Disney Town

Adam pushed himself up when mercifully the bell rang. He grabbed his back pack and tossed it over his shoulder as he walked out of the classroom. Looking around, he wondered if Belle came anywhere near here when she walked to her next class. Sighing softly, he walked over to his locker and banged on a certain spot and it popped open without a need for his combination.

Kiara looked up at him for a moment, "well, if I'm not a tease or daddy's little file, what would you like me to be?" She asked as she almost got lost in his dark eyes. She looked away and blushed lightly under his gaze but didn't move away. This was good, being in his arms, she thought with a soft smile on her face.

Shang smirked slightly as he swung his other arm around her. "When you spar in the audition, make sure the other person strikes first. You can learn a lot about someone's fighting style in their first stroke," he said honestly as he watched her. "Good, always block with your arm," he nodded toward her before continuing.

Pocahontas looked over at him. "You will find many people here who disagree or don't care about the feud but that doesn't mean that any one of them is ready to cross that border and go into enemy territory," she said honestly as she looked over at him. "Like I said, easier said than done," she sighed softly as she tried to stay relaxed.

Belle scanned around as she made her way out of the classroom. The books were still firmly held in her arms, though her papers and pens were in her bag. It was odd to others, she was sure, since it probably would have been more convenient to have the books in the bag as well, but she liked the feel of the books in her arms.

A smirk came to Kovu's features as he eyed her carefully, glancing her up and down as he took in her full features. "Well, there's always the option of being mine," he teased lightly and though his tone was slightly joking, there was quite a bit of seriousness in it. He liked her, after all, even despite their different statuses.

"Wouldn't it be easier to avoid the attack altogether by ducking?" Mulan asked with an eyebrow arched in curiosity, tilting her head to the side slightly. In her opinion, it would have probably been best to duck, though when she noticed him beginning again, she quickly blocked once more before throwing a strike herself.

Shrugging, John turned his attention ahead once more. "You never know unless you give them somebody to follow. Every group of rebellion needs a leader," he mentioned. Of course, it wasn't quite a rebellion, but he felt that the word would fit well enough - in a way, it would be a rebellion if such a thing happened, after all.

Adam looked around before spotting Belle coming down the hallway toward him. Walking over, he turned ao they were walking in the same direction. "So what do you think of it so far?" He asked curiously as he continued to walk. He knew that she had started already so he smiled gently over at her. "I can very those for you?" He offered as he motioned toward the books in her arms.

Kiara bit her lip gently as she heard him speak. "Kovu," she said before she looked up at him. "Let's skip, let's go somewhere right now where I'm not a preacher's daughter and you don't live on the eldest side. Please? Where we can be together and not have to hide. Just for a little bit," she begged as she looked up at him. She wrapped her arms around his neck gently. "Please?"

"You don't duck because in karate you don't get points for ducking," he said as he easily blocked her swing. "Nice jab but next time, point your fingers in the same direction and keep your fingers right even after the block," he said as he moved around and swung his leg. He knocked her off her feet and stood above her. "It was good for a first time," he said honestly.

Pocahontas watched him for a moment before nodding slightly. "A rebellion," she said thoughtfully. "That's not a half bad idea. I mean....you might have something going for that one," she said softly before shrugging. "Well, see you after this period," she said as she motioned toward the class. This is your stop," she said as she looked up at him for a moment.

Belle blinked, turning her attention up towards him. A smile soon appeared on her features. "Well, so far, I like it," she assured gently, nodding before returning her attention ahead, shifting her books in her arms. "You don't have to carry them. I like the feeling of books in my arms. If I didn't, I'd have them in my backpack without having to worry about it otherwise."

Kovu couldn't help but to smirk to her words. Obviously, he wasn't going to back off on a chance to spend time with her alone. Even if they just teased each other or just hung out, it would be better than having to be bothered by everybody else at the school. Nodding slightly, he figured there wasn't any harm in it. "Let's go, then," he decided quietly, "Anywhere you want, as long as it's not some boring place." His tone came off teasing, though he was honestly a little excited.

Mulan took a few deep breaths as she stared up at him from where she had landed on the floor. After a moment, she swung her leg under him to trip him before she hopped up and shrugged. "You don't get points for underestimating your opponents, either," she said bluntly before she moved to grab a towel, soon heading to the girls locker room, since she figured her class would start soon. It would probably be best to change and start heading over to it.

