Eyes Wide Open

  • (Oh, it's not your fault! I was waiting for the caffeine in my soda to kick in, so my brain was kind of dead. xD Hmm, perhaps Tamaki comes over to the Ootori home to hang out with Kyoya later, but Kyoya could be busy with club stuff, so he instead hangs out with Kimi? Or we could go with that study thing that Tamaki just suggested - have him come over for studying?)

Mori glanced over when he heard Kiyomi's voice. He would have greeted her immediately, but he frowned at seeing the injury on her cheek. Without much of a warning, he began making his way over to her, but Honey beat him over as he hugged her tightly. "What happened to your cheek, Kiyomi-chan?" the boy whined as he squeezed her, "Are you okay?"

It was clear that Honey was worried about Kiyomi - and so was Mori. When he approached them, he eyed her carefully. "What happened?" he asked lowly, vaguely repeating Honey's question, but he was interrupted when Kyoya came over to take the paperwork. Nodding slightly, Kyoya scanned over it before he let out a sigh. "Well, do these need to be filled out and returned?" he asked, though he was certain that the girl was dealing with many questions already.
Kimi listened to Tamaki with confusion, rather surprised with just how seriously he took his job as host. She knew from exchanging letters with Kyoya during her year away that Tamaki loved being a host, but she hadn't expected him to be this intense about it. "Ah, but it's fine, really," she assured with a smile. "You don't have to entertain me, Tamaki - I'm not a paying guest, after all. Besides, if you keep seeming so depressed, I'll worry, okay? So, cheer up."

It surprised her that he was offering so many ideas and she wasn't sure what to do. Honestly, she would feel bad if she took him away from the paying guests - because they actually paid and she didn't want them to stop coming there or for them to get upset with the host members or herself.

  • (Studying one sounds good! Haha I'll have it Kyoya and Tamaki are meant to be studying but Kyoya ends up getting a call or something and then Tamaki and Kimi can study together? XD )

Before Kiyomi could answer Honey or Mori she turned to Kyoya "They need to be returned in three days, so it's not too much of a rush," she answered while Kyoya nodded his head and left. Kiyomi turned back to Mori and Honey and breathed deeply, "I'm not really sure, one second a student was rushing past me while I was walking down the hall and the next moment I was knocked out the window. I'm fine though, I landed in some bushes," she laughed nervously, trying to shake off her sore muscles. "I'm more worried about some of the paperwork, when I feel some of the paper ended up getting a bit dirty," she sighed, annoyed at her incompetence.
"You don't need to be a paying guest you know, we aren't that money hungry," Tamaki laughed, waving a dismissive hand in front of his face before pausing at Kimi's next workds. "You'll really worry about me?" Tamaki sniffed, touched that Kimi would actually worry about him being depressed, he couldn't help himself and he picked her up and hugged her while laughing with delight "You're so nice Kimi!" he exclaimed happily.

  • (That sounds good! :D)

Mori frowned slightly at the mention of it, furrowing his brows. "You shouldn't worry about the paperwork," he told her carefully before he let out a sigh. "I'm... Happy to hear that you're fine, though." It eased a bit of his concern, but not much. The cut on her face seemed a bit painful and she was clearly sore. "Maybe you should sit down and relax for a few moments," he suggested quietly.

Honey didn't even wait for her to reply. Instead, he grinned and took hold of her head, quickly dragging her over to the sofa. "Yeah, Kiyomi-chan! You should relax!" he mused happily, though he hugged her again once they were beside the sofa, his eyes slightly teary. "I'm really glad you didn't get too hurt, Kiyomi-chan! You'll tell us if you hurt too much, won't you?"
If Tamaki's seriousness about the club had surprised her, Kimi wasn't quite sure just how shocked she was when he picked her up and hugged her, her cheeks darkening quite a bit. "Oh, u-um," she muttered, unsure of how to reply to him. Whether it was from her surprise or her own sudden nervousness with the sudden contact, she wasn't sure, but her brain frantically searched for something to say, only for her to come up completely blank - definitely a first for her. "W-Wouldn't people worry about you anyways?"

