genres/style.

1) I want to finish something other than a short story, or one-shot.
2) I want to continually progress.
3) I want to write different main characters, my main characters always seem to be the same for every story.

I want to write a kid!fic and a well-conceived crack!fic.

I want to finish at least one story this years and work more on my fantasy fics.

1. I want to write that adorable love story that's supposed to warm people up and make people laugh. I'm too used to writing depressing things - It's so hard for me. Happy fics, really.
2. I want to write a fic focusing on kids and some sort of adventure.
3. I want to use more characters - the ones I've abandoned.
4. Robot fic. Want. So much. But I have no plot.

I want to finish all of the three active stories I have right now.
I also want to improve my smut writing, which I'll work on using One Direction as my inspiration

I'd also like to aim for longer chapters, instead of aiming for 1.5k, perhaps have an average of 2-3k in each chapter.

I want to get to the point where, if at any given time, I want to work on a certain piece, I'll be able to work on it right then instead of always having to push it to the side because I need to work on prior commitments such as contest entries or group stories.

Wow. My last post was 2 years ago and I failed almost all of those resolutions pretty hard.

Right now, I'd just like to finish some stories and get more stuff posted. Specifically, I want to revive Broken Bird because I vowed to never have dead fic on any online account.

I just want to write more and more often.

One of my resolutions for the new year is to pick one major project to devote my time and energy into instead of working on fifty-six gazillions different things at the same time.

I want to finish all of the three active stories I have right now.

So, it turns out I did not fulfil any of these. Oh wait, except one. I finished one active story

A new resolution I hope to aim for this year is to finish another active story of mine (WTWTU) and figure out a plot for another one of my stories so I can at work on two stories at once or write that one when my other one finishes.

I wanna finish three stories this year. I have to finish three stories.

Anyway, my goal that I am going to keep as realistic as possible is that I'd like to get The Impossible Children updated more often this year. I'd love to have that one finished by the end of next year, if possible (I don't even dare to dream it will be finished by the end of this one, although that'd be nice. lol)

Also, I want to post more of my other fic, which I've already been doing, so good. I just wanna keep doing that.

I'm going to finish a story this year. None of this crappy pish, either. I'm going to sit and finish a story and flesh it out as much as possible so that I'm actually proud of it when it's finished.

No idea what story it'll be. I just wanna finish one.
