Exactly, and even though the mother wouldn't want him to and neither would the father to some extent, they've already stripped them from the responsibilities that they ought to have had by now because of the curses and this wouldn't be something that they'd be able to get him out of because of him being the heir.

Yeah, I can definitely see that being the case.

So, what should the main, over all plot of this story be you think? The curing of the curse maybe?

Yeah, I was thinking that the main plot would be the discovering of the queen's history as well as the curse's history, and although we don't know how they'd be able to cure the curse as of yet, it could end up being a huge part in the war as well. The subplots so far are the war and their royal duties catching up with them with Genevieve being the first to be attempted to married off, but I'd think they would all have their own subplot that link in with the general plot of the story.

Okay, yeah. I see what you mean. I just didn't know what you thought he main plot should be. Did we ever really decide why the queen's family was cursed in the first place though? That might help...

We didn't. It was one of the things we needed to discuss after the characters were finished. I never really had a solid idea behind why the curse was given so it could be that a woman in her family did something which resulted in being cured or a man did something and to hurt him more, his wife was cursed as was the female line. It's going to have to be something that would have been shameful for the family to acknowledge and terrible enough if it resulted in cursing.

This isn't a definite idea but what if the queens family, way before she was born where the family really needed a male heir so they asked someone who dabbled in black magic and the deal was theyd always have a male heir but any first born female (the queen) and her children would be cursed.

I like that! So maybe 200 years ago the king and queen of the kingdom were under threat from a tyrant taking the throne as they were getting on in their years and the queen had only produced a daughter that lived, so the king got his council to scour the entire kingdom and finally found someone who dabbled in black magic (something that maybe their mother/female family had been persecuted for some years ago) and told them that if they helped them conceive a male heir the first female child to be born to the direct bloodline would be cursed to have their children suffer black magic curses. Of course the king and queen would have been desperate enough to agree without thinking of the potential consequences.

Also, what do you think of Thaddeus having to leave the castle to help assemble an army with his father when war breaks?

Alright, great. I'm going to be updating the curse background when I get on my laptop. As we've got that down, the only real thing we have to sort is the family dynamic and the royal details. After that we can then sort out the chapter outline and then sort the title and such out.

In regards to the posting order, how do you guys feel about it going oldest to youngest? So Thaddeus, Genevieve, Emmeline, Adaline? It's fine if you guys don't want to go in that order, it's just a suggestion.

When we've decided a posting order, I think we can start on the outline.

That's fine. We can try youngest to oldest but if that doesn't work I don't mind going first.

Awesome. This means we can work on the chapter outlines. Do you have any idea what you're going to do in your first chapter?
