Bucky nodded "he deserves to be happy after everything he's been through hr needs to get out and have a life" Bucky finished his wine and stood up "did you want more wine? "

Ans took his hand and led the way to her apartment building as they walked quietly. Once they arrived Ana turned to Steve and smiled sweetly "thanks for tonight I had a great time" she walked to him and kissed his cheek.

Brooke watched Bucky stand up she nodded in agreement, Steve had been through a lot he well and truly deserved some happiness, "Yes please," smiled Brooke as she picked up her wine glass.

Steve was feeling very content when Ana took his head as they headed to her apartment. When they arrived and Ana kissed Steve on the cheek he couldn't help but blush a little, "Same," added Steve, "I will let you know about the next date as soon as I can." Steve then took Ana's hand and gentle kissed it.

Bucky smiled wnd grabbed her cup and walked to the kitchen pulling out the red wine. As he hummed Bucky poured wine into glasses and headed back to the living room. "Here you go" he smiled handing Brooke her glass

Ana smiled sweetly at Steve "okay let me know soon then" she felt her cheeks grow pink when he kissed her hand. "Good night" she ssid before walking into her apartment.

"Thank you," smiled Brooke as she took the glass from Bucky and took a sip. The day had been a turned around to say the least. Yawning a little Brooke glanced at her watch she would have to be heading home soon, she had been at SHIELD early in the morning.

Steve watched as Ana walked into her apartment to make sure she got in safety once satisfied he turned around and began to head back to this apartment. On his way back Steve passed an variety hall and advertised on one of the boards was a decade dance, Steve couldn't help but chuckle. There were some leaflets and Steve took one. By the time Steve was entering his apartment complex he had read the leaflet. A week on Wednesday, at the hall he passed and it was 50's dance, not a 70's or 40's like they both hoped but still it was a dance none the less. Steve would have to make a call when he got into his apartment, he would also suggest the idea to Bucky.

Bucky smiled and took a sip out of his wine, he was glad things turned around, in her defense though Bucky did over react and he didn't mean to he knew better. This was after all not her fault that he was in this situation. "That was a great movie, it's one of Steve and my favorites.

Ana sighed happily as her friend Emma stood inside tapping her foot on the hardwood floor, "he is a gentleman, he brought you home before 10, I'm impressed" she grinned. Ana rolled her eyes, "it was great, he was very sweet and polite and he even kissed the top of my hand" she gushed. Emma rolled her eyes, "I'm guessing he paid for your food too?" Anna nodded in response. "He's perfect, you should just marry him then" she teased. Anna shook her head, "hey, relax it was one date"

"You can't go wrong with a good Disney film," smiled Brooke, sipping a bit more of her wine. Brooke then reached for her phone turning it back on, she saw three missed calls from Jason but that was it.

Steve entered the apartment still holding the leaflet. As he walked to the living room he saw Bucky and Brooke drinking wine, something he did not except. "Hey guys," greeted Steve, "Date went great. I've just got to make a phone call! I'll be back in minute." Steve then headed to his room pulling out his phone to ring Ana.

Bucky nodded, "no you can't," he took another sip and his attention from Brooke moved up to meet Steve chuckling, "hey, well.. that's great.. see that Brooke he just got home and already he's calling his lady friend, you're going to have to introduce me sometime!" he shouted as he watched his friend walk into his bedrom. Bucky turned to Brooke, "this is new I've never seen him this excited over a girl, she must be amazing" he grinned.

Ana walked into her bedroom and changed into her pajamas, "so the rumors are true then, he is old fashioned?" Emma grinned. Ana turned around and shrugged, "I wouldn't call it old fashion he did grow up in the 40's after all that, and he's just a good person in general, really sweet and very charming" she nodded. Ana jumped when she heard her phone ring, "ooh I better leave you two alone" Emma teased. Anna simply rolled her eyes and grabbed her phone, "hello?"

Brooke started in amazement as Steve gave a quick greeting before disappearing into his room. "I guess Steve is done waiting around," chuckled Brooke in agreeing with Bucky.

"Hey, I know it's not even been an hour but I passed the old variety hall on my way back and there is a decade dance there a week in Wednesday, it's 50's so it will be new for both of us," Steve explained, once again Steve was hoping she would say yes. Something about Ana made Steve want to spend more time with her.

Bucky chuckled, and looked at Brooke nodding in agreement, "I guess he is, good for him, he needs someone as nice as him in his life,"

Ana giggled softly when she heard Steve on the other line, "it's all right, I'm glad you called. Oh yeah? That sounds fun, I'll have to get my 50's dress out then. I'll go, that sounds awesome" she was so excited to spend more time with Steve.

