Lacey opened the door, walking into the living room. She looked at Brooke, "Are you okay?" She asked softly as she walked towards the girl. "Where's Luke?" She asked. She frowned when she heard where he went, "Why would he do that?" She asked.

Calvin walked into on of the hotels and used a false name to get a room. He went to his room, laying on the bed. He bit his bottom lip lightly as he thought about Brooke.

Luke sighed as he stood in the security office of the airport. They had threatened, brribed and forced their way into the office. Leaning against the counter, he scanned the computers, looking for any sign of Calvin.

Brooke looked at her. "He left to either kill Calvin or find some way to bring him back," she said as she leaned her head back against the couch and winced slightly.

Lacey frowned, "Are you okay?" She asked as she stepped towards her. She could tell that she got beat. "Why did they hurt you?" She asked.

Kyle looked at Luke, "what if he paid with cash?" He asked. He figured Calvin would be smart enough to do that. "Luke maybe we should go and you stay here." He suggested.

Brooke looked up at her for a moment. "Because i defended him," she said softly. "I don't know what Calvin is ding but if he doesn't stop, he is going to die," she said.

Luke looked at him for a moment and sighed softly. "No, I am going," he said firmly. He was going to try and keep his best friend alive.

Lacey bit her bottom lip lightly, "Will your dad hurt Luke?" She asked. She was worried about how serious this could get.

Calvin walked through the city and carried his bag with him. He walked into the small apartment he had and threw his things down. He smirked as he looked at the paper with all the money he had.

Brooke looked at her for a moment. "I don't know," she said softly as she pushed herself up. "I'm going to go try to clean up," she whispered softly.

Luke watched him for a moment and he sighed softly and ran his fingers through his hair. This sucks, he thought as he continued to walk with the people around him.

Lacey watched her, "Do you want me to help you?" She asked as she stood up. "Why would your dad do this to you?" She asked.

Calvin sat down, cleaning his gun. He was glad he was able to get away. He missed Brooke though and wanted her to be with him.

(So I was thinking...what if Calvin comes back a year later with his own gang and tries to take over the city?)

Brooke pushed herself up. "Yes," she whispered softly as she stumbled toward the bathroom. "He was angry," she said softly.

Luke sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. Fuck it all, he thought as he turned and followed the guys out.

(I think Lacey is closer but everyone still guards her. No, Calvin and Brooke did not keep in touch and that turned her into a cold hearted person. She is merciless now)

A year later.....

Lacey sat on the street corner as her feet dangled from the wall she was sitting on. She ran her fingers through her hair as she watched Luke talking to one of his friends. She looked over when she saw Brooke walking towards them. She had been pretty bitter since Calvin never came back. Lacey looked at her phone then looked over at the girl that was sitting next to her as she spoke. She was still hoping that Luke would take her out tonight like he said.

Calvin smile as he stepped into the airport with his bags. It was good to be back in america again. He walked with his bag over his shoulder as he made his way to the penthouse apartment he had. He kept his sunglasses on as he walked into the building. He had his new gang come up a week earlier and was ready to take was was suppose to be his.

Luke glanced over his shoulder at Lacey for a moment before he turned and looked at Brooke's approaching form. Although she had always wanted to leave the gang, when Calvin left, it had flipped a switch in her. "Brooke!" He called out. "Take care of this stuff. I am taking my girl out tonight," he said as he walked over to Lacey and took her hand. "Come on," he grinned at her.

Brooke rolled her eyes but fought to keep the smile off her face at the two of them. Turning back toward the other men, she saw fear in their eyes and she smirked. Good, they should fear her, she thought before she spoke, "there are rumors about Colombians milling about. Find out about it and fix it," she commanded simply as she turned and walked away.

Lacey smile as she took his hand. She walked with him, "I could have waited until you were done baby." She said as she looked up at him. "We wouldn't want your boss mad at your or Brooke." She said, laughing a little at the last part.

Calvin walked down the street with a few of his guys as he let his eyes scan the streets. He told them to fan out and get some information from people. Calvin frowned when he saw Brooke and he slipped into one of the alleys. He pulled himself up one of the fire escapes. He waited for her to pass then dropped down into the alley again. He smirked as he watched one of her eyes walk by. He grabbed the guy and pulled him into te alley. He stabbed him a few times then hung him from one of the fire escapes before leaving.

