Luke looked at her. "That doesn't mean I can't make phone calls and stuff like that," he reminded her with a smile on his face as he held her close to him. "I'm not going to be leaving anytime soon, I don't think," he said honestly.

Brooke shuddered at the image of Calvin being shot at and for some reason, before she realized it, she had moved closer to him. Biting her lip, she reached out to touch him before letting her hand fall. "I..."

Lacey smiled and kissed him softly. "I'm just glad I get to spend this time with you." She said as she wrapped her arms around him. Lacey sighed as she tried to relax.

Calvin pushed her hand away, "don't act like you never thought about it." He said. Calvin sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair. He took a swig of his drink and sighed.

Luke looked at her and kissed the top of her head gently. "Yeah, it would be really nice if Calvin and Brooke weren't fighting all the time," he said with a sigh.

Brooke jerked back and glared at him coldly. She turned and left the kitchen. Walking up to their room, she shut and locked the door.

Lacey watched as Brooke stormed upstairs. "They fight a lot." She said softly. She looked at Luke then rested her head on his shoulder. She held his hands as she watched the tv. She was going to be sad when he had to go away again.

Calvin groaned as she stormed out of the room. He sighed as he walked after her. He knocked on the door, "Brooke open the door." He said. He knew he pissed her off and he didn't want to fight.

Luke chuckled softly. "A couple months ago, they were never apart. They could almost read each other's minds and now...well...you see what they are now," he said with a sigh as he held her close. "I never want to be that way with you," he said honestly as he kissed her forehead gently and rubbed her shoulders gently.

Brooke unlocked the door but didn't open it. Walking over to the bed, she sat on the edge of it and looked out the window. Running her fingers through her hair, she took a deep breath to calm down. She hated who Calvin made her become. She was emotional and impulsive and she hated being this way.

Lacey looked at him then straddled his lap. "We will never be like them." She said as he placed her hands on his cheeks. Lacey kissed him deeply, rolling her hips against his. Lacey pulled away slowly, "I love you." She said as she kissed him again.

Calvin sighed as he walked in, shutting the door behind him. "You know it's hard not to fight if you keep storming out like that." He said. He walked over to the window, crossing his arms. He looked out the window and sighed.

Luke wrapped his arms around her and groaned softly at the feeling of her rolling against him. "Jesus," he whispered against her lips as he continued to hold her to him. His hands ran down and cupped her butt as he kneaded the flesh and continued to kiss her. He held her close to him, wanting to always hold her in his arms.

Brooke watched him out of the corner of her eyes and sighed softly. "Well, it is easier for me to think when you aren't around," she said. He was like a drug, something she wanted but knew it was bad for her. She sighed softly and looked down at the scar on her arm that she had gotten the last time someone tried to kidnap her.

Lacey kissed down his neck then pulled off his shirt. She ran her hands down his chest as she kissed him. She moaned softly as she felt his hands on her. She pulled away slowly as she watched him.

Calvin looked at her, "Brooke you know that it has always been a possiblity." He said. He looked back out the window. "I just figured you wouldn't be so dumb as to think that It wasn't a possibility." He said

Luke looked up when she pulled away and he watched her for a moment. He continued to hold her to him gently as he peppered kisses on her neck and shoulders gently. "I love you," he whispered against her skin as he held her close to him, never wanting her to leave him.

Brooke turned and glared at him. "Of course I have known it was a possibility," she said before huffing and looking out the window. "I just didn't realize that you had already given up," she said. Pushing herself up, she grabbed her phone. "I am going to see if I can find anything out."

Lacey smiled as he kissed all over her, "I love you too." She said. She looked at him then slid off of his lap. She still hadn't had sex with Luke and she didn't want to push her boundaries. Lacey looked at her hands then looked at him. "Do you wanna bake cookies later?" She asked.

Calvin frowned, "I didn't give up on anything." He said. He grabbed her phone from her. "You are not calling him." He snapped. He didn't want her even thinking about calling that other guy. "I have everything under control." He told her.

Luke looked at her and rubbed a hand over his face. He nodded and smiled lightly. "Sure we can do that later but for now, I need to make some calls and take a cold shower," he said with a teasing tone as he leaned over and kissed her cheek before sliding past her and going into the kitchen to grab his phone.