John chuckled quietly when she seemed to think the idea was okay. "Of course I have something going for that one. I'm a self-proclaimed genius," he joked lightly, though, really, he just hated seeing people hate each other because they were told to. It was bothersome and there was obviously a lot of tension in the school because of it. "I'll see you after class, then." He nodded before making his way in.

Adam watched her with a smile on his face and nodded. "I'm glad you like it," he said honestly as he ran his fingers through his hair. He pulled his brown hair out of his ponytail before tying it up again. "And okay," he said honestly, as his hand fell back down and he held his bag gently in his hand through the one strap over his shoulder. He watched her for a moment and was surprised almost by how beautiful she looked.

Kiara looked up at him with a big grin as she slipped her hand into his and pulled him. "Your car or mine?" She asked as she pulled him slightly toward the parking lot. She wanted out of here so much as she glanced over at him before she bit her lip gently. "Am I acting too excited?" She asked as a bright red blush painted her cheeks and travelled down her neck and disappeared down her chest.

Shang looked at her and nodded. "Come at the beginning of class tomorrow so we can get started earlier." He said as he grabbed his stuff and began walking to the locker room. He turned and almost complimented her before shaking his head and walking to the locker room. She was something else, he thought to himself as he stripped and stepped into the locker room shower for a quick wash up.

Pocahontas looked at him and laughed when he spoke of his self proclaimed intelligence. She turned and walked into her class which turned out to be across the hall and she smirked gently. She sat down and immediately people came and sat around her. "Look, I have to show him around because of the principle. No one is cozy info up to anyone," she said to the questions that were thrown her way.

Belle smiled slightly and nodded in response. "You have a good taste in books," she mused quietly, having read a few of the other ones that he had given to her. "I'm a little surprised with it." Smiling, she turned her attention to him, though she was surprised to find that his attention was already on her. A faint blush tainted her cheeks and she glanced away, trying to hide the slight embarrassment that flew through her. "Is something wrong?"

"Mine," Kovu decided with a firm nod, "Others might get suspicious if your car disappears in the middle of the school day, little miss goody-two-shoes." He smirked slightly as he glanced over at her, though he wasn't quite sure over how to answer her question, since she wasn't exactly too excited - just a lot more excited than he really expected her to be. "Well, not too excited," he teased with a slight smirk as he approached his car, unlocking it before he opened the doors.

Mulan simply nodded in response to his words, mentally forcing the information into her mind before she moved to the shower. Stripping from her clothes and pulling her hair free from the ponytail, she took a quick shower before drying off. Her hair was still a little wet once she was dressed, but she didn't really mind. Stepping up to the mirror, she quickly redid her makeup, knowing her parents would ask about it when she went home if it wasn't there, and she made her way out of the locker room, shifting her bag onto her shoulder.

John looked around the classroom for a long moment before he moved to find an empty seat. Again, the rumors were floating around, but he didn't bother speaking to anybody about it, despite their nagging questions. It was driving him crazy and making him want to end the rivalry and hatred between the two groups all the more. "Will all of you just shut up?" he eventually asked, his tone rather blunt, "You obviously don't know what you're talking about."

Adam looked at her and chuckled at the blush that appeared on her cheeks. He glanced away and shook his head. "No, nothing is wrong," he promised as he shoved his hands into his pocket and continued walking. "You are surprised by my good taste in books?" He asked with a raised eyebrow as he chuckled. "Fair enough. I have never given anyone a reason to believe that I would have a good taste in books," he admitted.

Kiara smiled as she slid into his car. Looking around, she laughed. "You know you love it, now let's get out of here. Want to go to the beach?" She asked knowing it was about an hour and a half drive from the town. It was just far enough that most likely no one they knew would be there. "Please?" She asked with a grin on her face as she reached over and touched his thigh gently.

Shang stepped out of the shower and out on his clothes before running his fingers through his hair. Grabbing his backpack, he walked out and headed to his locker to grab the books he needed for next class. As he walked, he found that his thought were almost completely on Mulan. She was gorgeous, he had to admit, he thought as he walked down the hall before shaking his head. No, he can't think that.