Kyle walked down the street to find Brooke but stopped when he saw a body hanging. His jaw dropped as he started to call Brooke. "Brooke we got a problem." He said as he saw Calvin's initials carved into the guys chest.

Luke looked at her before looking up when he heard footsteps running toward them. "Luke!" Trevor screamed and Luke sighed. "Sorry love," he said as he kissed her cheek and turned around. "What?" he asked Trevor with a raised eyebrow and Trevor grimaced. "We have a problem boss," he said as he ran his fingers through his hair. "Seems like Calvin is with the Columbians and he is pissed," Trevor stated. Luke's eyes widened and he growled lowly. "Fuck," he whispered before looking at Lacey. "Take her home and 24 hours protection," he said as he watched Lacey. "Sorry we couldn't go out tonight," he said.

Brooke looked at the swinging body for a moment before turning and looking around. It was Calvin's style, dramatic and making a statement. She looked for the point where he could have attacked before swinging herself onto the fire escape. She looked around and smirked when she saw a couple blood drops. Following them, they led to a bloody cloth and Brooke looked around again. If he wanted a game, she would give it to him. Turning around, she left to go get ready to go to the club. Some of her best informants were random club dancers.

Lacey looked at him, "It's okay, go." She said, motioning him to go with the guys. She watched as Trevor looked at her, then sighed as she walked to Luke's apartment with him. She hadn't really been staying at her house and her parents weren't too happy about it. Lacey sat down in the living room, staring at the tv. She flipped through the channels as she listened to the sound of Trevor's boots going through the house.

Calvin walked into his empty warehouse, fixing his shirt. He had sent one of his men to give Brooke the address to the warehouse. He knew she would inform her father and the other. So Calvin decided to make it a good time. Calvin sighed as he walked back into the office in the top of the warehouse. He had his men guarding from the top balcony that looked over the main floor. Calvin couldn't wait to see Brooke though. Even if he did leave her, he still want her.

Luke listened to Brooke's explanation of what happened when she was delivered the address. "I'm going," she said and he sighed softly. "Alright, but you will have some back up," he said firmly, ignoring her protest. After Brooke's father had been killed, Luke had fought his way to the top and Brooke was his trusted second. "We aren't taking any chances," he said firmly.

Brooke threw on jeans and a tee shirt before heading to the warehouse. She knew she was being watched as she walked up and opened the door. "Don't hide in the shadows Calvin," she called out as she stepped under a light. "Come out," she said. Her chest tightened at the thought of being close to him again even though she had told herself that she felt nothing for him anymore.

Calvin smirked when he heard Brooke's voice. He appeared on the balcony above them, letting his hands wrap around the bar. "Hi there." He said, smirking slightly. His arms were now covered in tattoos and his muscles were bigger. He smirked when kyle as if he was alone. "Do i look like full to you?" He replied. The sound of guns being loaded echoed through the whole warehouse. He smirked as his gang stepped out of the shadows. "How are you Brooke?" HE asked. He smiled at Luke, "Oh hey Luke. How's Lacey?" He asked.

Luke growled low at his old best friend. "Leave her out of this," he said as he grunted his teeth and took a deep breath. "what do you want Calvin?" he asked. He still couldn't quite believe the violence that his best friend was capable of.

Brooke gasped softly when Calvin stepped into the light. he had changed, she thought before she quickly dropped all emotion from her face. "I know you are no fool Calvin. Although I question it now that you are back in Chicago," she said as she watched him defiantly. She kew that a challenge was the best she could do right now, hoping to play on the idea that he still wanted her.

Calvin smiled, "What do i want?" He asked, thinking for a moment. "Oh right now i remember. I'm here to take the city from you." He said. Calvin smirked, "I was just hoping we could all get along, but if you get in my way i will not hesitate to kill you." He explained. "And i have you severely out numbered. " He said to them.

Luke growled again before snapping his fingers. Soon, Calvin's men were being overpowered and a gun fight began. Luke dove out of the fight and to the side. He knew Brooke would take care of herself as he dove behind a cart. Calvin underestimated him, he thought as he watched the gun fight and snuck out.

Brooke dove behind a crate as the gun fire exploded. She felt pain rip through her arm and she growled low. Fuck, she though as she pulled out her pistol and began taking accurate shots. She ran out of ammo and cursed as she pushed herself against the crate, ready to ditch this place.
