Starry Summer Nights

Nick moaned softly, he couldn't help it. Her lips where so soft her body so close to his amd free for the touch. Nick didn't know wherw to go from here but he knew he didn't want ro be anywhere else but with her. Nick smiled as he pulled back breathless. He smirked and kissed her breifly once more. Nick was quite please with this. "You are beautiful Atlas."

Embry smiled. "You know where to find me. Stop in any time... I mean it. Don't worry abot knocking or anywhing. The spare key is above the door." She said and kissed him softly once more. "I hope to see you again soon Josh." She said and ran a hand down his chest. "You better go before I can't stand to see you go." She said slowly untangling herself from him and sat down on the towel hugging her knees again watchkng the fire.

Atlas smiled up at him. "Thank you. You're rather handsome yourself you know," she said and unwrapped her arms from around his neck as she pulled back a bit, taking his hands in hers. "Ready to swim some more?" She swung their hands a little. "Or is there something else you can think of that you want to do while we're on this date?"

Before she couldn't stand to see him go? More like before he forgot that he needed to go and decided to just stay with her. "Well... I guess I'll see you soon..." Josh said as he stood up, looking over at her. Then, because he couldn't really think of anything else to do or say, he leaned down, gave her a soft kiss, and then turned around and walked back through the house to the street out front and then headed back to the beach he'd originally gone to. His friends had all left, apparently all piling in someone else's car, so it was going to just be Josh in his truck back home.

Nick grinned. "Swimming sounds great." He said smiling. She did hkng that made him feel like he had known her so , uch longer then a day. It was hard to beleive that this morning he had never laid eyes on this beautidul woman who held his hands, occupided his mind and was quickly startng to steal his heart. Nick broke away and swam around her and splashed her teasingly in the back. He smirked as he swam away quickly.

Embry was surprised as he kissed her gently before she left. She smiled and watched him go. "Dream of me." She whispered after she had heard him go inside. She picked up the towels and put out the fire. She smiled and headed inside. After she had eaten and finished up cleaning up she stripped off letting her wings out and putting on a special necklace just in case Josh came back early and saw her. She didn't want him seeing her wings. She closed her eyes as she lay in bed and grinned. Soon she fell asleep.

As Nick swam away after splashing her, Atlas smiled as she chased after him. She somehow managed to catch up, and when she did, she threw her arms around his neck, jumping on his back with a laugh. "I've got you," she said in his ear as he stumbled at first. She was having fun so far, to be honest... being the sort of fae she was, this was exactly the sort of thing she liked to do with her summer. Summer was exactly the time to be playful, but it was also the time for romance too.

Josh headed home, having to explain to his mom that he'd gotten sidetracked, though he said it was because of his friends rather than because he'd met a girl because... that really wasn't a conversation he was ready to have, nor willing at the moment. He had to nuke his dinner in the microwave since it had gone cold, and after he ate, he headed up to his room, thinking of Embry. And with the picture of her in his mind, he ended up dragging some paper and a pencil into his lap, and then he started to draw.

Nick laughed as he swam keeping them both afloat. "Yes, yes you do." He said and smiled. Nick was having a really good time with Atlas. "So tell me why did you ask me out tonight?" He asked. Nick smiled softly up at her. He felt like he had gotten lucky.

In the morning Embry woke and stretched. She fluttered out of bed and pulled her wings in taking her necklace off. She stripped and went inside and took a shower. She smiled as the water cascaded down her body. It wasn't long before she got out and dressed. She headed out to the beach putting her sand in the water pulling her sweater closer. Embry smiled loving the cool mist in the early morning.

Atlas giggled, laying her head against his shoulder as he just continued to keep them afloat. "Why, you ask?" She gave the best shrug she could while in the position she was in. "I suppose you could call it intuition, Nick. That's the only way I know how to put it."

Josh stayed up later than he really should have, in order to keep drawing. He still managed to get it all done before he fell asleep though, and when he woke in the morning -yes, 11:47 was still morning- he woke to the picture still laying on the bed beside him. He stared at it for a long time. It was only Embry's head and shoulders, but it was also one of the best pictures that he'd ever drawn, or Josh thought so at least... and that was when he remembered invitation for him to come over any time... so he got up, got dressed, grabbed something to eat, grabbed the picture, grabbed his keys, and then hopped in his truck and made his way back to the little cabin she'd taken him to yesterday.

Nick smiked. "Just curious." He said and smiled at her explanation. "Hmm." He said in thought. It didn't tell him to much but he didn't want to think about it now. He had a beautiful and naked woman pressed to his back. Nick grinned as he thought about it. How lucky could one man get?"

Embry headed back inside making a quick breakfast and eating it outside on the small porch. She had her feet up on the rail and wathed the ocean thinking about Josh. He was so very sweet. She hoped this would be a good summer. She wanted to make it the best for Josh. He would probably never get another like it.