Pocahontas looked at her friends for a moment and her eyes widened slightly when she realized that for the first time in her life, she was seeing what John saw. They were a bunch of kids who had no reason to hate each other and yet every single one of them did. They gossiped pointlessly about each other just to be mean and she felt a soft sigh slip past her lips. It was crazy, she realized with wide eyes.

Belle offered a hesitant nod and shook her head. "Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you," she told him, letting her eyes drift to the ground as she tried to focus her mind on something aside from the fact that she was actually feeling a little nervous around Adam. She wasn't sure if it was the good nervous or bad, but it wasn't such a bad feeling. "What other kinds of books do you read?"

"The beach?" Kovu asked with surprise. He hadn't expected her to want to go that far away. At the same time, it was a public place, which meant that they wouldn't get to do much, much to his dislike, but he could deal with it. "Sure, we can go there." He nodded once before starting the car. Once he backed out of the parking spot, he drove away from the school, heading onto the highway that led to the beach.

Mulan's eyes scanned the hall once she was out of the gym entirely. She was quick to walk to her locker, opening it easily before she tugged out what she needed. After closing the locker, she turned and began to make her way to class, though she was finding it hard to concentrate. With a deep sigh, she ran a hand through her slightly wet hair and chewed on her lip before ducking into class.

It was obvious that, despite his efforts, they weren't going to listen to John. They were just going to keep gossiping. And even if he did manage to shut these people up, others were probably still talking about them regardless and it would never end. Pinching the bridge of his nose, he tried to ignore how terrible this school, this entire town was. They all hated each other without a valid reason and it was crazy.

Adam looked at her for a moment before he shrugged his shoulders. "I read almost anything. I like philosophy but who doesn't like to get lost in a good adventure story?" He asked as he smiled gently before he sighed lightly. "I like all kinds of books. What about you? Do you have a favorite kind of book? You know....for next time," he asked with a sheepish grin on his face as he chuckled.

Kiara smiled as they went. "I know this cove that almost no one goes to. It's sunny and happy and...private," she said with a smirk as she brought her hand away from his tight and rested it in her lap. She relaxed in his company and found that she could actually be herself around him. "I don't have to be home until nine tonight so we have the while day," she said with a grin seeing that it was only 11:30."

Shang sighed as he grabbed what he needed before heading to his next class. He wasn't much for sitting around in a classroom for over an hour but he knew it had to be done so he did it. It was necessary in order to advance is what his father preached to him over and over again as he sighed and brushed his fingers over his wet hair.

By the end of the class, Pocahontas was so fed up and she pushed herself up and left the minute the bell rang. Walking across the hall, she waited until John came out before leading him to a more private corner of the court yard and sat down. "You know, I didn't notice until now but these people," she said with a frustrated groan.

Belle blinked in surprise to his question and thought over it before smiling. "Well, as childish as it might seem, I don't really think anything can beat a good fairy tale, whether it be something of adventure like Jack and the Beanstalk or Treasure Island or something of love, which I could list several examples of but I don't think I'd have enough time," she said with a hint of amusement in her voice.

"Private, huh?" Kovu repeated, a slight smirk coming to his features. "Not such a Miss Goody-Two-Shoes when it's just the two of us, hm?" Admittedly, he liked this side of her, but he wished that she wouldn't hide it all the time. He, personally, didn't give a shit what everybody else thought. Why would he? He was a social outcast, even amongst the Poors because he was the bad boy.

Mulan slid into her seat once she was in her class. Glancing around, she leaned back in her seat, seeing that not many people were in there yet. Letting her elbow rest on the desk, she soon leaned her head into her palm and glanced towards the window. She wasn't really looking at anything in particular, but she could almost imagine Shang's touch again and it surprised her so much that she was even thinking about him.

John was surprised to see her so frustrated, but nodded as he moved to sit down. "It needs to change," he told her quietly, turning his attention to the sky, though his eyes would occasionally flicker over to her. "I'm certain we're not the only ones who think like that. We just have to find others that agree. That rebellion idea might actually come to life." The last bit sounded more like a joke, but he figured it might actually be a possibility.

Adam looked at her and chuckled before nodding. "Yeah, nothing like a happy ending," he said thoughtfully as he watched her for a moment. He leaned over and brushed a stray hair out of her face before straightened up and cleared his throat. "Um....this is me," he said as he gestured toward the class. "I will see you later," he said with a gentle smile on his face and headed into the class.

