    (Sure~)

When school ended, Jon gave a sigh as he made his way to his locker. He frowned, though, upon seeing Mikey and a few other people that he had known during childhood there. Furrowing his brows, he asked, "What the hell does everybody want?" Mikey rolled his eyes slightly before leaning back against the lockers. "You forgot Marley. Everybody else remembers her. We even have pictures of when we were all kids," he explained, though Jon didn't seem convinced.

Claire gave an annoyed sigh as she walked out of the school, not even bothering to go to her locker. Her mother was waiting for her in the car and she climbed in. "We'll go home and everybody can get changed," her mother said as soon as she got in, "Then, we'll head to their house and spend time with them for a while until dinner." Claire was annoyed with it all.

Marley hid around the corner from Jon's locker, situated in a place that Mikey had told her to go. From this place, Marley could clearly see Jon's locker and the group that had formed around them. All of her best friends from back then... The ones that had never been as close to her as he had, but still had been sentimentally friendly. Hell, they remembered her more than Jon did! She smiled to herself as Jon arrived at the locker. Their words were true and she hoped that they could convince him...

Ethan got home earlier after skipping out from the last half hour of his school day. He just couldn't sit there any longer with all of the confusion... He found his mom cleaning the house crazily. The house was all spotless but she seemed to still be worried about whoever this was that was coming over. "So who is this that's coming over he asked her, getting a snappy: "Come on! Didn't you see Claire at school?"

Jon frowned before crossing his arms over his chest. "Did she brainwash all of you or something?" he asked, his tone showing how annoyed he was. Mikey rolled his eyes slightly. "Do you even know why you hate me so much?" he asked, arching an eyebrow, "It's because you hated that Marley was friends with me as well. We weren't nearly as close as you two were and I remembered her, when you didn't. You two were best friends and you forgot her!" Jon frowned at his words, unsure now of if it was true or not.

Claire gave a sigh once they got home. "Go get changed," her mother told her as the two made their way inside. Sighing again, Claire made her way to her room, frowning to herself as she closed and locked the door. Deciding not to put much effort in her clothes, she simply pulled out a pair of shorts and a shirt - the sleeves of the shirt hung at her shoulders. She quickly changed and pulled her hair into a ponytail before making her way downstairs, where her parents were waiting.

Marley bit her lip as Jon started accusing her of such trickery as brainwashing. She felt like crying when her newest best friend - since her old one hadn't remembered her - stuck up for her. It wasn't even that she was really upset about the whole thing, for she was quite numb by now, but she listened to Mikey's words and they resonated so deeply. Jon had hated Mikey based on the fact that he no longer was the only boy in Marley's life. How had he changed so much from being that guy to the one that didn't remember her?!

Ethan was utterly surprised when his mother said Claire's name. God, was she following him or something?! It was utter madness... And now she was going to come into his house, eat at his table. Did no one else see anything wrong with the girl that pretended she knew him? He sure saw it; she might just need a trip to loony-town for that one... He sighed a little and shook his head, unable to voice the way that he thought about her to his mom. She didn't seem to understand his annoyance. He sighed a little as he watched the clock tick on...

Jon sighed before shaking his head slightly. "You're crazy," he said simply, refusing to allow himself to believe something so insane. Another person decided to speak, Julia Hanson, as she frowned at Jon's words. "You're the crazy one, Jon," she said defiantly, crossing her arms over her chest, "I didn't even know Marley that well - I had only moved here a few months before she left - but even I remember her and how close you two were!"

Claire sighed as she followed her parents to the car, climbing in the back. They were soon on their way to Jon's house and she was regretting the entire day more and more with each house that passed. Soon pulling into the driveway at the house, her father turned the car off and hopped out of the car with her mother. Claire stayed inside the car for a few moments before climbing out as well and following them to the door, watching her mother knock on it.

Marley smiled at the way that Julia spoke of her. She didn't know much about her since they had only started to like each other when she moved away. Julia had been overly-friendly with Jon at first, so they had a bumpy start. As soon as she found out that Julia didn't mean her any harm, they became friends. Julia had actually thought that Jon had feelings for Marley - more than friendly ones - but she had never thought about it. It was obviously wrong anyways... He couldn't remember her.

Ethan heard the car pulling into the driveway and he grew even more nervous. He wasn't even nervous about meeting this girl - he never had been - but he was anxious if this was the same Claire. He peered out the window and saw the girl in the back of the car getting out. Yup, same girl. "Fuck my life!" He murmured as his mother went to open the door.

Jon frowned at everything he was hearing. Was there any point in listening to any of this? He wasn't quite sure. He should have just walked away in the very beginning, but this entire thing was just getting him all the more curious. Surely, they couldn't have come up with all this crazy talk within just a few class periods, right? He didn't know. Sighing, he shook his head. "Why should I believe any of this?" he asked, to which everybody yelled at him, "Because it's true!"

Claire sighed as she watched her mom immediately hug the other woman and the two women started gossiping about old times, along with catching up to each other's lives. She looked up at her father, noticing that he felt just as awkward as she did. Sighing, she crossed her arms over her chest and shook her head, hoping Ethan wouldn't start calling her a crazy bitch again.

