Loki watched the young girl to make sure she wasn't going to faint on him, "They were made by another God who abandoned them here, so I took them in when they had no one else to serve. No one really knows about them" He explained to the beautiful young lady, although he pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind.

There was no question that Jessica was gorgeous but he had to use her for his plan and that was it, nothing else was going to happen and he'd make sure of that.

"I will warn them again about hurting you" He assured her knowing the one that did hurt her wasn't going to last much longer, standing up he walked back into the bathroom. Finding antiseptic cream he went back over to Jessica, with clean hands he applied the cream to her cheek once the bleeding had stopped. He used the cloth to wiped the blood from her palm, "You need to get some rest. If you need anything there is a button near the door, press it and I'll hear you" He told her before he stood up, taking the cloth with him so he could get it washed.

    -

Abby frowned as she listened to Fury speak to her about her sister, feeling anger fill her body she couldn't hold herself back. She rushed at the older dark skinned man who had one eyes covered with a patch, "Then why aren't you doing something about this? Why did you even let this happen? Aren't you suppose to protect people!" She yelled which she didn't do very often, but when it came to her sister she wasn't going to let anyone get away with hurting her.

"I don't even know why I trusted any of you, you don't even care about Jess" She gave one shove to Fury's chest thought it didn't do much to him, stepping back from him she glared at the man. "If you think I'm going to help you with my so called gift, than you're wrong. I want to go back home so I can get Jessica myself" She snapped knowing she was just letting her emotions get the better of her, she had no idea how to even get Loki's attention to get her sister back.

"And how do you plan on doing that Miss McDowell?" Fury asked irritation thick in his words. "You have no way of getting where you need to go to retrieve your sister let alone possess all the power you need to take down Loki's army and Loki himself." The head hero waited for the young woman's answer he remained calm outside but inside he was bordering on blowing up at the girl. She was too young and unexperienced to do what needed to be done. "now Miss I strongly suggest you turn around and return back the sleeping quarters while we figure out how to get your sister back to you."

    ~

Jessica hesitantly nodded her head watching as the dark haired God exited the room carrying her blood stained cloth. reaching up she gently touched where her wound was feeling it clean and healing underneath her fingertips. Slowly she leant back resting her head on one of the softest pillows she had ever felt before. Jess looked up at the ceiling as she wondered what her sister was doing however it wasn't long before her blue eyes slowly slipped closed and she fell into a deep slumber.

Abby glared at the older man as she slowly inhaled to calm herself down, "I'm sure that I could do more than you have" She answered before she turned around and walked the way she had come from, at least it was the way she thought she had come from. Feeling a large hand grasp her elbow before she was turned into the actual right direction of where her sleeping quarters were, she glanced over seeing Captain America had followed her. "I'm sorry about that" She whispered to him than walked further down the hall, finding the room that he had set her in once before. Shutting the door behind her she climbed back into bed and after a while felt her own blue eyes grew heavy, she shut them so she could get some sleep.

    -

Loki walked through the hallways of his castle, he past by the laundry on the way and threw the cloth into the hamper. He then walked to his own bedroom which wasn't that far from Jessica's, so if she needed him during the night or morning than he'd hear her enough to wake up. He walked into his bathroom and splashed water onto his face, patting it dry with a towel before he climbed into his comfortable bed and laid there for a while.

Jessica ran as fast as her legs could carry her as she sped away from the palace she was being held captive in. Her lungs were on fire and a stitch throbbed on the side of her body. The red head had no idea where she was going, all she knew was that she had to get away.

"Jessica," his voice boomed through the night ricocheting off the ice that surrounded her. Blocking him she continued to run at as fast pace until she was cut off abruptly looking up afraid that she would be standing in front of the black haired God. looking up a sob broke from her lips before she wrapped her arms around the brown haired female who stood in front of her.

"Oh God Abby!" she cried squeezing her sister tightly not wanting to let her go. Suddenly the warmth of her sisters body disappeared replaced by a searing chill. Looking up a scream broke from her list when she saw her sister had been turned into an ice statue.

Jessica bolted upright the scream still leaving her lips. quickly she burried her face into her hands as sobs fell from her lips and her body shook with sadness.

    ~

"Sir, was that really necessary?" Steve asked Nick sharply annoyed at the way the man humiliated the young woman. "Incase you forgot she has lost her sister and been dragged into an unknown territory so don't you think you could be a little more sympathetic?" the snap in the young hero's tone had each member looking around shocked at the man's outburst. "As for her power, you don't know the full extent to which she posses so I suggest you be a little kinder if you want to get any sense out of her. If you keep treating her like a foolish woman then you will get no co-operation."

