I smiled lightly at her and placed my hand on her back. "Lets go then." I said, thankful that it was still dark out. By the time that we arrived at the spot where the guys and I hung out the sun would be rising and she would be able to see the beautiful sunrise. I led her out of the house and over to my mustang that was sitting in my parents drive way.

Asher hugged her sweater to her body. It was a little chilly out but not too bad and the sky was ablaze with swirls of gorgeous pinks oranges and purples. "Woah, it's beautiful." She mumbled, following after Matt. She squeezed his hand slightly.

Matt
I smiled lightly and led her over to some stones that formed a starecase of sorts. I climbed up onto the large boulder and helped her up the stones so that she was able to get a full veiw of the ocean that reflected the beautiful sunrise.

Asher stumbled trying to get us the stones but luckily Matt helped her regain her balance. She finally reached the top she looked out over the sea, watching the colors reflect off the water. She felt herself shover. "Why have I never seen this before?"

"Because you never dared to explore the world outside of the saftey of your own home" I said to her. I pulled her close and wrapped my arm around her in a comforting way. "I have a question for you." I said to her. "Hmm?" She said as she looked up at me. "Would you like to go out with me on Friday night?" I asked her

Asher smiled broadly, "That's true." She looked up at him with big eyes as he asked her out. "I-I Well yeah-I mean sure. Whatever l " She stammered, feeling her cheeks flush.

I chuckled lightly and looked at my phone to see what time it was. "We should get going. School's going to start soon. Wouldn't want you to be late, and I have to pick up the guys to." I said to her as the sky started to lose it's pinkish color and turn more of a cream color. I got off the rock and held my arms out for her so that she could jump and I would catch her. "Don't worry, they're nice once you get to know them, Brian will most likely try to flirt with you though."I said to her.

Asher couldn't help but laugh at his discription of his friends. She stepped forwards so that she would fall into his arms but not drag him to the ground. "I'm sure they're find. I'm curious to see what kind of people you hang out wi th anyway." She smoothed out her clothes.

I chuckled lightly, " People your parents would not approve of" I said to her. " But hey, they're good guys." I said leading her to my car. I opened the door for her and once she was in, I got in and began to drive to Zack's house where they would all be waiting. When I pulled up Jimmy had a blunt in his hand and they all began to run towards the car, Jimmy was about to get in but I looked at him. " Ditch the weed. I'm not gonna have her get in trouble" I said to him. He groaned before finishing it and throwing it out onto the street. Once he got in everyone began to talk about practice after school. " Um, guys. I got kicked out. There isn't going to be any practice for a long time" I muttered quietly.

Asher stayed quiet during the ride to go pick his friends up. She had her head pressed against the window of the passenger side window. When they pulled up to Zack's house, her expression brightened. She laughed at his friends excitement and then frowned when Matt said there would be no practice. "Don't say that. You guys can practice at my place. I'm sure my parents won't mind at all."

I looked at her. "Really?" I asked her. "We would need a space to practice. And we're very loud as you've most likely heard." I said to her, glancing at her as I pulled into the school parking lot. "Yeah. I mean, you're staying there anyway" She said to me. "Thank you so much Asher" i said. I pulled into the school parking lot and got out of the car. I opened her door for her and helped her out, watching as the guys got out and began to light another blut. "Do you want a hit?" Jimmy asked, handing it around the groip until it reached Asher.

"No problem." Asher said as she slid out of her seat. She stretched her arms up above her head, listening quietly as he and his friends chattered. They were passing around something now and she watched curiosly. When the blunt reached her she didn't know what to say. "Um..no thanks.. I don't smoke." She said shyly.

I chuckled lightly before taking the blunt from Jimmy's hand before taking a long drag from it. Weed never really affected me anymore, I just did it becaise I could. "If your parents wonder why you smell like weed just tell them you had to walk through the stoner pit" I said to her. "I dont want you to get in trouble." I said to her. I heard the bell ring and I looked at her. "Perhaps we should get to class"

"Good idea." Asher tossed her backpack over her shoulder. She took Matt's hand and led him towards the front steps of the school. She hadn't really noticed until now that they had first period together. We'll actually, now that she really thought about it, maybe she had. She remembered staring at him from the back of the room when she was bored. They hadn't actually talked in like forever.

i let out a soft sigh as I heard people murmur about why a "loser" like Asher was doing with a "popular guy" like me. "Damn Matt, stooping down to sluts? Can't you do any better?" Some asshole on the basketball team said. I felt my blood boil and I spun around and slammed my fist into his face, hearing a sickening crunch, signaling that I broke his nose " She is not a slut!" I yelled in his face. "She is a hell of a lot better than that, and a hell of a lot sweeter. And if you ever say anything that is rude, disrespectful or hurtful towards her ever again a broken nose will be the least of your worries. Do you understand me?" I snapped