Kiara looked over at him for a moment and bit her lip. "Well, with you I don't have to be perfect," she said with a shrug. Smiling, she realized they had arrived and she hopped out of the car. It was about a fifteen minute walk until they got to the cove and she grinned when she saw no one was around. Glancing over over him, she slipped her shirt and skirt off, leaving her in her bra and underwear before she headed to the water.

Shang walked into the class and sat down in his usual seat around the middle edge of the room. He was one of the few people that was a Royal but was semi accepted in the Poors side before there were both sets of people on the karate team and they had to be able to work together in order to beat people which it turned out, they both wanted to do. He nodded to his friends as they walked in and took up their seats as well.

Pocahontas looked over at him and nodded. "How about you start talking to Royals and I can take Poors. The more people we find who are open to the idea, the easier it will be to get the people who don't to but into it. You should start with Adam or possibly the karate team," she told him as she looked up at him. "This isn't going to be easier," she said honestly as she ran her fingers through her long hair.

Belle's face tinted a bright red as she stared after him. Quickly looking away, she turned her attention back to the floor before stepping into her classroom quickly. She was surprised with how flustered she suddenly felt. It wasn't something she was used to. Shaking the thought away, she let out a heavy sigh as she tried to force her blush away and she moved to sit down, opening her book and getting lost in it once more.

"Correction. With me, you don't have to act perfect. I think you're perfect this way," Kovu said simply, though he blinked as he watched her. He couldn't help but smirk, keeping his eyes on her form, though he shook his head and followed suit, stripping down to his boxers before he followed her into the water. Regardless of what things were like at school, he was going to fully enjoy himself with her without the annoyance of others.

Mulan sat up straight when she noticed the teacher walk in. Quickly getting her things out of her bag, she got ready for the class to start, preparing to take whatever notes she had to. One of her friends asked why her hair was wet since it hadn't been that morning, but she waved the question off and just offered a smile. Nothing more was asked since they all knew that Mulan was rather diligent in school, for her family's sake.

John nodded slightly in response to her words. "Adam or the karate team, got it," he decided, figuring it would be easy enough. "I'll also try to find others, if I can. Now that we have our minds set on this, we can't get nervous about it or about what others may think. I'm certain we can break at least part of the barrier between the two groups. It may not be everybody that follows through, but even just a few would be a good start."

Adam say down and sighed as he ran his fingers over his chin. He watched as more and more people came into the room but he barely paid attention to any of them. It was better that way, all they did was annoy him and he wasn't in the mood for that. Belle had out him in a very good mood and he wasn't ready to lose that because of some stupid high school kids and their big mouths.

Kiara smiled as he followed her and she swam over to him. She grinned as she touched his bare chest and shivered at the idea of being so close to him while they were both barely clothed. "You think I'm perfect when I'm like this? Why?" She asked a she watched him with a curious look on her face. She swam closer and wrapped her legs around his waist.

Shang looked up when the teacher came in and he leaned back in his chair. He was ready for the lesson to begin so that he could get on with it but the other half of him was also ready to just be done so that he didn't have to listen the the lectures anymore. He knew that he had what he needed to succeed in this town and later in life so he sighed and paid somewhat attention to the teacher's lecture.

Pocahontas looked at him for a moment before nodding slightly. "The more the merrier," she said softly as she looked down at her hands. She couldn't believe that just like that this new kid had made her want to change her whole way of life. She supposed that a part of her had always wanted to change it but now...she was going to take on her father, everyone that she cared about. Hopefully it would be worth it she thought.

Belle didn't even bother to pay attention to those that were sitting around her. Her attention was fully focused on her book. Or, mostly, anyways. Another part of her mind occasionally wandered to thoughts of Adam but she quickly forced them away. If she let herself overthink about his gifts and slight kindness, things might turn out bad and she didn't want that.

Kovu smirked slightly as he let his hands rest under her, holding her up as he shrugged. "Because you're not acting when you're like this," he said simply, "At school, you always have to act like you're perfect and keep everybody satisfied with that belief, but it's not the real you. I believe that this suits you much more." Smirking a bit more, he shrugged again.

