Give Me One More Try. [Closed]

Addie looked at him in annoyance. "A grudge?! You're mad that I'm holding a grudge? It's not a grudge! It's pure and utter hatred for the guy who broke my heart and left me knocked up! I'm sorry that it's not so easy to get over!"

Easton glared at her, "Get out of my house Addie." He said. He crossed his arms then watched as she walked out of his room. He sat in the chair and started on his homework again.

Addie rolled her eyes lightly and shook her head as she left. She hated him so much... Why couldn't they just talk? Or maybe she didn't want to... She just hated him and wanted to know why he had done what he did...

Easton walked into school the next day, not saying or even looking at Addie. He usually asked about Hayden but right now he couldn't even stand her at all. Easton leaned back against his seat as she stared forward at the board as teh teacher taught.

Addie was glad they weren't talking. She didn't care. It was better than pretending they were civil towards one another... She sighed slightly as she sat in class. Maybe he would stop coming around then... Only in her dreams...

Easton left school that day then went to his house. He went to his room, starting on his homework.

Addie was surprised that Easton hadn't come over. He was probably mad... She had been mean - but of course. I guess Hayden will want to see you... She texted, trying to mediate things.

Easton looked at his phone, not answering her text. He looked back at his work and tried to think of something other than Hayden. Easton sighed as he stared down at the paper in front of him.

Addie nursed Hayden and then shook her head. Really? He was going to leave his son over a simple fight? That made her angrier - because this was all his fault!

Easton sighed, I'll come see him when you aren't around He sent the message then looked back at his work. He didn't want to be anywhere near her at the moment.

Addie looked at his text in disgust. No - that's not how this works. You don't get to make the rules Easton. You lost that privilege. I'm here - I'll go upstairs or whatever, but it's on my terms! She wouldn't compromise about that.

Easton shook his head as he looked at the phone, Then you won't be seeing me. Have a nice life Addie. Feel free to send me the child support papers in the mail. He sent them then looked back at his work.

Addie rolled her eyes when she saw his message. Are you fucking kidding me Easton?! Grow up! You have a son! That's your problem you know - you never make the right choices. If that's the way you feel, I was fine before you and I'm fine now!

Easton frowned then threw his phone across the room, watching it hit the wall. He leaned back against his seat, running his fingers through his hair. He rested his forehead against the desk.

Addie sighed a little as he didn't respond and she sighed. Why was he so annoying? "Your daddy is being stubborn..." She said as she picked Hayden up as he fussed and she cradled him in her arms. "Why does your daddy not love me like he loves you?" She frowned and kissed his forehead. "But I'm glad he loves you... Just like I love you... And we're going to be alright... With or without daddy..."

Easton laid down on his bed, staring up at the ceiling. Easton closed his eyes then slowly started to fall asleep. Easton pulled the covers closer as he tried to fall asleep.

When hayden fell asleep again, Addie got ready for bed. She knew he would be up in a couple of hours again, so she needed her rest... It upset her that Easton was so ready to throw everything away - but that was nothing new, was it?

Easton sat in class the next day, not paying attention to Addie. After school he went to practice then went to his house. His parents weren't home so he just made himself something simple to eat then sat in the living room, watching tv.

Addie couldn't believe him. He was being true to his words and not coming over. That annoyed the hell out of her. And tomorrow she was going to do something about it. She went and found the papers for child support and she was going to get what she needed and that was all. "Daddy still loves you, i promise you baby." She whispered to Hayden.

Easton woke up the next morning and stared at his ceiling. He was glad he didn't have school that day. He ran his fingers through his hair and rolled over, burying his face in his pillows. His parents were still out of town so the house was quiet.