Brooke looked at him when he took her phone and she glared. "Who said I was going to call him and you have no idea what is going on so how could you possibly have anything under control," she said as she moved to grab her phone back from him. "You know as much as I do which is nothing," she said.

Lacey sighed as he got up and left, then walke up to her room. She laid on the bed, reading the book that she had just go. Lacey got up after a bit, running herself a bath. Lacey stripped down and slipped into the bathtub. She continued to read her book.

Calvin frowned as he lightly pushed her back onto the bed. Calvin glared at her, "me and Luke will take care of it. You just sit here and stay out of it." He argued. "You are just here so you don't get yourself kill." He snapped at her.

Luke looked down at his phone and sighed as he began to call up people he knew he could trust. This was a really tricky situation and he wasn't willing to risk anyone's safety to get it dealt with faster. Sighing again, he ran his fingers through his hair as he waited for someone to pick up the phone.

Brooke glared as he pushed her. "If you recall, last time I listened and stayed out of it, I was almost killed. I don't need Luke and you to save me." she spat out as she reached for her phone. "I can survive fine on my own, as you know so don't pull the I'm going to protect you bull crap with me," she said.

Lacey got out of te bathtub and got dressed. She walked downstairs, hearing Luke on the phone. Lacey walked out on her porch, sitting on the porch swing. She wished that she could help them out more than she was.

Calvin frowned and threw her phone, watching it break against the wall. "You aren't calling them!" He yelled. "You can't take care of yourself! That's why you almost died last time!" He snapped. "For once in your life can you listen to me!" He yelled.

Luke sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair. "Understood sir. We will keep things under control on this end. There is nothing to worry about," he said. Although he winced hearing the yelling from upstairs. Maybe under control was a bit of an overstatement on his part, he thought. He looked out the window and spotted Lacey and smiled gently at the thought of her.

Brooke glared at him. "I almost died because they didn't know what they were doing. They led the Scorpions right to us!!!! I listened to every word they said and I still...." she trailed off as she wrapped her arms around herself. Sobs ran through her body as she remembered what had happened. Calvin had been the one to find her after she had escaped.

Lacey ran her fingers through her hair, then opened the journal that was in her hand. She began to write in it as she tried to get her mind off of what was going on. She hated seeing how stressed out all this stuff was making Luke.

Calvin sighed and sat next to her. He put his arm around her, "everything is going to be okay this time." He said as he rubbed her back. "I'm sorry about all of this." He told her. He didn't like to see Brooke hurting like this.

Luke nodded as he listened to the other person on the phone. Hanging up after a moment, he set the phone down and tried to get his emotions under control. This shouldn't be happening, he thought bitterly to himself before he straightened up and ran his fingers through his hair. He walked out onto the porch and sat down next to her. "What are you writing?" he asked curiously.

Brooke shoved away from him and got her breathing under control. Wiping her eyes, she looked at him with a glare. "Don't say that. You have no idea what is going to happen and now that you destroyed my phone, neither will I," she stood up. "You saw me at my weakest point but don't think that I am weak," she said. "I didn't ask for you to help me."

Lacey looked at him, "It's just my journal." She sai with a shrug. She closed it, looking up at him. She felt dumb for having a journal, but it helped her vent. She leaned back against the bench, "Everything okay?" She asked him.

Calvin frowned, "I don't think you are weak I just don't wan to see you get hurt." He said. Calvin sighed as he rubbed the back of his nec "Why is this so hard?" He muttered. He looked over at her, "I will make the call." He said as h stood up.

Luke looked at her for a moment and nodded. "Okay," he said as he smiled and leaned over to press a kiss to her cheek. "Anything interesting in it? he asked with a teasing smile on his face. He winked at her and kissed her gently. He really did love her.

Brooke watched him. "Why didn't you ever ask about what happened? You never asked what they did or how I got out?" she said as she watched him. She had always assumed it was because he thought she was dirty now and that made her pull away from him.

Lacey smiled at him, "That is for me to know and you to never find out." she said. She smiled when he kissed her cheek. She kissed him softly then pulled away slowly. "I love you." She said and rested her head on his shoulder.

Calvin sighed, "I didn't want to know." He admitted. He knew how harsh other gangs were. He didn't want to think about what they could have done to her. He stood up, watching her for a moment, "Unless you want to tell me." He said, crossing his arms.
