    like jack and sally.:
The only complaint I really have with the new new Mibba is that I don't see a 'prequel' or a 'sequel' button. I don't know if I'm just over looking it (I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the most observant person in the world), or if it really isn't there.
Dujo forgot to put it in, but he will.
    PurplePenguin2009:
The new new Mibba seems ok. I just don't like how story layouts aren't there anymore. That should definitely be fixed.
What do you mean? Layouts don't show up on stories, or the layouts you made are gone, or...? Layouts still work just fine for me.

"I'd say based on all the positive responses, it's going pretty well...."

But there are just as many negative replies as well. Even in some of the positive replies you listed, they still point out flaws.
It's not like I hate the new layout; it has its flaws, sure, but I do like it for the most part. It just concerns me how you seem to be disregarding the negative feedback with your statement.

    @ november rain;
I have an ad blocker and it looks ... kinda crappy. There's just a huge white block and it looks... not great.

Agreed, hah. I disabled my ad blocker because the blank spaces were seriously irritating, and strangely, I think Mibba looks better with the ads there... but the ads get really annoying on other sites sometimes so I ended up disabling it anyway. I think I'd feel a lot better about it if the ads were narrow and long instead.

And that's fine. But this site is now best for phones (and there may be two different websites now, but they are identical to me) and that's not good for computer people. I don't use Mibba on my phone so I don't want a mobile site on my computer. Just put it back to Mibba before all the changes and we'll get along just fine. Clearly, with all the negative responses in this thread, this change isn't working.
That is your opinion, it seems you're still trying to speak for the majority of Mibba.

The only major complaint I have is that this site loads EXTREMELY slow on my browser now. It's quite jerky as well too. Is anyone else experiencing this too, or just me?

I'm not having problems with it loading slow, but I'm not sure if others are. What browser do you use? I've heard there's a bit of problem with IE so if you have that, it might be it. Not sure about Firefox. I have Google Chrome and it's fine for me.

Ah, then, I'm not sure what it is. XD It might correct itself in time, so I wouldn't worry too much for now, even if it sucks. If it persists I'd ask an admin about it to see if there's something that could be done to fix it.

It may help if you clear your internet/browser history and then try again - a bit of a refresher.

I'm using Chrome as well. Mibba was working slowly for me then, but it's quick as ever now.

this is cool and shit. i like it better than the old new one.
but fix the inbox message thing.
    -.-
i can't seem to highlight anything in a message, without the page automatically highlighting SOMETHING ELSE entirely, or not highlighting the whole thing. (by highlight i mean, click and drag across a few words with the pointer). And I don't really enjoy the "More Info" bar either that pops up when you highlight.

What's your issue? I can highlight messages/anywhere else on the site fine, and I don't get a "more info" bar? What browser are you using?

There is nothing on Mibba that would pop up "more info" and nothing on the site to prevent highlighting. If you're getting a popup when highlighting, you may have a virus.

Yes! I've thought this all along. Those of us who are vocal about not liking are told we don't matter or "there aren't that many who don't like it" when there are a LOT of us who don't like this new stuff.

And I am vocal about my opinion. I'm not speaking for the whole of Mibba, but rather those of us (who are not such a minority as we're lead to believe) who are being ignored because we don't like the new Mibba in any form.

Will there ever be a layout option or design mode to make mibba look like the way you want it to?
I'm aware that some sites do this, I just really really want the other layout back, ever since I got on last night I've been so irritated. I loved the new change, but this change was for the worst. Will there be a poll of some sort for us to choose maybe, if you can only choose one?

But I'd really like a setting layout change. This would look great on a phone or whatever but it looks so awkward then before. There's no Banner to welcome people in, as well as the veterans. I'm going to be open minded, and wait for new changes but otherwise, it's a sore eye.

Looks just like all the other writing sites, doesn't stand out like it use to. Why couldn't they keep it as to how it was a few days ago?

I agree with everything @Aightball has said. Way too wide and bright. It's very unattractive and is very off putting.

No, it would be impossible to have both layouts optional as there is stuff that only works in the latest version. Dujo is constantly updating the site, so there will be more small changes but this layout is the only one available. If we used both, there'd need to be two different sites and it'd be completely impractical.

i agree! there should be a layout option. this has been changed to suit mobile phones! the mobile version looks good on phones, but the full version looks stupid on computers. it was so much nicer before.

So despite the complaints that it's too wide, bright, and hard on the eyes, this layout is sticking around? That's ridiculous. I know we can't all have our way, but EVERYONE is complaining about this new layout. Let's go back to the blue and orange. That was a good color scheme and people seemed to like it. I certainly didn't see all the complaints that I'm seeing now about it.

The site wasn't changed to suit mobile phones; it was changed to suit complaints about the old layout + Dujo's idea of what the site should be. The original mobile site looked like Old New Mibba, but when Dujo decided to change the site layout, he changed the mobile version to match.