Atlas smiled, figuring he was probably going to be too distracted to even really focus on her answer to ask for a more specific one considering the position they were in right then. "So, I'm guessing you're enjoying this date as much as I am?" she asked, her mouth near his ear. Atlas knew there were other fae like her, who spent their summers -usually it was summer- entrancing mortals. Some had good reasons for it, or they claimed they did at least, but no matter what, they all had reasons. Some fae entranced mortals under the pretense of helping him, though she wasn't exactly sure if it ever actually helped the mortals... Atlas just wanted to show human boys a good summer, and unless there was just something seriously wrong, she did only choose one each summer.

When Josh arrived, he parked his truck outside the house and grabbed the picture as he walked up to the door. He raised his hand to knock, but paused as he remembered what Embry had said. In the end, the door was unlocked anyway, so he just let himself in, calling out for Embry since he didn't know the house or where she would even be. But then he looked out a window out back, and saw her sitting on the porch out there. So he walked out there, closing the door behind him, and smiled a bit at her. "Hey," he said, holding his picture behind his back for the moment.

Nick smiled and turned hem around so he could face her. He grinned and nodded. "Yes Atlas I am enjoying our date very much." He said happily. Nick rubbed her sides. "So now we have been swimming in the stars and the moonlight, how doyou feel anout wildflower picking?" He said smiling. "I heard it is a hunt to do it in the dark. Nick smirked just wanting to shower her in beautiful things.

Embry set her finished plate down and stood. "Josh!" She said happily and moved to him hugging his neck. She pulled back after a second. "What? What is it?" She asked noticing that he was acting strange. Embry bit her lip wondering what it could possibly be. But he seemed to be pleased with something so she waited for him to reveil what it was.

"Wildflower picking?" Atlas asked with a small smile. "I suppose I can give it a try." she leaned up and pressed a kiss to his lips. "I'll even give you a kiss if you pick more than me," she teased, running her hands down his chest. Really, if he thought picking flowers in the dark was going to be hard though, she really wasn't sure how they were going to get back to his jeep, considering it was a small hike through some dark woods. At least out here they had the star and moon light.

Josh couldn't really move to hug Embry back while holding the picture, because he was trying to keep it a surprise, but he did smile as she hugged him. "Well... I have something to show you. It's actually the reason I'm not here earlier, because I was up half the night drawing..." he pulled the picture out from behind his back and gave it to her. "It's really one of the best drawings I've done.. or I think so at least. But you asked me to draw you, and there it is," he smiled, waiting to see her reaction.

Nick chuckled and shrugged. He was just trying to think of something to do out here to distract him from her beautiful body. Nick had a flashlight in his bag but that wasn't his worry for picking wikdflowers, that was for later. Nick smiled as they trugged out of the water. He held her hand until hegrabbed the towel handing it to her so she could get dressed. He ran a hand over his hair and stretched just standing there dripping as he waited. When she handed the towel bach he quickly dried then dressed. He just put on his pants really. Nick smiled as they walked towards the flowers. "One of ever color." He said and smiked starting to look around picking a few and holding them to the sky to try and see it better.

Embry watched him and smiled as he said drawing. She squelled with delight seeing it. "You did this from memory?" She asked taking it and looking at it. She grinned. It was beautiful and very well done. He almost had her perfectly, but she wasn't as sweet as the picture presented her but still she was glad that was how he viewed her. Prehaps by the end of he summer he would sraw her again differently. Embry set it down and hugged him again glad when this time he did hug her back. She kissed his cheek and pulled pack picking up the picture and lookingat it. "This is amazing Josh." She said as she sat on the porch railing. She swung her legs lightly.

Even after she got dressed again, Atlas didn't bother with flip flops as they walked towards the flowers. "How many colors are there?" she laughed. She knew if she looked, she'd be able to see though. She could see better at night than mortals could, but she was old enough not to just go and pick the flowers she needed. She had to stumble around, which she did as she slowly started to collect wildflowers. She even picked a rather pretty purple one to tuck behind her ear.

Josh laughed, smiling as he saw Embry's reaction. Her squeal and grin pretty much told him that she liked it, and he was glad that he hadn't butchered the drawing honestly. He knew he was pretty good, but he wasn't that great. Still, this one had just seemed to come to him, so maybe that was why it was better than a lot of what he did. "Thanks. I'm glad you like it," he smiled as he hugged her back before she pulled back and sat on the porch railing. "You can keep it if you want, as well," he added since he didn't usually keep his drawings anyway.

"Uhh I dont know. Purple, pink, blue, white, yellow, orange, red... anything I miss?" Nick smirked looking over at her. He smiled seeing the flower tucked behind her ear as he got closer. She was so beautiful. Nick stood beside her and picked a yellow one. He smiled and added it to his collection. Nick smiled. "To bad I can't add you to my collection of flowers. You would just put he others to shame." Nick said chuckling at how corny he sounded.

Embry smiked and shook her head handing it back. "No you have to keep it, at least till the end of the summer." She said and took his hand pulling him close and kissing his jaw. She hugged him her legs on either side of his waist. She laid her head on his shoulder and grinned. "I really like it though." Embry said hoping to see many more of his drawings. She ran her hand down his chest then sat back looking at him. "So what do you want to do today?"

