My Lady

@ Zhang Yixing;
I rolled over to look at her from the floor. I wasn't sure how I got here, but here I was. "I probably wont." I said, rolling over once more. Being done with my classes for the day, I couldn't look at another book. My headphones still playing XOXO, I waited for Marissa to tell me what had her looking so shocked.

"I as at the bookstore, like I do every friday, right?" I said as I shut the door behind me, locking it then walking over to my bed and sitting on the edge of it. "I was trying to reach this book on the top shelf but being the midget I am, the glorious midget I am. " I corrected myself.

"I couldn't reach, and low and behold this guy comes over and grabs a book - didn't realize til much later that it was the wrong book, BUT the guy.." I said and I swear all the blood drained from my face.

"It was Yixing," I told her not able to contain my giggles anymore, they came spewing out of my mouth before I could get a handle on myself.

I was listening to her story on my back staring at the ceiling. Laughing softy as I listened, I heard her say the name Yixing, and I choked on my laughter. "What?! No way... You're totally right, I don't believe you." I said rolling onto my stomach to face her.

"I'm not crazy, he gave me his number and we're going to the concert!" I told her holding up the piece of paper that I had tucked away in my wallet. "SEE!" I said waving it frantically, "He said to text or call him if I had any questions, I'm not crazy," I repeated.

I narrowed my eyes at her and rolled over, getting up slowly. "Marissa, no one hypnotized you while you were out, right? Were you out smoking with some of the other students?"

"I.. you know I don't smoke, I'm not high and I'm not crazy or hypnotized," I told her pouting a little as I looked at her then pulled my cellphone out of my pocket. "I'll text him," I said sounding pretty confident, "It was him, "I muttered as I put his number in my phone and adding him to it then texting him.

'this is Yixing, right? This is Marissa,' I hit send then let out a breath.

"Don't look at me like that," I scowled.

"I know you don't smoke, Marissa. But Yixing...? Of all people?" I got up and walked over to her, looking over her shoulder at her phone screen. I sighed shaking my head. "I'm going to make some green tea, do you want some?" I said walking over to the little kitchenette corner in the dorm room. I went over and pulled out the teabox and some mugs and setting them down on the counter. I put the water in to boil and just as it began to I heard Marissa's phone go off. "Is it from Yixing?" I said slightly teasingly.

It's not that I didn't know that Marissa knew Yixing like the back of her hand. It was just too surreal. Marissa goes out like she always does, and comes back with his phone number? Does that even happen?

"Yes, green tea sounds yummy right now & stop being mean or I'll go to the concert by myself," I said to her pouting a little and stuck my tounge out at her before looking at my phone and squeaked slightly.

"Yes, it's him," I said as I opened the text message.

I walked over and looked over her shoulder at the screen. "The meanness comes naturally, you know that."

"Hey Marissa, I'm glad to hear from you. I'm sorry I had to leave so quickly, I had schedules planned. What's up?"

My eyes widened. "But..." I knew Yixing was not a popular name in Korea, and I knew it had to have been a pretty damn good look-a-like to have Marissa fooled.
I shook my head, There was no way that happened. Unless, by some miracle, it did.

"Okay, okay. Hang on. Let me sit down," I said going over to get the now hot water. Dropping teabags in, I walked back handing Marissa her mug and sitting down on the nearest flat surface. "Repeat your story. What happened?"

I texted him back quickly then checked it over for spelling errors, or language errors more like.

'It's okay. ^^ It's your job, I just have a few questions... I'm a big planner I like to know everything before hand... is that okay? Is not a bad time?'

"Okay, so I was looking for this book, I have been waiting for it to come in for a while but I realized it was a on a higher shelf so I tried to reach up to grab it but I couldn't reach it. He grabbed it for me, and we talked for like fifteen minutes," I told her as I looked at her, "It's him, he had a schedule so he had to go, otherwise I think we would still be talking,"

'No, not a bad time, we're getting ready for an interview. I already spoke to our manager, you're on the list with security, but just in case of problems, call me or text me.'

I shook my head in disbelief. "But... Yixing... and you... and you're talking sanely... I just... I just don't understand."

"What don't you understand?" I asked curiously, "That you're going to meet Jongin orrrr." I trailed off with a smile on my face, "I am trying really hard to appear sane right now but I'm about to pee myself I'm so excited - but thats not attractive so I'm refraining,"

'Alright, I suppose I'll see you then :)'

'We're going on soon, I gotta go. Oh, I meant to ask you, your friend is a fan of Exo as well, right? I'm just curious.'

The confused expression on my face turned to one of shock. "I'm meeting Jongin?! WHAT?!"

I grinned a little at her, "Duh, we're going to the concert on Wednesday after class, and we're hanging out with them before show we've got tickets and backstage passes," I explained, "Were you even listening to me?!" I whined then looked back to my phone.

'Yep, she is Jongin's fan by the way,' I hit send then looked up.

"and now Jongin knows you're a fan probably," I smiled a little, slightly evil but with good intentions.

@ Zhang Yixing;

'Kai's fan? Oh cool, he'll like that. Should I tell him?'

I blanched. I was meeting Jongin? He'd know I existed? I stood up abruptly. "Oh my god, I have no clothes!" I said running at my closet. I stopped and turned to her. "Wait! How does he know I'm a fan? How? How is this even happening?" I said pacing in circles.

I looked up from my phone, "I told Yixing," I said biting my bottom lip to keep from laughing then looked back down at my phone.

'Yes, tell him. She is kind of freaking out right now, she didn't believe me - she does now though.' I sent to him then looked up shaking my head as I watched you in the closet.

"We can go shopping tomorrow, I don't have any classes," I mumbled as I pushed a hand through my purple hair.

'Okay, I will. Okay, Now I really have to go, I'll talk to you later?'

I put my hand on my forehead and shut my eyes. "I don't have class either but there isn't enough time in the day to find an outfit decent enough." I said, feeling my heart beat in my stomach. I couldn't believe it. I couldn't wrap my head around it. What in the world was happening? "I can't believe it. Us and Exo in the same room. IN THE SAME ROOM, Marissa!"

'Sure ^^, later. Have fun.' I sent back to him quickly before looking up at Jazmin.

"I know, I can't believe it either but one of us has to be calm or we'll never make a good impression. Why he gave me his number is beyond me though - what if I was crazy?!" I said to her lightly as I walked into my closet to have a good look at what I had to work with. "Oh, I can wear this, it still has the tag on it," I mumbled looking at the sweater dress.

I shook my head. "Oh, I'll be calm. I'll kill someone if I embarrass myself in front of Kai. Or anyone in Exo for that matter." I said, walking over to her closet. "That's nice, you could wear that." I mumbled looking at my closet in disdain. "I just know what shoes I want to wear," I said pulling out my favorite red shoes and looking at the stuff in my closet. "Short of that, I'm lost." I muttered. "Why would he give you his number though, I mean, not like he shouldn't have, but you know, aren't there rules about that? You could have been a stalker!"

"I know! thats what I was thinking but he seemed like he really wanted to talk, so I don't know - it's weird to me too," I murmured lightly as I looked through my closet then let out a sigh. "Who knows what was going through his mind, because I could barely process his prescence and breath at the same time,"

I walked back to my bed and opened my lap top, "So, what do I do now? Like.. he wants to continue talking later - this is nerve wracking," I mumbled as I rested my head in my hands. "I think I'm going to be sick, "I paled.