Mulan took down as many notes as she could before her hand had started cramping. Setting her pencil down, she massaged her hand slightly before she found herself glancing away, waiting for the cramp in her hand to go away. Once it had, she went right back to taking notes, though she felt bad for missing part of the lecture. Hopefully it wasn't too important, though.

John nodded again, though he eyed her with a slight curiosity when he noticed that she was looking at her hands. "Is something wrong?" he questioned with curiosity. He wondered if she was really okay with this. Not everybody could go against the social norm, after all, but he didn't have anything to lose. She, however, did, and he could understand if she didn't want to be involved.

Adam sighed as he sat in class. It was ridiculous, he thought, he was normally a loner, avoiding everyone here and yet the minute that he might be doing something everyone wanted to talk to him. "Leave. Me. Alone." He stated, making sure to be happy. He ran his fingers over his face and sighed deeply again.

Kiara looked at him for a moment and she smiled as she wrapped her arms around his neck. She leaned up and kissed him deeply before nipping his lower lip. She ran her tongue over his lower lip before pulling away and watching him. "You like it when I am like that?" She asked with a raised eyebrow and a smirk.

Shang looked over at his friends who were goofing off and not paying attention simply because it was the first day of school. Reaching over, he grabbed Hercules's arm and yanked him back into his seat. "Pay attention," he hissed before turning back to look at the teacher. This was going to be interesting.

---

Pocahontas glanced over at him and shrugged slightly. "I'm not thrilled about doing this but it needs to get done," she said honestly. "I would rather it be me than someone else," she said simply before she sighed again. "You ready to take on a whole town?" She asked as she watched him for a moment. "It's gonna suck."

(Sorry, I would have replied to this earlier, but my brother cracked his skull at school today - along with breaking his arm and wrist, his cheek bone and his ear bone. Since they had to airlift him to a different hospital in a different town, I've been busy taking care of my other brothers.)

Belle smiled slightly to herself as she read. It was obvious by now that she wasn't going to let those around her ruin her day. She was fairly content with reading a book and having her small conversations with Adam; she didn't see why others had to be so bothered by it. She ignored the conversations around her, though, not caring for them.

It surprised Kovu that she had taken the initiative to make an act first. The realization made him smirk and his smirk widened to her question and he nodded. "Of course I do," he decided, his tone reflecting a faint amusement that he didn't even try to hide, "Why wouldn't I? I'm not those other stick-in-the-muds, after all."

Mulan kept her attention on her notes as well as she could. Surprisingly, she was honestly ready for the school day to just end. Normally, she wouldn't think such things, but she was actually looking forward to the next morning and the sooner the day was over, the sooner she could have another karate practice.

"Well, it won't just be you," John assured her with a nod. "Keep in mind that we'll be gathering others - and they'll be gathering others as well, if they can. We won't be all along in this." He offered a small smile, hoping to reassure her that everything would be okay, that they could do this, though he soon nodded. "I'm ready as long as you are.

(Don't worry about it! I completely understand! Family comes first.)

Adam sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair. This was getting to a point of being ridiculous, he thought before standing up. "Get your heads out of your ass! No one cares about what you think might be going on so just shut up," he yelled, earning himself a detention but at least it out an end to the gossip for now.

Kiara looked at him with a smile on her face as she nodded slightly. "Alright," she said as she pulled away. She smirked before pushing him under water with a laugh. She began swimming away and she was about at ankle deep water before she slipped and fell into the wet dans. She didn't hurt herself but simply continued to laugh.

Sweet mercy, Shang thought when the bell finally rang and he pushed himself up. Grabbing his bag, he went to his locker to grab the books he needed and he found himself looking for Mulan in the hallway. He had no idea why he was doing it but he was. Sighing, he got his stuff and threw his backpack over one shoulder before shutting his locker.

Pocahontas looked at him for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, I guess you are right," she said softly before she nodded. "Let's get this show on the road," she said. "Hey! You should also talk to Kiara," she said before turning slightly. "I'll meet you here in like twenty minutes. I have a few ideas for people to talk to." She said.