Atlas laughed, smiling at him. "I don't know if I would want to be a flower anyway," she said as she found a pink flower and picked it. "They smell good and are beautiful, but they only bloom once a year, then they're gone." Now, she only needed a red and a blue flower -then she'd have collected all the colors. "Also, as far as flower colors go... do green count?" she grinned at him.

"Why do I have to keep it til the end of the summer?" Josh started, trailing off as she pulled him close all of a sudden. Josh leaned over, setting his picture down before he straightened up again. "Well... how do you feel about going into town and doing something?" He asked with a light smile as he kissed her cheek. "We could go see a movie or...."

"What flower is green?" Nick asked picking an orange one. She was entirely beating him and he didn't care. She seemed to be having fun, or at least having fun teasing him. Nick didn't care as long as he got a kiss at the end of the night he would be flying high. Nick smiled as he walked over to her and cupped her cheek. "You might be right though. I wouldn't want you to bloom only once." He said and kissed her.

Embry smiled softly. She wrapped her arms around him. He had no idea what would happen at the end of summer, and she hoped he wouldn't find out. "To town." She said thinking of all the metal. She made a face but smiled softly afterwards. "What would we go to see?" She asked and ran her hand through his hair and smiled as she wrapped her legs around him. She didn't really get movies. It was like an excuse for humans to not look at each other for 2 hours or so.

"The ones that are still buds and haven't bloomed yet," she answered with a smile. She looked up at him as he walked over close, raising her eyebrows. She'd barely had time to smile at his words when he kissed her though, and she was still smiling when he pulled back from the kiss. "Couldn't wait until we saw who got all the colors first?" she asked. She let her flowers go then, and pulled his head down so she could give him another kiss.

"Uhh, I suppose that would depend on what you're interested in seeing? If you're interested in anything that's out..." Josh offered, his hands moving around her waist as she wrapped her legs around him. He might've noticed the fact she'd made when he mentioned going into town if she wasn't so distracting, but...

Peter chuckled and smiked. "Why should we wait?" He asked confidently and dropped his flowers to grab her waist and pull her closer. He kissed her back his head spinning in delight. How did she do this to him? How did she turn him into this romantic fool that only wanted to please her? When they pulled back he cupped her cheek and looked down into her eyes his forehead resting on hers. "Youwin as long as I get another kiss." He smirked knowing that then he would win no matter what because he couldn't loose when she was around.

Embry rubbed his chest then kissed his jaw. "So tell me what is out to watch?" Embry asked. She was surprised that he hadn't realized yet that she had no technology or a car at her place.she really hadn't ever gotten use to the pain of metal but she would live and could keep a straight face when touching it. Still who wanted to put themselves in searing pain if here was any other choice. Embry pulled back looking up at him. She was trying to think what else he might enjoy that they could walk to. She didn't want to go in the metal box they called vehicles.

(I'm gonna try posting at least once a week now xD School is doing its damnedest to make sure I have no free time though. Sorry it's taken me this long to get on track again)

Atlas had her arms wrapped around Nick's neck, and the fingers of one hand were even twined in his hair. She really hadn't wanted him to pull back from the kiss either, but he had... "I think I can make that happen," she smiled up at him and leaned up on her toes to give him another kiss promptly. It was soft and sweet, and she made sure to make it lingering as well, so that he wouldn't want it to end as she pulled back, smiling wickedly up at him.

Josh was honestly having a hard time thinking right then because of Embry. She was rather distracting (whether it was on purpose or not, he wasn't sure). So it took a little bit after she had asked her question for his mind to fully process what she'd said, and he briefly blushed because she was just staring at him by that time. "Uhh, I know of a couple of action/horror movies, but I'm not sure you'd like those... for anything else, I would have to look it up..." he said while giving no indication that he was actually willing to move right then. He seemed to be perfectly happy right where he was.

Nick groaned softly and chuckled. "Atlas you are driving me insane." He said and held her close to him. He didn't want the night to end. "No pressure here but i was just wondering if you might want to come back to my place?" He looked down into her eyes that reflexed the moon. She was akways stunning and he wanted to keep her.

Embry smiled and leaned up kissing him. She pulled back only enough to speak. "We could just stay here... or go out on the beach." Embry said her lips brushing his as she did. She kissed his lips again deeply her hands teasing the top of his jeans under his shirt. Her fingers where soft and teasing all at once. Embry smirked glad to be able to turn him to mush in her hands.

"Well, we can't have you going insane now, can we?" Atlas made as if to move away, but didn't resist as she let his arms draw her back to him. Their bodies were just barely touching with their closeness, and she swayed her hips back and forth with a gentle hum, though she quieted as he spoke. "And what would we do at your place?" she asked, continuing to sway against him once more as she turned her face up towards his.

Josh groaned a little into her kiss, his mind blanking out on the fact that she had said anything at all and she was probably going to expect a reply sooner or later. Instead, his mind was on kissing her back and the feeling of her fingers at the top of his jeans, and... and when had his hands found her hips and drawn her close?