Fury looked at the dirty blonde intently taking in everything he was saying but before he could answer Steve had spun on the heels of his boots and walked out.

    "Foolish prat," he whispered harshly.

Loki had been sitting in his office when he heard the scream from Jessica, he tried to just ignore her sobs and crying but the longer he had to listen to her sobs he felt deep down that he should do something. So he walked out of his office and made his way through the corridors of his castle until he reached Jessica's room, he walked straight inside not bothering to knock. "What is wrong now?" He asked looking at the small girl who was sitting in the bed with her hands covering her face, walking closer to her where he sat back down on the edge of the bed much like he had when he cleaned the cut on her cheek.

"Tell me about the dream you had" It was obvious that she had a nightmare because she had been sleeping peacefully until now, he didn't know why he was even sitting there with her because normally he would have ignored her cries. But there was something different about Jessica, Loki couldn't quite put his finger on it but he wasn't as annoyed that he had to deal with another human being. He wouldn't even mind if Jessica stayed around longer, not that he would ever admit that to anyone considering he only ever ordered his army around but here was this girl who he could actually talk to.

    -

Abby suddenly woke up from her sleep again but this time she didn't know what from, she climbed out of her bed and opened the door to the small room. She rubbed her eyes with her fingers before she heard someone stop walking, she looked over seeing the one and only Captain America. "Are you okay?" She asked looking at him and she still couldn't believe that she was around The Avengers, this should be a dream but it wasn't and she honestly didn't know how she was being so calm about this situation. She quickly ran her fingers through her long hair to make sure it wasn't a mess, she didn't want to have her hair sticking out when she was standing there in front of the most handsome man ever.

"I know I shouldn't have gone off at him like that, he just made me so angry and I've never even done that before" She looked at him feeling like she should at least explain what she had just done, even though he probably didn't need to hear what she said because he seemed like the forgiving type of person.

Steve Rogers had been sitting out in the small hallway near Abby's room thinking to himself. The brunette was swallowed by his thoughts so he didn't hear the young woman wake and walk out until she spoke. Jumping in surprise when she asked if he was okay he simply nodded his head, "Yes, I'm fine just thinking." Steve couldn't help but watch her chuckling at the way she self consciously ran her fingers through her hair.

"No it is completely understandable as to why you did, there was no reason to humiliate you in front of a crowd of people that you barely know. I swear Fury has no empathy, he doesn't realise what his words do to people." the soldier admitted truthfully, it wasn't the first time that Nick had humiliated another person in front of others, it was as if the older male didn't care, he just had to get his point across. "I am sorry for what he did." Rogers didn't know how well his apology would go.

    ~

Jessica looked at the raven haired God, she was unsure as to whether or not she should tell him her dream. Debating silently for a few seconds she simply answered with, "It was just about my sister," it wasn't a lie, it was just a very vague description of the dream the red head had just witnessed.

"Why are you so bitter?" the question fell from her lips before she could stop them, quickly she pressed her lips together and looked down at her hands. "Sorry," she apologized in a whisper. Jessica had no idea what had possessed her to ask that question. Sure she was curious but she never mean to ask it.

Loki simply nodded slightly at the answer Jessica gave him, he wasn't about to ash more questions about the dream she had. Even if she had told him it was nothing, he would have dropped the subject knowing if Jessica did want to tell him then she would have and he would have listened to her. He never had been the type of person to force someone to tell him anything, unless of course he needed the information but right now all this young woman had was a bad dream and knowing what the dream was about didn't interest him in the slightest.

"No, you must want to know so I'll tell you. I did have a nice, loving family who wanted me there with them. Though they made the mistake of not telling me that I wasn't truly their son, they found me but raised me to believe I was their biological son. When I found this out I had already started to turn bitter, then I found out that I was born to a frost giant which have been my families enemy for as long as I can remember" He explained to her but he had never told anyone about this before, he didn't know why he was telling this stranger but he couldn't stop himself. "My whole life had been a lie and I was angry" He finished speaking knowing she'd most likely wouldn't understand.

    -

Abby gave a light shrug to her shoulders as she stepped closer to Steve before she sat down beside him in the small hallway, "It's okay. You aren't the one who should be apologizing to me" She said as she looked into his amazing clear blue eyes, "There are many more people in the world that are like him, I just stay away from them as much as I can" She gave him a small smile in the hopes that he wouldn't feel too bad about what had happened, sure what Fury had said did hurt her but she wasn't going to cry about it. Once she got some sleep she would forget about it and get focused again on finding her sister.

