Sounds terrible! Haha. Yeah, all we knew was that he was going off to war with their father and we were ending this on him being crowned king, but that leaves a huge gap of "what now?" in between. I'm thinking of changing his curse a bit, as I originally had an idea back when I was going to write for him, but I'll keep it so that he gets a lot of pain in chapter four which allows most of the references to him in the following chapters to stay the same. I'll post up the new brother probably tomorrow or Friday, and hopefully have chapter four re-written over the weekend so that I can start the next chapter asap.

And yeah, that sounds like a plan I suppose! Also, sorry I never replied to our PM. I have this bad habit where I'll read something before I go somewhere, or before I fall asleep, and then I completely forget later on... Replying to this reminded me

Oh, that doesn't sound too bad! Except the refraining from eating part. It's always nicer when it's for someone else.

That's okay, I totally understand that. I do it a lot when I'm on my phone just before bed or have to go somewhere. Not to mention when my inbox becomes filled up with messages to do with either the magazine or staff.

Here's what I've got to replace Thad.

Theodore is the oldest son, and heir to the Philyan throne. He is social and would prefer to be around more social events but is stopped because of their curses. Is close with Genevieve because of the short age distance and prefer to appear strong and confident in front of his siblings. As he's never been assigned the normal duties a crowned prince would have been, he takes being a prince in his stride and jokes around while not taking it too seriously.

His curse would be projection - if a memory is very prominent in someone's mind and he has skin contact with them, the memory is projected into his mind and he can see it from that person's view. It was discovered at the age of four when Genevieve told a lie to their nurse and he has touched her and saw the memory, accidentally tattling on her and getting her into trouble.

I tried not to make him too different from Thad considering what we do have of him in other chapters, but I changed everything else. The curse was what I wanted Gen to have originally but she was more suited for another. The new chapter four should be done within the next two days then I'll get chapter eight written as soon as possible.

The new chapter four is done! I also went through all the chapters and changed Thad to Theo so that we don't forget, but Ada's second chapter (chapter 5) I didn't touch because it's got the aftermath of Thad's chapter which needs removing/rewriting. When that's done, I'll hopefully be done with chapter eight and be able to post it, and if I finish before I'll wait until that chapter gets edited so that it's not updated with bits of Thad and Theo in.

Sorry, I've recently gotten sick and didn't get the alert for this I'm on some hardcore meds at the moment because when I get sick, I get bronchitis and it's a bitch to me, to be frank. But anyway, I've basically spent the entire day sitting somewhere and staring, as well as sleeping, because I don't feel capable of anything more than that... but my mom said it'll only last three days, and I've just gone through day one. After that, my body should get used to the meds and I should be able to function normally. At that point, I'll read the chapter and then edit Ada's chapter so that it fits in with the switch from Thad to Theo

Hey! Sorry I haven't been on things just suddenly got busy here. I just started feeling better though, actually, and next week is when I'm finally going to be able to do stuff. At the moment though, I am in a car making a six hour drive north to where my grandparents live. We're coming back Sunday and either then or Monday is when I'm going to be able to edit my chapter.

I'm so sorry for the delay. I'm usually out about a week (it keeps getting longer the more I get sick) whenever I get sick so I'm so sorry. I was drugged to oblivion and quite frankly, it was a little scary I just stared at a wall most the time. It was like i had to think about doing anything else. So... That's the only reason I couldn't write while sick. And I really do apologize. But yeah, I'll get to work either Sunday or Monday. Thank you so much for your patience!

Sorry it took me so long before I finally did that anyhow, I have my chapter edited. I changed a couple of things, made sure all "Thaddeus" were changed to "Theodore", with one "Theo". I deleted most of one paragraph that had something to do with Thad and his curse, and it all looks good and seems match up with with the new character. I went through it twice, so I don't think I missed anything.

By the way, awesome chapter for Theo ^-^

So I've finally amended the outline to fit in Ada and Emmy accidentally crossing the borders on their way back to Philyan and being picked up and taken before the king as potential spies where Genevieve rescues them. Does this work?

Chapter 29 (Ada) - With the ancestor having helped and told them what was necessary, they make their way back the way they came only to be ambushed by soldiers who think they're spies and arrest them.
Chapter 30 (Emmy) - Having been arrested, they're taken to a cell overnight before being brought before the King. He's had their possessions searched and found nothing so begins to question them when lo-and-behold, Genevieve appears, outraged at how they've been treated and gives them a room to sleep in, has Ada checked by a physician and a nice dinner.
Chapter 31 (Genevieve) - The next day she takes a walk in the gardens with her sisters, they talk about what the ancestors said, get updated about the war, and she confides to them about how none of her letters are being sent to Henry and about how unhappy she is.
Chapter 32 (Theo) - Receives a letter from Kratharsis' king about Ada and Emmy currently being guests of his. He tells this news to the others, reliving them of some of the tension. Gets an update of war, receives news that an alliance his father attempted to broker fell flat, and spends the night in the servants' quarters like before.
Chapter 33 (Ada) - After a few days of spending time with Genevieve, they now have to part ways and go back to Philyan. They say goodbye and with supplies and a carriage provided by their sister, they get back sooner than they think. Find out about their father's injuries, Theo now being king in his stead and tell their brothers about what the ancestor said.
Chapter 34 (Emmy) - Dealing with everyone knowing what the ancestor said, they all discuss it. Visits their father who is better but still very weak.
Chapter 35 (Genevieve) Unable to leave the castle and now without her sisters, she confronts who is to be her husband and tells him that she knows that they have not kept up with their side of the negotiations for this marriage, therefore she will not go through with the wedding. Finally gets to write to Henry and have it actually sent.
Chapter 36 (Theo) - Henry receives the letter, war gets worse, finds out that the other kingdom is short by 8,000 troops that were promised, and they are dealing with the information Ada and Emmy brought back. Has to make a decision regarding the other kingdom, to call Gen back or focus on politics and strength and secure a new negotiation to allow the marriage to commence.
Chapter 37 (Ada) - final chapter
Chapter 38 (Emmy) - final chapter
Chapter 39 (Genevieve) - final chapter
Chapter 40 (Theo) - final chapter - is crowned King of Philyan

Looks great to me!! I'll try and get my chapter up this weekend. Between homework and my mom having tonsil/sinus surgery today, I won't have a chance to write til Friday.

Ive only managed to get half a chapter so far... I have another story I used to update once a week that I had to change to updating every two weeks or I would run out of pre-written chapters since I haven't had time for anything except school. Gah, I'm sorry. I'm sick again, too... But if I end up missing school Monday because of it, I'll work on it then (or maybe this weekend depending if I can keep myself awake for it)

It's okay! Perhaps, while the other three chapters are being written and posted, you start writing bits of your next chapter whenever you get some free time? We have the outline of the whole story and it sounds like it might help you tremendously.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to start doing that. Unfortunately, I didn't get anything written today... While I was home, I got worse. -sighs- I have the worst of luck... I swear I'll get my next chapter up as soon as I'm able though. And then I'll start working on my next one so I can have some prewritten chapters to help out with my general lack of time to write
