"I'll get the meat," Rennyn replied with a grin. He thought it was the obvious choice between the two. Plus, noodles just seemed too easy. Rennyn wanted to play with the spices he'd bought to make the flavor of the meat stand out. "If that's not enough, then just do something with the sauce on the side," he said, flipping a hand in the direction of the sauce he'd left on the counter. Again he didn't wait for her to give her opinion before he immediately took out a pan for the meat and turning on the stove. Oddly enough, all of this felt really natural. Though he'd watched cooking plenty of times, he'd never been able to really do it himself, so he was praying--with ironic word choice--that it turned out pretty decent. He wasn't even sure what failed cooking would taste like, but he'd only heard bad things.
"I don't think you can mess either of those things up~" he added for good measure. The atmosphere had been too calm, there was no conflict, and it worried him a little. Getting along with an angel? Unheard of.