"We are going to find Jess, right? I know that Loki has taken her to his land but we can still get to her, somehow we have to" Abby still had hope that all these people around her would find a way to get Jessica back, "Can't Thor make the same portable? He can take us there... I mean he can take you guys there" She corrected herself even though she did want to go if there was a way to follow Loki, however that would most likely end up with her getting hurt and someone saving her yet again.

"Thor is working on getting us all into Asguard to find your sister. We will find her Abby and we will bring her back safely. I promise we will stop Loki with his plans before it's too late." The soldier promised the young girl wrapping one of his arms around her shoulders and hugging her close to him. "How about a nice warm, relaxing shower, I am sure Natasha has something you could wear." Steve suggested. Smiling gently at the young woman he awaited her answer.

    ~

"Okay..." Jessica trailed off as she tried to peace together why the God would want to be the reason for an apocalypse. "But why do you resort to bring around the apocalypse?" she asked keeping her tone soft. She was curious but she didn't want to have to face the wrath of the raven haired God just yet. "I mean, I understand your anger but why couldn't you just go smash a wall? Not rid the world of it's inhabitants."

Loki actually had to think about his question for a little while, "Smashing a wall wouldn't get rid of the anger that I feel. I've never had anything for myself, my brother received everything and I've grown tired of it. I want something now and I'm going to stop at nothing to get it" He told her not knowing if she would understand him, but there was a small part of him that wanted to make her understand how he was feeling. She hadn't even been there a day and yet she was making him question himself, she was making him feel different though he wasn't sure if he was liking it or not.

    -

Abby nodded her head lightly as she found herself leaning into Steve's warm body, his strong arm was wrapped securely around her shoulders and she finally felt comfortable in the strange place. "A shower would be nice actually" She said softly though neither made a move to stand up, she wasn't sure how long they sat there together but it was like Natasha knew that they had spoken about her as she rounded the corner of the hallway. "Excuse me Natasha, could I please borrow some clothes?" She asked the short red head woman who nodded her head as she gave Abby a small smile, she followed the woman through the halls until they reached the bathroom. Abby stepped inside and pulled her clothes off, turning the water until it was nice and warm before she stepped under the spray of water and just stood there.

Steve smiled as young woman disappeared into the bathroom with a pile of neatly folded clothes from Natasha. The brown haired male hadn't realised he had been staring for a bit too long before Natasha appeared in front of his face one of her brows arched and her lips pursed questioningly. Looking down the superhero started at the red haired assassin. "What?" he questioned as to why she was looking at him like that.

"You have feelings for her don't you," Natasha questioned a small smile tugging at her lips.

"I don't know what you are talking about Romanov." the red head scoffed rolling her blue eyes at him as her arms folded across her chest.

"Steve Rogers you know what I am talking about. The way you stood up for her against Fury."

"No woman deserves to be spoken to like that..." Steve argued.

"Okay, what was with the puppy dog eyes and gentle touches then? Come on surely you can read body language, she has the same feelings."

"We've only just met!" he emphasised astounded at Natasha's absurd declarations. The red head sighed shaking her head and walking away muttering under her breath. Steve was about to retaliate when Tony appeared telling the two to get into the main room Thor had news.

    ~

Jessica listened to to Loki as he rattled off his reasons as to why he was so angry, how punching a wall wouldn't help ease the fire that was burning inside him. Jessica wasn't able to relate with the raven haired God unfortunately due to her parents never being unfair with their love for Abby and herself.

"I am sorry to hear that," she admitted meaning her words. "Surely there was a time where you loved Thor, even your Father. Can't you see what you're proposing to do will bring about the next armageddon?"

Loki could see in the young woman's eyes that she didn't understand his reasons, he couldn't blame her because she had never been placed in any positions that he has gone through. "Haven't you ever felt like your sister got a tiny bit more love? Or maybe it was you who received more love than her, parents always have favourites" He said not wanting to upset the woman but from his experiences what he was saying was true.

"I have felt love from my family, but I never was one of them. I was born to be like this, my people have always been angry and wanting revenge. Now it's my turn to stand up and get the revenge that I've been waiting for" He said to her though he was enjoying bringing the next Armageddon, though it was growing tiring and he hadn't seen his brother for a long time. He and Thor were complete opposites and he didn't want to admit, but Thor was still his brother as they grew up together.

    -

Thor was standing in the middle of the room with Bruce Banner, "Mr. Banner has maybe thought of a way to replicate the portal that Loki used to kidnap the other woman" The blonde God announced to the group of superhero's, he was glad that the other woman wasn't around as he didn't want to excite her.

