    @ timing.

Well if you've got a smartphone (I think there's an actual website too but it's easier to do it on your phone) there's an app called Lose It! I lost 6 pounds in my first week from using it. Basically, you are given so many calories you can eat and you basically just eat how much it tells you and exercise.

Exercise wise I just follow lots of fitness accounts on twitter that post new exercise ideas and stuff. The tumblr that they mostly come from is: backonpointe.tumblr.com. I've not actually checked it out, but it seems pretty cool from the little exercise things I've saved and tried.

    Name: Gary.

    Age: 19

    Gender: Male.

    Height: 6 foot.

Starting Weght: (Cringe) 17 stone - 238 lbs

    B.M.I.: 32.28 Apparently wayyyy obese! D:

Ultimate Goal Weight: I don't have one, I don't lose weight, EVER. >_<

Five Reasons You Want to Lose Weight:

    1. I weigh absolutely LOADS!
    2. I wanna be sexy. (Obvs)
    3. Although I'm not what someone would call "fat", my weight does really bug me.
    4. I don't wanna die early.
    5. I like to run every night, most runners weigh like half of me, because of this running does cause a LOT of complications (Painful hips, back, legs etc) and I'm not giving running up.

A Fun Fact About Yourself (Non Weightloss Related):
When I was young, I used to think that oil spills in car parks from cars were dead rainbows, I also used to think that this is where skittles came from. >_<

Thanks, it's nice to get a welcome. :)

What sort of exercises do people around here do, and how do you stay motivated?

No problem what so ever! :)

WELL my motivation comes in spells. (Sorry, that's the Southern coming out in me.) I get random times where I'm motivated but I don't stay motivated 24/7.

My day usually starts with me getting up at 5:30 and doing some light exercise before I get in the shower and get ready for school. That exercise usually consists of squats, jumping jacks, wall sits, hip-lift progressions, bridges, etc. in the evenings I usually walk / run for 30 minutes to an hour, whatever I'm feeling. If I stick to that and stay on a diet of about 1300 calories a day I can lose 2 pounds a week.

Oh wow, you do quite a lot of exercises then. :)

I stick to mainly cardio, I weigh enough, don't want more muscle added onto that. =p

After stretches and warm ups (I do wall sits, but that's to keep my knees strong enough to not break when running =p) I'll run on the treadmill, people say running outside is better but the way I personally see it is if I didn't have something FORCING me to go a certain speed, I'd drop off too easy.

I run every single day about 8PM, I eat at 6PM so it gives me 2 hours to get my meal out of the way before my run and I'm currently running at 10.5km/h for about 20 minutes, it's quite a speed I go so it really keeps my heart beat at a high rate for a long time, which should drop me some weight, but obv not...

I could do more, but I'm having enough trouble with pain in my hip joints from just that, and I'm not prepared to burn out and have to miss like 2 weeks of running because I took a stupid risk.

I eat well, I don't follow my calorie intake strictly but I obviously keep an idea on how much I've had each day so as to not go overboard.

When it comes to motivation, I find loud music with a really nice fast beat keeps me going through the worst of my run, nothing else helps really, often I'll manage to zone out and go into autopilot but a lot of the time I realize I've managed to zone out and that brings me riiiiight back into it. >_<

I do do quite a bit of exercise, but weight loss is honestly 80% diet, 20% exercise. So if you are willing to get more strict about your diet and still do your running, you'll lose weight and be able to do more then that! :)

LALALALA I THINK I HAVE PUT THE RIGHT FOOT FORWARD SO FAR THIS WEEK. I'm going to finish today in the green calorie wise. I walked / ran for an hour today, getting off 400 calories. Plus I did 150 squats, 100 jumping jacks, 100 crunches, and various other exercises. I'm very proud of myself today! Cute