Marley couldn't listen to him deny it anymore. It hurt her and she hated him for it. Tears were starting to run down her face; she knew her mascara was staining her face, but she didn't care. She walked out into the hallway where she could be seen. She knew this would catch his eye - she had held her composure in class but this was different. "How can you not remember me?!" She yelled at him. "I've known you since I was born! I spent the first twelve years of my life with you and the next six lo- err, wishing I were still here and friends with you..."

Ethan walked out into the foyer cautiously. He held back his grimace as he leaned against the threshold in the doorway. What the fuck?! He wasn't exactly sure how this crazy bitch had somehow happened to get into his house: nor could be figure out how his mom was letting this happen! "Say hello!" His mother demanded. "Hey," he said carefully, thinking bad things but avoiding saying anything to get himself in trouble.

Jon blinked a few times at hearing her yelling at him. It was the last thing he expected, to be honest. Frowning, he gave a sigh as,he ran his hand through his hair. Even he had a heart and disliked seeing girls cry; it was usually why he only had minor flings with girls. But, her tears were getting to him. "Show me actual proof," he requested simply, though calmly. He wasn't sure what that proof could be, but he honestly just needed it; otherwise, he would continue thinking everybody was crazy.

Claire frowned slightly when she received a glare from her mother. "Claire, greet him," her mother said in a warning tone. Claire rolled her eyes slightly. "Why should I?" she asked before gesturing to Ethan, "He doesn't even remember me! He even called me a crazy bitch! Why should I greet a jerk like that?" She crossed her arms over her chest before narrowing her eyes at Ethan. "I didn't even want to come to this house. He's not my best friend - not the one that I grew up with. He's completely different." She didn't even care that she was speaking her mind.

Marley expected a completely caring Jon. That was how he had been doing so far! Why expect anything different now? He had always been so caring and today he had been completely desensitized to her... She didn't expect anything different now, but she saw the way that his eyes slightly softened. She knew she was finally getting to him and it made him feel better. "I... I have some!" She answered his demands. "Just not here. It's at my house..."

Ethan rolled his eyes as Claire just stood there. It was just crazy that she was still standing here that he almost didn't believe it. He hated her all the more. "Okay, bitch!" He finally fought back after trying to be mostly friendly. "Yeah, I agree with her! I have no fucking idea who this girl is!" He got a glare from his mother. "What?! Why the hell is she even in this house?! Get this stalker bitch out of here!" He wasn't usually the raging type, but there was something about this girl that upset him.

Jon gave a heavy sigh before running a hand through his hair. "Bring it tomorrow or something," he muttered. He wasn't really sure about suggesting going to her house, since, for all he knew, she could still be crazy and that proof could just be something to lure him there, anyways. He gave a sight shrug before adjusting his backpack on his shoulder. "What kind of proof is it, anyways?" He couldn't help but to be curious; who could blame him, though? The entire day had just been weird, in his opinion.

Claire felt everything in her shatter and it showed on her expression. After a few moments, she muttered a quiet, "Fine." She didn't bother saying anything else before making her way out. She felt miserable, to be honest. She walked past her family's car, deciding to walk home. There was no reason to drag her parents into the mess, so she didn't mind that they would probably stay, despite the drama. She just wanted to leave the town again.

Marley sighed. She almost wished he would trust her enough to let her being him home and show the proof to him today. They had always been so close that it bothered her that he was so hesitant to even talk to her - nonetheless go to her house. She was used to the way that he used to beg to hang out... Now it just seemed that he wanted to get away... "I have pictures! ... And a bunch of notes that I tried to write while I was gone, but couldn't because it made me miss you..." God, that sounded stupid.

Ethan watched her walk out of the house. He felt the slightest bit of remorse, but he was mostly aware of the relief that came from knowing that she was willing to leave him alone. "Good riddance!" He called, but he got an awful glare from his mother and looked down with a frown. "Ethan Michael Barrett! You go apologize to her at once!" His mother exclaimed, and then she was pushing him out the door after her.

Jon nodded slowly to her words, though he was still unsure. He noticed the glares that was receiving from the group by his locker and sighed. "Let's go get house, then," he finally said. The sooner they got this over with, the better, he figured. He would either be proven wrong or right; at this point, he didn't care. He just wanted to know the truth because it was driving him to the brink of insanity. "How far do you live from here? We can take my car." He gave a slight shrug, though he was hesitant on if that was a good idea or not.

Claire crossed her arms over her chest as she walked, biting down on her lower lip to try to force any tears away. She could feel the lump in her throat and tried to gulp it down, but it didn't work. Her eyes burned with tears and they fell as soon as she blinked. Mentally, she was cursing him for forgetting her. Obviously, she hadn't been nearly as important to him as she had thought when they had been younger. Otherwise, he wouldn't have forgotten about her so easily.