  • "I'm sorry I didn't mean to worry you both," Kiyomi reassured but liking the sound of taking a break and was ushered to a table by Haruhi who went about making Kiyomi some tea. Once Kiyomi had got her tea she thanked Haruhi and sipped away, sighing in bliss. "I'll have to get this dress dry cleaned," she said, thinking aloud.

Turning to Honey Kiyomi tilted her head to him and Mori, "so how was host club today?" she asked, wondering what they'd gotten up too. Knowing Tamaki it could have been anything really.
Tamaki laughed shaking his head, "well of course people worry about it," Tamaki beamed, "but to hear that you'll worry about me warms my heart," he cooed, "oh did you Kyoya tell you I'd be coming along with you both to your place this afternoon?" Tamaki asked, wondering if Kyoya had let Kimi know out of courtesy. Though he guessed Kyoya wouldn't have knowing his serious friend.

  • After hearing her words, Mori wasn't really sure how to answer. He knew that Honey would say something along the lines of, "It was fun!" but Mori didn't generally pay much attention to how the club went. He just went along with it and let things play out however they were meant to.

So, after lifting his shoulders in a shrug and hearing Honey repeat just what Mori had predicted he would say, Mori said, "It was alright, I suppose. Considering Tamaki's idea was to dress as animals, I'm surprised nobody had us making the noises that our respective animal costumes made."
Kimi blinked slowly, not quite understanding how hearing that she would worry could have so much of an effect as to warm his heart. Regardless, she offered an amused and happy smile in response to it, admittedly glad to hear it.

Then he brought up that he was coming over and confusion spread over her features. "Nii-san didn't say anything about it," she said with a slight pout, "I'm surprised you're coming over, though; I'm sure you know how dull it is there."

  • Kiyomi burst out laughing at the thought of Mori trying to squeak like a mouse, though much like his usual stoic self he wouldn't have to say much as his animal persona either. The sun was beginning to set as Kiyomi finished her tea and she let out a tired sigh. Today had been so full on that she was started to feel the pressure of it all.

"I should head home, I'm not feeling so good," she muttered the last part under her breath and went to stand up, from confessing to Mori to dealing with the bullying incident to falling out a window it had taken a toll on Kiyomi both physically and mentally. "I'll see you guys tomorrow," Kiyomi tried her best to smile, kissing Honey on the head and tugging Mori down to her height to steal a quick kiss while the others were preoccupied.

She felt herself start to burn up and quickly went to collect her things. The last thing she needed was to collapse and have people make a fuss about it. She was thankful that she made it to her limo and slide into the back, where she slumped over and lost consciousness.
"On the contrary my dear Kimi, I in fact love spending time at your house, it's much better than my lonely house at least and I have Kyoya to keep me company... when he doesn't ditch me for business phone calls that is, but now that you're back I now have you to spend time with, that is if you want," Tamaki chuckled, not want to intrude in case Kimi already had plans doing other things.

  • (Ah, what do you want me to do with Mori's part? xD)
    September 11th, 2014 at 07:57am
  • (If you want you could have him notice her strange behaviour and follow after her, or if you want you can skip to the next day xD )

  • (That works!)

A frown tugged at Mori's features as he watched Kiyomi wander off. His brows furrowed in concern and, despite himself, he stood and followed after her soon after she left. He wasn't even sure if she would be gone by the time that he got outside, but he wanted to check on her, at least - or make an attempt to, anyways, since she might already be gone. When he got outside, he realized that his assumption of her leaving already was wrong.

No, she had just gotten into the limo and she didn't look well at all. With a few long strides, he stepped to the limo and lightly knocked on the window, but she looked like she was asleep. That couldn't be right, could it? For her to fall asleep immediately upon entering the limo? His concern rising, he opened the door quickly. "Kiyomi?" he called out quickly, his tone laced with his worry.
Listening to him, Kimi couldn't help but to smile slightly. She had never known of anybody to actually enjoy spending time at her home, but she figured that Tamaki was probably just that type of person. Shaking her head quickly upon hearing his concern, she grinned. "It's fine with me, really," she assured him, "I haven't really gotten to spend much time with others in ages, so I kind of hope that he does ditch you."