Brooke smiled as she finished the last of her wine. "I best be getting off, I am suppose to be going early into SHIELD tomorrow," explained Brooke as she got up from the sofa and began to gather her things.

Steve was beaming at her accepting, "good that's great to here, I will pick you up around seven next week then?" Offered Steve, "I was also going to ask my friend to come along, he is a fan of these dances and well he doesn't go out as much as I'd like him to, is that okay?"

Bucky nodded as he stood up, "did you want a ride or anything? I can walk you, it's getting late and I know you can handle yourself otu there, but I'd feel better if I took you home or something?" Bucky wasn't sure why he was feeling so protective over someone he just met not even a day ago.

Ana smiled as she lied on her bed talking and listening to Steve, "sounds great! Yeah, that's completely fine with me, the more the merrier" she looked at her ceiling smiling widely to herself, she was so excited about this, double date? She wasn't sure what it was but it'd be fun.

Brooke couldn't help but smile at Bucky, "If it makes you feel better Bucky feel free, but we are walking," smiled Brooke as she began to put on her leather jacket.

"Well I best go ask him, I will keep in touch during the week, bye Ana," smiled Steve, Steve waited for her reply before ending the call. After Steve left his room and saw the Brooke was leaving, it looked as if Bucky was going with her. "Buck, there is a dance a week on Wednesday, 50's you coming?" Asked Steve.

Bucky nodded, "yeah that's fine, I can handle that, as long as I have my phoen on me" he chuckled, putting it into his pocket. He looked up when Steve walked out looking happier than ever, Bucky knew whoever this girl was he'd have to thank her. Thank her for putting such a bright smile on his best friend's face, "yeah sure, whatever you want, did you want to come too Brooke?" he turned to her, "I don't want to be the third wheel" he chuckled.

Ana smiled, "okay, I'll see you next week then bye!" she hung up and sighed softly. She had just met the man earlier that day and already she was thinking about dating him, that was awful she shouldn't think that way so quickly.

Brooke paused as she watched Steve come beaming out of his bedroom and tell Bucky about the dance. This girl was something to Steve. Brooke looked at Bucky as he asked her, "Might as well, sounds like fun," smiled Brooke, it would mean she would have to go out and find something but that shouldn't be a big deal.

Steve smiled as his two friends accepted the offer. "Great, that's great. Well if I don't see you this week Brooke I will see you on Wednesday," beamed Steve as he went into the kitchen to grab and glass of water,he noticed his juice had finally been replaced.

Bucky chuckled at his friend's enthusiasm it was nice seeing him this happy, he didn't often get to see it in the 40's and it was nice to see it again, hopefully he'd see it more often with this new gal in his life. Bucky grabbed his jacket and slipped it on before letting Brooke out, "I'll be back in a few Steve" he shouted before they headed out. "He's really excited about this dance, it's not so much the dance but who he's bringing, he must really like her, I'm happy for him, no one deserves this more than he does"

Ana lied in bed happily, "you seriously need to find something 50s and cute to wear," Emma told her. Ana sat up and nodded, "I need to figure this out," she grabbed her laptop and opened it before typing away, "right now.."

As Brooke and Bucky left the apartment it was clear it had gotten a lot cold in a space of a few hours. "Yeah, I bet she is a right sweetheart," agreed Brooke, "But you too deserve some happiness Bucky, you haven't had it easy." Bucky had been through a lot and yes as such as Steve should have happiness Bucky needed it just as well.

Steve finished his water and it struck him that neither he or Bucky had anything suitable for a 50's dance. Steve went a got his laptop from his room which he was only just getting the hang off and did a quick google search for 50's dance attire.

Bucky nodded as he walked next to her, "she's gotta be if Steve's acting this happy, he's not really into some of the way girls act, very forward I think that scares him a bit" he chuckled. He looked over at Brooke and smiled, "well I'm glad you think so, I'm just not sure if dating is for me anymore" he chucked. Bucky just couldn't really relate to anyone anymore, he was different. "I'll find it with time I'm sure."

Ana looked through the internet for something she would like and smiled looking through some costumes humming to herself.

Brooke listened as Bucky talked, "You don't have to date, you just need to find some friends and go from there," replied Brooke, they weren't too far from her apartment, "and yes the way some girls act now can be a little scary but it is more normally know."

Steve found the ideal place, he would have to show Bucky when he got back.

Bucky sighed softly, "I know, I've made some friends with some of the ones that Steve's made maybe I should make friends outside of work" he laughed shaking his head. "There's still some nice girls out there though, I've noticed they all haven't changed, so that's good" he grinned. "So do you know how to dance to 50s music? I know I don't but I'm fast learner"

Ana showed Emma her dress "very 50's right? now I need my hair and shoes and make up done and it'll be perfect!"
