New new Mibba

Here we go again...

We changed the layout of the site again. It's a lot simpler now and it should be easier to use. I'll list the most important changes:

Mobile Mibba
Mibba now looks pretty cool on mobile devices. A lot of you are using your iPods and phones to access Mibba and this update will make your life easier . The only thing that doesn't work on mobile version are custom layouts cause they're not optimized for mobile devices.

Navigation
The main navigation stays the same even when you're reading stories / poems / blogs.

The layout maker
It's the same, but now it works in all browsers, including Internet Explorer.

Saved searches
You can now save your search and receive updates for stories related to your search.

Stories, poems, articles, blogs
Everything you've read is marked just like topics on the message board.

Recommendations
You can see recommendations for each story, article, poem and blog.

You can expect a lot of cool updates in the new few days / weeks. The layout will stay the same, I promise

I like it. The creepy girl on the homepage is gone. :D

Why is it so wide?

STOP MESSING AROUND WITH MIBBA!!! It's freaking me the fuck out o.o I was just getting friendly with the old new mibba the kinks had been smoothed over... It was good... No more changes pleeeeease....

Can you tone down the brightness? Perhaps use a different color scheme? It's just too bright =( and wide. I use an ad blocker, so my page looks goofy with that huge empty space to the side. And what are these coming changes?

I like the updates itself (especially being able to save your searches), and I'm happy that the navigation overall is still the same. But in my opinion, the site layout really bothers me. It kind of reminds me of a hospital room, too white and pure. It needs a splash of colour at the very least.
That's basically the only problem I personally have though. These future updates intrigue me.

This is actually pretty cool! But I agree with what one of the previous folks who posted said, why is it so wide? It seems a bit odd now like that. Not entirely bad, just odd.

I do love that I can see who recommended stories now. And how many comments are on a blog.

Yay for no more layout changes! It looks nice, though, a bit white but nothing I can't get used to. :)

I have many complaints about this update. I really dislike that because my screen is really wide, I have blue strips down the sides, which causes the little comments bar on stories, poems, blogs, etc., to be unaligned. It kind of floats off to the right, and there's this big white space where it obviously should be. I also don't like that with the blue strips down the sides, the custom layouts on most things posted here aren't full screen anymore, so I can't get the full experience with it. It's just... Not right. A story layout almost always makes or breaks a story. It sets the tone, so you know what you're in for. When I can't view it as a whole, it's upsetting! I really like everything else, and a smaller screen makes the new, New Mibba really pretty and perfect. It's just that... It's so wonky on my computer.

Okay so im writing this from my phone, and i just wanted to say that I'm so thankful that there's finally a mobile version! Obviously some adjustments will have to be made because its not perfect, but its a start and that's what counts. I just wanted to say thank you for working so hard on making mibba an awesome place...(and I'm really glad the picture of that chick is gone LOL)

I like it. It's easier on the eyes, though I did like seeing a little splash of color on the various links and buttons on New Mibba. But New new Mibba is pretty cool too.

I am loving this new layout! Thank you so much. It is definitely better on my iPod now.

This new color scheme actually hurts my eyes, so it's not easier on the eyes. Perhaps some people can handle it, but I can't (nor can I handle bright light). There should be a better, less bright color scheme available, right? I know I prefer black for starters...but something that's not white and sterile and bright.

Mibba's Mibba, it's awesome no matter what. :3

The mobile site does not display well on the PSVita. All the icons are clumped together in a small square and cut off so that they are unrecognizable.

I didn't think the original mibba needed much change. And the second change was alright. I didn't like it particularly, but it still spoke "Mibba" to me. This new one, makes the site look very boring. In my opinion. It's like a blue version of "Wattpad" to me. I miss the cheery welcoming atmosphere Mibba gave me right from opening the page. Now... feels very dull, too simple. I don't feel a friendly community coming to the page.

I'm totally pro mobile site friendly though.

Are you sure you're on the mobile site? Some phones won't go there by default.

I love this new new Mibba. It's gonna take gettting used to just like the old new Mibba, but I'll adjust. It freaked me out at first though. Because I was on Mibba then refreshed the page.

I find navigation of the site much easier now. And it just figures I download Google Chrome to make layouts and you go and fix it so that I could've used Internet Explorer and others. Oh well, what's done is done.

i had grown to like the new layout and now its all changed. everything is too wide and very bland. it looks like a business site. while it is probably simpler, its too spread out everything looks tiny now. how it was before was completely fine. if you were going to change it, could have least given us our old profiles back. its even more bland than it was before! does it really need to be this wide?
