Give Me One More Try. [Closed]

Addie sighed as she got ready. She was wearing tight skinny jeans and a sexy tight top. She wasn't dressing to impress or anything - just so she felt sexy for herself. She had her mom watch Hayden and then went off to Easton's house. She knocked on the door. She was taking care of this now.

Easton rolled his eyes, hearing a knock on the door downstairs. He walked downstairs, only wearing a pair of basketball shorts. He looked out the window groaning when he saw Addie, "Fuck me." He muttered to himself. He knew she was going to bitch at him. Easton opened the door with a fake smile plastered on his face. "Addison what can i do for you on this beautiful Saturday?" HE asked as he placed his hand in the doorway so she couldn't come in.

Addie rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Quit the act, asshole. I don't like you and you don't like me - so let's forget it." She said softly, though with a stern voice and then stuck the papers out to him. "Just sign this. That's all I need is your signature and then it's done. I filled the rest out so you didn't have to worry your pretty little head about it." She rolled her eyes. She couldn't deal with him.

Easton glared at her, ripping the papers from her hands. He walked away, leaving the door open if she wanted to come in. Easton sat at his kitchen table, reading over the papers that were in front of him. He clicked the pen in his hand as he continued to read. He couldn't help but only feel anger for her right now. He just wanted to let it out, but he always held everything in. It was how he got through his life anymore. Easton bit his bottom lip lightly as he thought about Hayden. He loved his son more than anything and he knew what it was like not having a dad. Well he did for awhile until his mom remarried.

Addie followed him in, closing the door and she shook her head. She crossed her arms as he read through it all and she finally sighed in exasperated annoyance. "Come on Easton - just sign the papers. This is what you asked for. It's nothing you don't know. No gimmicks. No tricks. It's simple. Child support. That's all. And you'll be out of his life." She was annoyed with him. He was so cold to her... When once...he was the best thing that had ever happened to her. What had happened to that?

Easton looked at her, his eyes dark from how mad he was right now. "Why are you being such a bitch lately Addison?" He asked. He was pissed and he couldn't keep from saying awful things right now. "Never mind." He muttered, not wanting to hear her response. "I'm not signing the paper so you wasted your time coming over here." He muttered as he stood up and ripped them up. He threw them in the trash then walked into his living room to get away from her.

Addie rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Why do you think Easton?!" She asked in annoyance after he had ripped up the papers. "It couldn't possibly be because you're the jackass who ruined everything, could it be?! No - you're too high and mighty for that, aren't you? I would prefer it if you just paid child support! Then I wouldn't have to worry that my son will ever turn out like you!" She screamed angrily.

Easton turned glaring at her, "Get the fuck over it Addison! You think i don't know that i fucked up! I'm pretty fucking aware of it and i don't need you reminding me everyday! I don't need you watching over my shoulder when i'm with my own kid either!" He yelled at her. 'Don't you dare try to make it seem like i'm a bad father because you know that's a fucking lie!" He screamed at her. "I get it i'm not what you wanted and this didn't turn out how it was in that pretty little head of yours but i will be damned if you brainwash my kid into thinking that i'm some asshole because i'm not!" HE yelled at her. He glared at her, not knowing what else to say. Easton sat on the couch, sinking back into it.

Addie softened slightly, but only because of the tone in his voice and she sighed, shaking her head. "I don't think you're a bad father... I don't - I only think that you're the useless stereotypical player that you pretend you're not... And you did a damn well good job of convincing me that for a long time... But that's all you are... I'm only trying to protect my son... Because just like with me, one day you're going to wake up and realize that this wasn't what you wanted - and you're going to leave. And I'm going to be the only one who understands how bad that hurts from a boy who says he would never hurt you." She walked out then and slammed the door, crying. She would get over it. She hadn't come to grips with it yet, but she would.. Eventually.

Easton frowned when she walked out, then followed her. He caught her door with his hand when she went to shut it. "I'm not going to leave him." He said to her, looking at the tears slipping down her face. He moved so he was knelt down near the car, so they were eye level. "Hey, Addie. Look at me." He said, softly. He frowned, "Ads." He whispered as he let his hand rest on her legs. "I'm sorry okay. I'm sorry for everything. I'm sorry for hurting you and cheating." He said. "I'm really sorry for cheating on you when you needed me."He said. He let his hand rub her thigh lightly, "I'm sorry for being a dick and not paying attention to you when you needed me. I'm sorry for not being careful and getting you pregnant even if Hayden is the best thing that ever happened to us." He said. He rested his forehead on her arm, "Please Addison i'm so sorry." He whispered. He pulled back, looking up at her as she sat in the driver's seat. He let his hand grip her thigh, "You are amazing and i ruined everything. It's my fault, all of it." He said. "I was just to dumb to realize how lucky i was to have you." He whispered. "Please Addison stop crying." He said as he let his other hand take hers. "I won't leave Hayden i promise i wouldn't do that and you know it." HE said.