Marley's eyes harvested her surprise as he agreed to go to her house. She figured it was kind of final that he didn't want to be anywhere near that personal with her, but apparently she had figured wrong. Sudden butterflies erupted in her stomach as she thought him coming over... It scared her but relieved her. Who knew... Maybe he still wouldn't remember, but at least he would know so that they could progress a relationship... And she would make him remember... "No, it's just a few blocks," she denied him giving her a ride, "I can walk..."

Ethan followed after Claire in the general direction she had gone. He wasn't going to catch up to her just yet, since he didn't want a long awkward time with her, so he walked slowly behind her, though he caught sight of her soon enough. He felt slightly bad about what he had said, but what was he supposed to do? She was crazy for thinking that they were friends before and it ticked him off. He had a reputation in the school and it had never been to be friends with any girls. He finally realized that he had to talk to her at some point though. "Claire!" He mumbled in a whispering yell. He couldn't believe he was really going to talk with his stalker...

Jon nodded slightly to her words. "What's the address, so I can head there?" he asked, leading the way out of the school. He couldn't believe that he was having a somewhat civil conversation with her and even agreed to going to her house, but decided against saying anything about said surprise. That would only make things even more awkward than everything already was.

Claire frowned once she heard Ethan before turning to him, not caring that she was still crying. "What?" she snapped, "I'm leaving you alone. I left your house. What more do you want me to do now?!" She was purely upset and felt like everything in her was broken. She just wanted to forget about him and their past friendship. If all those memories were erased, she wouldn't feel this devastated.

Marley gave him the address to her house without hesitation. She knew this was bound to get awkward, but it also had to be done. So far, he thought she was just some stalker and now she might have the abilities to prove him wrong. She just hoped that he could believe her and wanted to make an effort of be friends with her again... Otherwise she wouldn't know what to do...

Ethan instantly felt remorse as he took in the sight of her tears running down her face. Even if he wasn't exactly the most honorable guy, he knew that making a girl cry wasn't fair and he didn't like it. "I know," he answered with a forced growl as he tried to make himself sound tough still. "But no one is exactly happy with what I said back there, so I'm supposed to apologize." He fell in step with her walk.

Jon made his way to his car after heading the address. He quickly got in and started the ignition, soon getting out of the school parking lot. Thanks to the fact that he was pretty good at remembering where every street and place was in the town, he easily navigated his way there, though he drove slowly. He hoped that she would get there before he would so that he wouldn't have to wait around awkwardly, especially if her parents were home.

Claire frowned at his words, wiping at her eyes furiously. "Just go away," she growled, "You don't want me around, so just leave. You've apologized and there's no reason to bother me when you don't believe me about anything I've said." She crossed her arms over her chest before letting out an annoyed sigh. She just wanted to be left alone. "And, if you really are sorry, then you'll go back to your house and ask your mom to see old photo albums, because they all have proof that I'm not lying."

Marley walked quite faster than usual as she was so excited about how this might work out. She didn't know if he'd believe her yet, but she was going to make him... If it killed her. When she arrived she saw Jon's truck already there and she laughed slightly as he sat there awkwardly in his car. Her heart dropped suddenly when she realized that her parents weren't home and she'd be alone with him, but it didn't matter really. They weren't gonna do anything... She led him inside. "Um..." She said. "They're upstairs... Let me... Let me go get them!" She was extremely nervous.

Ethan groaned in annoyance. Leave it to a girl to make some twisted story that could ruin a guy's reputation and then she'll be the one crying like she's the victim. Absolutely ridiculous. "Fine!" He snapped, happy that he didn't have to spend anymore time with this crazy girl. "And what will I find in these 'photo albums'? Cuz I'm pretty sure no one in there will resemble you!" He walked off and vowed to look through every photo album until he was sure that she wasn't in them.... And then he'd ruin her for it.

Jon gave a sigh as he watched her before he nodded slightly. "Alright," he muttered before glancing around the house a bit, realizing he was in the living room. Feeling rather awkward in the house, he made his way to the couch and sat down. The couch was rather comfortable, in his opinion; not that he'd mention it, since there really wasn't much of a reason to mention it anyways. Running a hand through his hand, he let out a breath, feeling even more awkward as the time passed by.

Claire rolled her eyes as she watched him leave. Mentally, she was mocking him. She hoped that his mother had kept the photo albums of them from when they were younger. That way, he'd feel horrible about calling her a liar and calling her crazy. He was the crazy one for forgetting it all! With that thought in mind, she simply gave a quiet 'hmph' before she continued on her way home, glad that she would just be able to get away from all the stress for a bit.

Marley sighed quietly. She made her way upstairs quickly and found all of the notebooks that they had passed back and forth, writing notes to one another. She also grabbed a photo album from when they were 10, where he was undeniable recognizable. She brought them downstairs and set them on the coffee table in front of him. "Here." She said, trying to hide the sadness and worry from her voice.

Ethan stormed his way back to the house and groaned a little, seeing her little family at the dinner table with her mother - good way to spoil his favorite meal too... He slouched into the dining room and addressed his mother, "ok, mom! Find these damn photo albums that will be a sign that she's a liar!" he said unfairly. He stood there while she scrambled to her room and got the oldest photo album they had - one he hadn't known they had...
