^ Oh man, I remember being at that point. Arms

I'm 37 weeks and two days right now. I just made my birth plan with my midwife. The not knowing when it's going to happen is so killing me. I'd be alright if I just had to wait for a particular day. :P

^ I love the name Ryder. :] Are you going to find out the sex, when you can?

I'll see if I get a nice one. I'll probably put something on my profile so I'll post that here too. :]

I lived off ginger biscuits. Seriously, they worked wonders. I was walking two of my friends kids to school every morning and I always took a bunch so that I could munch on them along the way. Dry toast is good to eat as well, I always find that settles my tummy a bit. Also, keep hydrated because being sick makes you lose fluid. Try to drink lots of water. Try not to stress out about it too much. Morning sickness is really normal and if you have a ridiculous amount or find it hard to keep anything down, just go see your midwife/doctor.

I never got cravings. The only craving I've had is oranges and orange juice, which is because I'm anaemic (oranges help you absorb iron). That started in the winter, at the same time as my gestational anaemia.

i'm not sure...i kind of want it to be a surprise(: i'll get neutral clothes and such, and set aside some money for more based on sex once the baby is actually born. pick out a name for both genders. but then again, i don't know if i'll be able to wait that long haha(:

ginger biscuits? those sound incredible...and okay sounds good(: im drinking a lot of water, like probably five bottles worth (of tap water) and also quite a bit of decaf green tea. yummm.

    you never got cravings?! sweeeet!

and i cant wait to see those pics!

Haha, yeah. I was the same but my mum really wanted to know and I kind of wanted to share it with everyone. It made things easier for my family, too, because it gave them an idea of a person to attach to rather than just an unknown fetus. :P

Yeah, they worked really well for me. Luckily my morning sickness wasn't that bad (I was only sick twice, just had a lot of nausea). Just so you know, though, you don't actually have to eat loads and loads when you're pregnant/being sick. Just eat when you're hungry and try to have enough healthy stuff. 'Eating for two' is a myth, as well.

do you think i should take a prenatal vitamin?

^ Yeah, a lot of women put on a lot of weight because they think they need to gorge themselves but it's not actually true. Being pregnant and having a healthy baby isn't synonymous with becoming overweight. (Obviously it's also not a time to diet/watch your weight but just to be a bit chilled, eat a balanced diet and avoid the foods that can be bad for the baby.)

I never did. You can take vitamins if you want to or if you feel like you need to (e.g. if you're particularly tired for no apparent reason). Then they can be good but they're not really necessary, just a personal preference. I didn't take them because I didn't want to load up on pills all the time but I eat a very balanced diet anyway. It is recommended to take folic acid for at least the first trimester, though.

It's always a good idea to discuss that kind of thing with your midwife/doctor as well. They'll be able to give you all the information so you can make an informed decision on it.