She blinked slowly upon realizing what she had said and she quickly covered her mouth, embarrassed. "S-Sorry, I didn't mean that! It'd be terrible if Kyoya ditched you, after all..."

  • (I want to cry so much haha, I feel so unwell and I'm stuck covering for a chick at work :'( I'm happy to be getting more money but I feel like crap xc )

Kiyomi could feel herself burning up, she heard someone calling her name and recognised Mori's voice. "M-Mori?" Kiyomi tried to sit up to reassure him that she was fine only to slump further. "Need..to get home," she said in broken speech. She had pushed herself to hard and her doctors wouldn't be to pleased. She needed to get home to her room, she had all her medication in a drawer beside her bed and her oxygen mask was close by as well.

When the driver caught on to what was happening he turned to Mori telling him he needed to get her home immediately and without waiting for Mori to say whether he was coming along or not he shut Mori inside the car and once he knew Kiyomi was buckled in he took off toward her house. "She needs to be taken up to her room and have her oxygen mask placed over her, it's standard procedure for when she collapses," the driver informed Mori as the reached Kiyomi large house.
Tamaki watched Kimi stumble over her words and laughed, not finding any offence behind her words because he enjoyed her company. He waved a dismissive hand, letting her know that he knew she meant well.

"It's alright, I know what you mean and I'm use to being left to my own devices," Tamaki said truthfully, "the good thing about Kyoya though is that he'll always come back," Tamaki laughed. "Speaking of which, we should get going," he said and Kyoya nodded his head, gathering his things and the exit the club room and locked as the others had gone home.

  • (I'm sorry! D: Are you still feeling sick?)

Mori's concern increased with each word the driver had said. Looking to Kiyomi, he frowned deeply, wondering why she had pushed herself so hard. When they got to her home, though, he let his thoughts stop and immediately climbed out of the car, gently scooping Kiyomi out as well after unbuckling her. He carefully and quickly made his way up to the house. He wasn't quite sure where her room was or where anything she needed was, so he searched for somebody who could help better than himself instead.

Perhaps it would have been a smarter idea to request for the driver's help, he realized.
Kimi smiled at the mention of it, rather happy that she hadn't come off as rude or offensive. Nodding upon hearing that they could leave now, she packed her things up. She was quick to follow her brother and Tamaki out of the room, though she went ahead to lead the way to the family car while Kyoya locked the door.

  • (You don't need to say sorry haha yeah I'm still unwell xc I have been this whole week but I had to fill in for work, I'm here now at the moment sigh, so glad I finish earlier today and have the day off tomorrow haha)

A maid waited at the door, upon seeing Kiyomi she let a squeak telling Mori to go up the flight of stairs ahead and go to the third room on the left where Lady Kiyomis room was. The maid then said she call for one of the doctors and for now Kiyomi was too be placed on the oxygen tank.

Once Kiyomi was in bed the maid went about the room, getting the oxygen mask and placing it over Kiyomi who was by now was burning a hot fever and and had been gasping for air.
Tamaki followed after Kimi while Kyoya locked up and then followed behind, writing notes in his notebook. Tamaki turned to Kimi, "I don't recall asking you how your first day back at school went," he said with an apologetic smile as they all hopped into Kimi and Kyoya's family car.

  • (Aw, that sucks. D: Well, did you enjoy your day off? :) )

Mori frowned slightly as he watched Kiyomi, his attention never leaving the girl. He stood awkwardly in the room, his eyes scanning over Kiyomi's features. Part of him was hoping that she would wake up soon and the other part wanted her to rest to regain her strength. Either way, he wasn't sure how long he should stay there, since she might wake up and find it a little odd that he was pretty much hovering.
Kimi blinked with surprise to Tamaki's words and she looked over at him as she relaxed in the car. "Oh, it was fine," she assured him with a slight smile, "I'm actually enjoying being back home quite a bit." She had made new friends already - such as Tamaki - and she felt that she was adjusting well to being back.