"I'll have to do a few more tests with Thor, but I think I've fallen onto something that could at least put me into the right direction. I would also rather this to stay between us, it still may not even work. We don't have the luxury of actually being in Asgard where it's easy to recreate, I've asked Hawkeye and Black Window to keep an eye on the city and the cities close by. Loki could start his plan at any time, possibly sooner now that he has Jessica which we still don't know why he wants her and not Abby" Bruce told the group everything that was going on in his head, though he was also wanting to have a talk with Abby and get to know more about what happened to her.

Steve nodded his head agreeing to keep his new knowledge to himself until the men had made the connection perfect so that the seven of them could get into Asguard and find where Loki was keeping young Jessica.

"I'm not sure why the God would want a normal girl over Abby and her powers."

"Did any of you consider that Loki may want Jessica so he can manipulate her into something stronger then all of us... he wields that power." The six heros looked up at the sound of Nick's voice. Steve had never even considered that fact but now thinking on it it made perfect sense.

"Would he?" Natasha asked turning her attention to the blonde God that stood in the room. His features were creased together in thought.

"It is a possibility. I never know what my brother is thinking anymore."

    ~

Jessica was confused at what the raven haired god was telling her, "Odin and Frigga raised you from birth... they treated you like their own, like a son. Thor he was your brother and just because your 'kind' want revenge you decide to take it into your hands. You would destroy the people who have loved you all your life just to do your kind justice, a kind that you barely know?" Jessica questioned trying to make sense of everything Loki was telling her. "Isn't that like throwing everything your 'family' has done back in their faces?"

"I'm doing this because they aren't my family, they never told me I was adopted. Not even when I asked, I knew I was different but Odin just laughed it off" Loki said remembering how confused he was when he noticed he was different, he asked numerous times if he was adopted and why he felt like that.

Frigga could only comfort him so much without actually telling him where he really came from, "Maybe I'm sick of being lied to and having things kept from me. I have been angry for so long, this is what happens when the anger doesn't come out" He said standing up from where he had sat on the edge of the bed, he shouldn't have even started speaking to Jessica about this.

He couldn't have any weakness once he put his plan into action which would hopefully happen the next day, he knew his brother would be helping the Avengers with getting to him so they could save Jessica.

    -

Hawkeye straightened up in his chair, "If Loki was planning to use Jessica this way. Wouldn't Abby be seeing it or whatever?" He asked looking around at the team of superheros, his eyes stopped on Banner who gave a small shake to his head.

"I'm not sure for certain because I'd love to still ran some tests on Abby, but she could not know how to control the powers she has now. She could be getting visions of multiple things all the time, or she could only see what is given to her" He explained as he wanted to get Abby into the lab so he could work out what is going on in her head.

"Perhaps her visions don't work with the distance, or perhaps Loki has somehow put a block up stopping Abby from seeing the future and what he plans to do with Jessica," Steve suggested earning a nod from the blonde God who stood near one of the many computer screens.

"I would not put it past my brother to do such a thing. He is smart, that is one thing I cannot fault."

"Perhaps you should ask the young woman, Bruce," Steve suggested. Steve was a little hesitant to the testing but he knew that Bruce wouldn't harm her.

"We should get her back in here," Natasha stated before anyone could say anything she had walked out of the room to fetch the brunette.

    ~

Jessica jumped when Loki rose from the bed quickly. Looking up at him she saw the fire in his eyes and she knew it was only a matter of time before he put his plan into action. Only a matter of time before she would be turned into this other being. She needed to bide herself sometime, she knew that Abby would be coming for her, somehow deep down in the pit of her stomach she knew her sister was coming for her.

Loki looked at the girl, "You'll be needing your sleep. Tomorrow the fun begins" He said grinning like the evil he was slowly becoming, walking out of the room he locked the door in case Jessica tried to escape again. He walked to his office where he had his plans secure, he had worked so hard to get to where he was now. He wasn't going to let anything happen to his plan or Jessica, he knew his brother would be trying to stop him which meant the sooner he started changing Jessica the better.

    -

Abby looked up when Natasha started taking her towards the meeting room where she had been before, she was confused when she walked into the room that held the superheros. Before she could ask what was going on, she was taken into a lab.

"Lay down on here, I want to ran some tests and ask you questions" Bruce said to the young girl who laid on a bed for him, he did the usual tests that he needed to see if anything was different in her mind. He wrote down exactly what Abby told him about the car accident and what she had come into contact with, he watched her closely and wrote down many notes on her.

He noticed that Steve was watching them, it was obvious that Steve wasn't impressed with the tests or questions but Abby seemed to be fine as she knew it would end shortly enough.

