Seize the Day

Brian laughed nodding his head, "Yeah, you wanna come with me?" Brian smiled over at her.

Lucy let a soft smile spread across her lips, "I'd like that Jimmy. I'm free tonight." She said looking over at him.

Sage smiled, looking over at Brian, "I'd love to go with you to the studio." She said softly, leaning back in the seat. Anytime she could spend with Brian was worth it.

Jimmy got up and walked over to her, he carefully pulled Lucy into his arms, "Tonight should work out perfectly." He chuckled, kissing her forehead, "Where should I pick you up?" He asked.

Brian pulled over a second and looked at Sage. He took her hands into his own and smiled at her, "Sage would you go on a date with me?" Brian asked her. He let a slight breath escape his lips glad he'd finally had the balls to ask her this. He grinned a little hoping she'd say yes.

Lucy smiled up at Jimmy as she took and grabbed her pen and a piece of paper from her planner. She wrote her address down and smiled at him, "Here." She said lightly handing him the piece of paper. "That's my cell number and my address." She said looking at him.

Sage was thrown off by his question, she hesitated for a moment before smiling, "I would love to go on a date with you." She said softly, leaning over and kissing his cheek.

Jimmy grinned when he looked and saw her number and address, "I'll pick you up around seven thirty?" He asked, smiling over at her, still not believing that they were going on a date.

Brian grinned at her, "Are you free tonight?" Brian asked her smiling at her. He couldn't believe that she'd agreed to it. Tonight he'd be telling her how he felt about her.

Lucy nodded her head, "That sounds good to me." She smiled at him as she took and looked at him. "I have to go, I have another meeting in twenty minutes. Tell the guys we can work on the idea tomorrow?" She smiled at him.

She nodded, "Yeah, I wasn't really doing anything tonight, just going through some pictures, the same as always." Sage smiled as Brian continued to drive to the studio. Once they arrived, she got out and followed Brian inside.

Jimmy smiled, "Alright, I'll let them know and I'll make sure they're here tomorrow." He said, going back over to his drumsticks and twirling them in his hands like he did a lot when he was bored, "I'll see you later." He grinned.

Brian smiled as he got out and took and slammed his door shit. He walked over to Sage taking her hand into his as he laced their fingers. He began walking with her heading inside of the studio as he passed a woman coming out.

Lucy smiled at Jimmy as she took and left heading back to her office. She took and did her last meeting she had as she took and headed home. She had to get ready for this dinner date. She smiled to herself glad he'd asked her.

Sage smiled, a light blush crossing her cheeks when Brian took her hand. She had always wanted to have Brian's attention like this and now that she did, she couldn't believe it.

Jimmy watched as she walked out, once she was gone he started practicing with his drums again until he heard the door open and turned to see Brian and Sage. His eyes wandered to their linked hands, "What's all this?"

Brian took and grinned, "Just had a lunch date is all." Brian let go of Sage's hand sitting down on the small sofa with her. He took and smiled at her as he looked at Jimmy. "Who was that chick?" Brian asked.

Lucy finished doing what she needed and started on getting ready. She took and sat down looking over the ideas that Larry had sent to her for the video. They were all good but the meaning of the song and some of these ideas didn't go good.

Sage sat on the couch, pulling her phone out. She had kept in touch with Lucy, she sent a quick text. Whats going on with you and Jimmy? He's grinning like a kid at Christmas?

Jimmy didn't look at Brian as he spoke, "Well, she's working on our video with us, we all have to meet with her tomorrow. Oh, and before I forget that was Lucy." He said, not missing a beat as he talked and practiced.

"Wait a fucking second, Jim." Brian said looking at him. "The Lucy that broke your damn heart?" Brian asked curiously.

Lucy saw her phone light up and saw Sage's name appear. She read the message and smiled at Jimmy grinning. He asked me out on a date tonight. I said yes! I can't believe he did though. Their the new band I told you about last night that I am working with for their video. She sent the message back to Sage and grinned.

Sage smiled, looking down at her phone, not entirely listening to whatever Brian was saying to Jimmy. Aw! I'm so happy for you guys! I wish you would have told him before Leana and him got together :P she was awful to him...

Jimmy rolled his eyes, "Brian, don't start. She didn't do anything wrong, she was going to tell me how she felt about me years ago, but she found out that Leana and I were together..It's mostly my fault, so don't go blaming her."

Brian looked at him and sighed, "Yeah man I know. But..." Brian felt someone smack him in the head. He looked up seeing Matt, "Shut it up Haner." Matt warned him. Brian sighed nodding his head, "Fine." He said.

Lucy smiled at the message from Sage and replied back, Me too. If I had only listened to you that day and went to him beforehand. I hate her, I swear if I ever see her. I am going to stomp her ass. Lucy won't play so nice. I finally am getting a chance with Jimmy again. She isn't fucking it up. Neither am I.... So are you going to take my advice on Brian? About telling him?

Sage laughed a little, not entirely sure if she should tell Lucy or not. Well, you see, I haven't said anything to him yet, but he asked me to go out with him tonight, so I guess that would be the right time to tell him, huh?

Jimmy looked over at Matt, "Thank you." He sighed, "We're going to start working on the music video stuff tomorrow, she had another appointment that she had to get to, but Lucy said she'll be back tomorrow and we can talk about it then."

Brian looked at Matt seeing him nod his head, "Sounds good to me. Sorry about being late guys." Matt said sitting beside of Brian before hugging Sage. Brian looked at Jimmy seeing how happy he was, "Sorry man." Brian apologized to Jimmy for being a douche.

Lucy smiled squealing on the inside. That'd be the perfect time. I can't believe he asked you out, Sage. That's awesome!

Sage giggled softly, hugging Matt back before checking her phone. I know! It makes me nervous though cause I don't want to get my hopes up and end up ruining everything with him.

Jimmy shrugged slightly, "It's fine man, it's just that I've liked Lucy for a long time and now that I have her, it's nice, ya know?" He nodded towards Sage, who wasn't paying attention, knowing that Brian had liked her for a while.

Brian nodded his head to Jimmy and looked over at Sage. He smiled understanding where Jimmy was coming from with his situation with Lucy.

Lucy giggled at the message and smiled. I think he likes you more than friends, honestly.

Sage read the message, biting her lip gently, she hoped that Lucy was right. I guess, I just don't want to get my hopes up about anything though..

Jimmy nodded, "Speaking of, how are things going in that situation?" He asked quietly, raising an eyebrow.

Brian looked at Jimmy. He walked over to him so Sage couldn't hear. "We're going on a date tonight." Brian grinned sitting near Jimmy's drum set. "I just hope she feels the same about me, as I do her." Brian admitted to Jimmy.

Lucy frowned a little as she bit her lip. She was hoping Brian liked Sage like that as well. But she knew that he did by his action and flirting towards her. I am sure it will go great babe. Lucy tried to assure Sage.

Sage figured that she was right, sighing softly she glanced over at Brian and Jimmy. Why would he ask me out if he didn't like me? I'm just worrying about nothing...

Jimmy looked over at Sage and then back at Brian, "You have nothing to worry about, Brian. Just judging by the way she acts around you, I'm pretty sure she likes you, a lot."