Belle could hear somebody yelling, even from her class, and she blinked in surprise as she came to realize who the voice belonged to. Glancing towards the door, she wondered what was happening over in Adam's class and she found herself worried. It was easy for her to ignore everybody around her, but apparently it was difficult for Adam and she was worried that they'd just keep annoying him. It wouldn't surprise her; the school spread gossip like wildfire, which was why she didn't pay attention to it.

Kovu was surprised to feel himself shoved under the water, though when he came back up, he glanced around before smirking when he saw her. "Now, who knew you could be clumsy," he teased her as he followed after her, soon moving to help her up as he eyed her carefully. "You really should watch yourself more." In honesty, it was more so his way of telling her to be more careful; he didn't want her to get hurt, especially with him being so close and being able to prevent it yet failing to.

Mulan packed her things up once class ended, settling everything in her bag in a rather organized fashion. She had a specific way of doing anything, despite her usually seeming carefree. Lifting her bag onto her shoulder, she made her way out of the classroom and let her eyes scan the hall as she made her way to her locker. She wasn't even sure what she was looking for. Perhaps one of her friends. She just refused to believe that she was looking for Shang.

John nodded in response before he moved to stand up. "I'm going to go get started, then," he decided, figuring that it was best. "Good luck." He offered another smile, a much kinder one than just moments ago, one that seemed more him than the other. With a shrug, he shifted his bag and made his way back inside the school. His eyes searched the hallways, trying to find whoever he could talk to first. Things had to change, after all, and if he didn't find the right people, everything would stay the same.

Adam watched as the teacher handed him a detention slip and he growled under his breath. "This is bullshit," he said as he pushed himself up. "I was just saying what no one else had the balls to say," he stated as he turned and walked out. He ignored the protests of his teacher as he made his away through the courtyard and over to his tree. Sitting down, he sighed as he pulled out his textbook and began reading.

Kiara looked up at him for a moment as she smiled before she pulled him down into the went sand with her. Grinning, she leaned up and kissed him again gently before letting her head fall back away. She knew that she must look like a mess covered in sand and with her hair everywhere but she found that with Kovu, she didn't really care if she looked like a mess. She reached up and ran her fingers over his chest to his stomach.

Shang sighed softly as he continued to walk to his class. He turned down a hallway and his eyes immediately began searching for Mulan, despite his protests. His deep, dark eyes met hers for a moment and he nodded before he turned his head slightly and continued to walk down the hallway. He had no idea what to think of that interaction over even if he should think about that interaction.

Pocahontas talked to a few people before she went back to the bench that she and John had previously occupied. Looking up at the sky, she sighed softly. "Maybe mother willow will have an idea," she thought to herself as she pushed herself up. Glancing around, she wondered where John was at then moment. Hopefully he was doing better than she had done, she thought to herself.

Belle found herself glancing towards the door a few times throughout the class. Once the class had ended, though, she moved to stand up, gathering her things once again and made her way out. Her eyes searched for Adam as the class across from hers dismissed but she didn't spot his face at all, which either meant that he was still in there or he had gotten into enough trouble to be sent out of class - or something along the lines of that. A quick peek into the classroom confirmed that he wasn't in there, though, and she sighed before she made her way to her locker to change out her textbook.

Kovu smirked as he stared down at her, tilting his head to the side as he eyed her carefully. The feeling of her fingers running down his chest and stomach was enough to drive him crazy - well, crazier than he already was for her. "Are you being even more of a tease?" he asked in a whisper, having lowered his head to breathe the words against her ear. It was amusing and, despite that he could care less for an actual answer, he was more interested in how she would react to the closer contact between them. This was Kiara, after all; sometimes he wasn't really certain if she was interested in him or if she was just being a rebel.

Mulan paused in her steps for just a moment when she noticed the slight acknowledgement from Shang. But, it had only been slight and there hadn't been anything spoken - which ultimately meant that their practice that morning was obviously between them. Perhaps he was ashamed of helping a Poor and the thought made her sigh. With a shrug, she continued on her way to her locker, one of her friends coming up beside her as she started grabbing her things. The other girl was talking nonsense that Mulan could care less about but she made an effort to pretend to care.

John had to ask around over who Adam, Shang, and Kiara were - and who were all on the karate team, since that was what Pocahontas had suggested. His eyes scanned the halls and when he glanced into a classroom, he could see out the window, finding somebody who looked like the description he had been given of Adam sitting by a tree outside.