Steve watched on as Bruce ran his tests on the brown haired woman. The blonde haired male hated experiments. Sure and experiment was what had made him what he was today but some experiments don't end up as well as others.

The superhero listened as Abby answered the questions with no problem, she flinched every no and again as she recalled a memory and he didn't miss the way her eyes filled with tears at the memory of her sister.

Steve knew that he was going to try everything in his power to return Jessica to her sister, he just wished Thor would hurry up with the portal, the sooner that was able to be used the sooner they could all take down Loki.

    ~

Jessica fell back against her bed, she was positive she had made a connection with the raven haired God. Sure she couldn't get him to change his mind about her fate, but perhaps if she worked harder she could bend him and he would change his mind about what he wanted to do to her.

Tomorrow was the day, tomorrow was the start of everything, the start of her losing her true self and being taken over by a creation that would make her indestructible. If she was going to do something she had to think quickly.

Once Bruce was finished with Abby, he let her leave and watched as she walked away with Steve. "You didn't have to wait for me" Abby looked at the attractive blonde as they walked side to side, Bruce had told her that he'd talk to her soon after he looked through the test results. "Bruce told me to get some sleep" She smiled at him as they headed towards her small room, all she wanted to do was tell Jessica all about Steve and how amazing he was but she couldn't and that hurt her.

"I'll see you in the morning" Abby took a chance and leaned up, she pressed a kiss to Steve's cheek before she hurried off into her room as a blush covered her cheeks which she didn't want him seeing. She climbed into the bed and curled up under the covers, it took her a while before she fell asleep.

In the morning she stretched her body out and made sure she looked presentable, mainly making sure her hair wasn't a mess before she stepped into the hallway. She walked around trying to find a kitchen or anything where she could get something to eat as she was starving.

    -

Loki had gone to bed not long after as he knew tomorrow was going to be a big day, mostly for Jessica but he still wanted to get enough sleep to deal with her. He slept through the night and in the morning he took his time getting up, he got himself ready for the day and made himself his usual breakfast.

He finished eating and carried a tray into Jessica's room where she was still sleeping, he set the tray down beside the bed so she could also eat before he put his plan into action. He walked back out locking the bedroom door behind himself, knowing she would try to slow him down so he didn't harm her.

Jessica woke with a start, a gasp broke from her lips as she bolted upright in her bed. Today was the day that Loki was going to start everything. Bile rose in her throat but she swallowed it back refusing to throw up. Sighing she closed her eyes she looked around her room when she spied a tray of food beside her. She couldn't eat. She was to worried. All she wanted to do was wake up from this nightmare she had been swallowed into. She lay back down her eyes open as she looked out her window as the warm light shone on her skin.

Steve climbed out of his bed, running his fingers through his brown hair he yawned. He looked at the clock beside his bed, it was 7:03. Getting to his feet he stretched out his body listening as his bones cracked. Grabbing a shirt he pulled over his body before stepping into a pair of jeans and walking out into the hallway.

He heard movement so he followed it, smiling he found Abby moving around the kitchen looking for breakfast. However she had come up empty handed.

    "Good morning," he greeted her.

Loki went into his lab where he was shortly going to bring Jessica, he had already gone over all the equipment but he wanted to be positive that everything was ready. He checked the fluid that would be pumped into her body that would change her, change her into someone who can't ever be stopped. A twisted smile appeared across his face at the thought of Jessica being the only solider that he'd ever need.

The experiment it self would take some time so the sooner he started the better, he made sure the chair she'd sit on was ready to hold her in place. Once he felt ready himself, he walked towards her room again. Unlocking the door he stepped inside, "It's time Jessica" He spoke calmly as one of his army lifted her up and carried her as she wouldn't come willingly.

As they entered the cold lab, Loki waited as Jessica was placed on the chair. Her wrists and ankles were placed in cuffs and locked in, Loki stood beside her and brushed red hair back from her face. "This is going to hurt" He warned her gently letting his fingertips brush across her cheek.

Abby turned around hearing a voice sound behind her, "Oh morning" She smiled seeing it was only Steve, he was the only one she had seen that morning. More could have been awake but she hadn't seen them, hopefully they were because Jessica still needed their help.

"I was just trying to find something to eat, but..." Abby trailed off as she stood still and a glaze come over her blue eyes, her breathing slowed as she had another vision that stopped her dead in her tracks. She saw Loki's face and the chair that was holding her sister down, tubes of fluid were laying on a metal trolley.

"Jess" She whispered as she came back to herself but her heart was already racing, "He's starting. He's going to torture her" She said in alarm as she wasn't any closer in finding her sister.
