Mariska smiled, "I guess i should enjoy every moment i have with you then." She said. She stood up then walked over and got a bottle of wine out. She offered him a glass then poured herself some.

"I will savor it as long as I can." he smiled back at her, accepting the glass. "Thank you." it wasn't the custom made wine his parents received as gifts, and it didn't taste as sour as he liked, and although cheap it will still pleasant. Much better then the coffee.

Mariska looked at him when he made a face after trying the wine. "Don't judge my wine." She teased. She took a sip of her drink, then turned off the tv and turned on some music. Mariska listened to a wide variety of music but what she turned on ended up being classical. "Wow that is not what i thought was in there." She said as she reached for the remote.

"I'm not! Its actually quite nice." he grinned sheepishly at her. Leaning back on the sofa stuffed, he relaxed. He grabbed her hand gently, setting the remote back on the table. "This is my fathers favorite song!" he grinned happily. "My dad would like you."

Mariska smiled when he did, "Okay we will leave it here." She said. She took a sip of her wine as she relaxed against the couch. A few hours later Mariska was feeling pretty good from the wine that she had been drinking for most of the night. She stood up, offering James her hand. "Dance with me." She said, laughing softly. She loved spending time with him because he was smart and funny.

"Of course, my lady!" he felt tipsy from the wine, but it was a good kind of tipsy where you felt a thrill. He accepted her small hand, holding it with his and pulled it to his lips, placing a kiss on her knuckles before bowing and grabbing her waist. He was taught to dance at a very young age, because when you are from the royal family you will dance.

Mariska smiled as he kissed her hand, feeling a blush come to her cheeks. She danced with him, looking up at him, "You are really good at this." She said, smiling as she rested her head against his chest for a moment. Mariska giggled when he spun her then looked up at him when he pulled her in. Mariska placed her one hand on his cheek, kissing him softly. She closed her eyes when she felt the softness of his lips and how they felt perfect against hers.

"I know." he teased, his feet moving quickly as they pranced around her living room and around the couch, pulling her hand out and spinning her before pulling her in again, an he even dipped her before linking his fingers with her and pulling her out and in again. Left, right, left left. The kiss felt so natural he ignored it, still spinning her here and there moving to the music unaware of the surroundings. For once, he felt normal without the maids and people dressed in fancy ruffled dresses. He was just another guy in America with no paparazzi to follow him.

Mariska smiled against his lips, pulling away slowly. She shook her head, "I'm sorry." She said. She knew that she was probably rushing things. She looked up at him, still holding his hand, moving with him. He was so perfect and everything felt like a dream. "I'm probably moving too fast for you. It's the wine." She said as she stepped back from him. She didn't want to ruin things with James because she really liked him.

James stopped moving, his palms sweaty against hers from all the dancing. "That was fun." he pulled his hands away, coughing awkwardly and wiping his hands on his jeans. "However, it is getting late." he picked up his jacket and walked over to her, leaning down and placed a peck on her pink cheeks. "Thank you for the dance." he whispered in her ear, helping himself out.

Mariska smiled as he kissed her cheek. "Thank you." She whispered. She watched as he left, "Be careful going home." She said as she leaned against her doorway. She watched as he left then smiled to herself after she shut the door.

[Did you want to skip to like them on their first official date? I'm overly excited for her to go home with him I was thinking maybe they go back and get settled in and his mom has a small party to introduce her and what not. Then the next day his father takes the to the derby. :)]

James drove home safely, the wine not impacting him on the road. When he got to his apartment, he took the stairs before going inside and calling his mom, telling her about a girl she met. She was thrilled America was doing him some good, but she didn't appreciate the fact that she had no royal or wealthy bloodlines. He just sighed and agreed to things he silently disagreed to, because she had the title hanging over his head with him and his brother. He went to bed, showered, then woke up forgetting to give Mariska his number.

Mariska woke up the next morning and got rrady for work. She sighed as she walked into the school, thinking about last night. She had really enjoyed hanging out with James and couldn't wait to see him again.

James brushed his teeth, groomed himself and chose his own outfit for the day. He decided to stop by the coffee shop in hopes of seeing Mariska there for her morning coffee. The same man took his order, but this time he told him hot water would be fine. He was about to order Mariska her usual iced coffee, but decided against it in case she didn't show up.

Mariska finished up work then walked into the coffee shop. She stood in line, running her fingers through her hair. She kept thinking about the night before with James and how wonderful he was with her. Mariska got herself an iced coffee then sat down at her usual table.

James was distracted at the gorgeous view out of the window, his long fingers wrapped carefully around the damp glass of water. That's when he heard her voice, ordering her iced coffee as he would have imagined. He wasn't sitting where she was, but he got up ditching his glass of water, going around the cashier and to the front of her seat. He took a seat casually, his phone in his other hand. Grinning, his eyes sparkled with humor. "Hi."

Mariska smiled when he sat down, "Hi." She replied. "How are you?" She asked as she ran her fingers through her hair. She took a sip of her drink, then looked at him. She liked seeing him because he seemed to make her day a lot better. His smile just made her feel good.

"Good. I was hoping to find you here.." he smiled back at her, suddenly feeling thirsty without his water. "Last night was fun, and I still haven't seen all of this town yet. I forgot to take your number." he looked embarrassed, and felt like a idiot for not thinking of it earlier. "Thank God I haven't lost you yet. I was worried for a second, but then I remembered the population of this town."

[Also i was thinking that once she goes to his country with him that they should have a masquerade ball ]

Mariska laughed softly at what he said. She gave him her number, "Are you busy tonight?" She asked him. She wouldn't mind hanging out with him again. "If not we could always go somewhere." She suggested. She rarely had plans anymore.

"I've got some things to do." he thought about his schedule. Even over shores, he still had lots of work to do as a Royal Member. "But, I can certainly spare some time." his charming eyes focused on her. "But you will have to make the plans."
