Give Me One More Try. [Closed]

Addie nodded her head. She was happy when the day was over and then frowned when she saw Marie was there... Stupid Easton. She hated his family so much. "Hi Marie... How are you?" She asked gently, looking down at Hayden in her arms. She barely remembered that Hayden had other grandparents than her parents. She sat down, knowing it would be disrespectful for her to leave - especially with her child here.

Marie looked at her, handing Hayden to her. "I was just stopping by before i went to work. I've only seen him once in the last month." She said as she ran her fingers through her hair. "I should get going it was nice seeing you again." she said. She walked out of her house then Addie's mom looked at her. "You need to quit being so bitter Addie." She said as she stood up.

Addie smiled down at Hayden, cradling him in her arms and she nodded. "Yeah, I understand." She said, managing a smile. "It was nice seeing you too." She frowned when her mother scolded her and she shook her head. "What do you want me to do? Forget that the boy who knocked me up cheated on me and then insists that he wants to be a good father? A bad boyfriend is never a good father!"

Her mom frowned, 'Well honey unfortunately your bad boyfriend is." She said. "I told Marie we would be over for dinner tomorrow night and you will go." She said. "No matter how much you hate Easton you still have to worry about your son." She said. Her mom walked out and Emily looked at Addie. Easton got to his house that night after practice and took a shower then laid on his bed. He was glad tomorrow was a saturday.

Addie frowned and shook her head. "You have got to be kidding me!" She rocked Hayden. "You can't be sending me to their house! I can take care of my son just fine!" She frowned and then shook her head. "Can you believe this?!" She asked in annoyance. She didn't want to go to his house!

Emily looked at her, "At least your mom is going with you." She said. The next day Easton sat in his room, working on his calculus homework. He sighed as he rubbed the back of his neck. He was completely unaware of the act that Addie and her parents were downstairs. Easton sighed as he continued to work on his homework. He heard his mom call for him, setting his stuff down. Hayden walked out of his room, then stopped at the top of the stairs when he saw them.

Addie frowned lightly when the time finally came. She had always loved going to Easton's house - but not anymore! Now she despised that place! Getting out of the house with a small baby was always a challenge of course, but she carried him in the car seat, faking a smile as his mother greeted them and she got Hayden out of the car seat for Marie to hold. She frowned when Easton saw them and looked away.

Easton walked downstairs, looking at his mom. He had never expected her to do something like this. Marie handed Hayden to Addie, i'm going to go start dinner." She said. EAston frowned as their parents left them alone standing there in the room. He looked at Addie then looked down at the floor, not sure what to say. Easton looked at Hayden and smiled at his son.

Addie frowned and sighed exasperatedly as their parents left and she shook her head. What' was this?! An intervention?! It wasn't fair. "I never got to say thank you, for picking up my books yesterday..." She said softly and then looked away. That was the extent of it - she really had nothing else to say to him except "screw you."...

Easton shook his head, "You don't have to." He said as he took Hayden in his arm. He smiled as he looked at his son, "Hey buddy." He said as he kissed his forehead. Easton was glad that he finally had Hayden in his house for once. Easton looked at Addie, "Why are you and your parents here?"He asked.

Addie smiled lightly and nodded her head. She smiled as he took Hayden. He loved his daddy... And that made things even worse! Even at three months old, Hayden got all smiley when he saw daddy. "Your mom didn't tell you? She visited yesterday... And invited us to dinner..." Hayden gurgled and she smiled. "He sure loved his daddy." She said in a dim voice.

Easton shook his head, "No she didn't believe it or not i really don't have time to sit down and chat between work, football, advanced placement classes and being dad," He muttered. Easton looked at Hayden and kissed the little boy on the cheek. He would chose anything over his son any day.

Addie sighed a little and shook her head. "Easton - don't yell at me!" She said and crossed her hands. "I get it - you're busy - so am I! And I didn't even say anything insulting - you don't have to be angry." She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, feeling weird without holding Hayden.

Easton put Hayden down in his bouncer and leaned back against the couch. "I'm not angry with you Addie i'm just upset with everyone including myself." He said as he ran his hand over his face. "I'm tired." He muttered as he closed his eyes. He was worn out physically and mentally anymore. He was just sick of it all anymore.

"I'm tired." He muttered as he closed his eyes. He was worn out physically and mentally anymore. He was just sick of it all anymore.

Addie sighed and shook her head. "Upset? Why are you upset Easton? What do you have any right to be upset about?!" She asked, still angry. And she would let him have it if that was what he was asking for! She was tired too. Tired of putting on a happy face when the only thing that made her happy had ruined her.

Easton glared at her, "Addie you don't know my life so don't act like it is about us." He said. "I get it you are still pissed off and that i completely ruined everything, but just stop." He said. He stood up and looked at her, "Okay...just stop." He said.

Addie rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Whatever." She muttered under her breath and then watched Hayden, smiling lightly. She remembered being so happy to be pregnant, even if they were young... And he had been so happy too. She just didn't understand why it happened.

Easton frowned, 'See there you go again, shutting me off." He said. "Why is it when i want to more on you decide that you would rather go and pout?"He asked. Easton sighed then crossed his arm. If it wasnt Hayden he didn't know what would happen with them.

Addie looked up at him in confusion and shook her head. "That's what I'm trying to do - I'm trying to move on. I'm trying to be a good mother and forget about you. What do you want from me Easton?!"