Addie was surprised that he followed her and she looked away. She hated crying in front of him... She always had. It made her feel so weak in front of him and the last thing she wanted was to be weak in his eyes. He was finally standing here apologizing to her and she didn't know what to say. It wasn't fair. She felt like she was so conflicted about it. He sounded genuinely sorry yet she knew that he could never be. She knew that he was always bad news. She should've known that the first time she had ever been with him. She listened to all of his words and shook her head. "I thought you promised me that too... You promised me that you would never leave me... Just why? Why did you have to sleep with her? Why wasn't I good enough?!" She grew angrier now, remembering it. His hand was in her but it felt foreign and unfair. "Please let me go..." She whispered, trying to pull her hand away from his, looking away from him completely.

Easton frowned as he go mad, "Addie." HE said when she told him to go away. He continued to hold her hand, "I just made a dumb mistake and i'm still here for you." He said. "You were good enough i was just too dumb to see it." He said. He held her hand in his, not wanting to let it go. "Please Addison don't be mad at me forever." He begged as he kissed the back of her hand. He looked at her again, letting his eyes meet hers. He wasn't putting on an act for her, he had been holding all of this in for so long. "Addison say something." He said, "Anything, just don't be mad at me." He said.

Addie sighed lightly and shook her head. "That's not fair..." She said as he looked up into her eyes and she shook her head. ""I'm a selfish bitch I know... But I hate that Hayden is the only reason you're like this. If it weren't for the fact that I'm the mother of your son, you never would even glance at me again... I know that for a fact - and I hate you for it'! It's not fair... All the lies you've told me. It's not fair!" She was frustrated.

Easton frowned, "Addie i would still feel bad about this even if Hayden wasn't here." He said. He held her hand tightly, "Everything is going to be fine and i just need you to me another chance." He said. He looked at their hands then looked at her. "I just want things to go back to the way they were before." He explained. "I know this is hard for you to even think about doing." He said.

Addie looked a little skeptical as she looked down at her hand in his hand and she frowned. "How can you even think like that?" She asked in a gentle tone and then sighed. "And what exactly is the way things were before? The way when I was starstruck in love with you. You could do no wrong... And you cheated on me behind my back just because you couldn't? I can't go back to that." She paused as she sobbed. "I want you to be in Hayden's life... But maybe it's better if you're left out of mine... We were never meant to be a family all together..."

Easton frowned, "No i want to go back to when we were both in love with each other and none of this other stuff mattered." He said. He shook his head, "I can't just be in Hayden's life and not yours. It doesn't work like that because i can't look at you everyday and know that deep down you hate me for what i did." He said. "I hate seeing you this upset and i know i'm the reason." He said.

Addie frowned when he spoke again and she hated that he was saying this. She couldn't go back to loving him. She just couldn't. He had hurt her and she didn't want that to happen ever again. Hayden was the only man in her life now. She cried even more knowing he wanted what she had hoped for all along - and that she just couldn't do it. "It doesn't work like this either... You can't just say that you're sorry and expect me to fall in love with you again - because I can't! I won't! Why would we repeat terrible history?"

Easton looked at her, "It's not going to repeat itself." He said to her. "Why can't you just let me try to prove you wrong?" He asked. He held her hands and looked up at her. "Please Addie do you really want Hayden to have to deal with us always arguing?" He asked.

Addie frowned a little and shook her head. "Because I don't want you to prove me wrong... I want to continue hating you and making your life miserable for what you did to me!" She said honestly. "I spent nine months carrying your child, yet none of that mattered in one night when you fucked some slut who still won't let me forget it. It's not fair... And I'm not just letting you off! I have been in pain since I found out... It made giving birth to our son a melancholy event because I knew I had to share him with you... I'm selfish, but I'm not ready to get hurt again - ever again."

Easton glared at her, "So that's your plan? To make me miserable for the rest of my life?' He asked. He shook his head, "You need to let this go.' He said softly. He stood up, "You aren't even the same person anymore." HE said. He never thought that Addison would do this to him.
