I nodded a little. "That must be the man grandfather is taking on as an apprentice." I murmured, shaking my head. "Are you going to sleep now? I wanted to go to the drawing room to see if I could be introduced, but I suppose it doesn't matter." I said, sitting down onto the chair.
She looked at her and sighed,"I wish they'd get off their high horses, you're family and I'll scream it from the roof tops if I have to," she told her.
I shrugged. "Rules are rules, no matter how much I disagree. You don't like rules, you always called them suggestions." I laughed, standing to be changed out of my dress.
"They are, they never tell me outright, elizabeth do not do that, it's always Elizabeth can you please not do this?," she smiled,"See suggestions," she said to her
I smiled a little, pulling on a robe. We still shared a room, since we spent more time in the others when we had them separately. "You'll be married off soon, and I'll visit you with my pet dog." I said, falling onto my bed.
"We'll find you a suitable husband," she smiled a little,"And he'll love you, and if he doesn't he can go chew on old mally's knickers," she giggled as she laid on her bed.
I laughed, shaking my head. "I have an inheritance because I'm not meant to marry. Any suitable man wouldn't want me and any man who would would lower my position in society. Another one of those guidelines that you hate so much."
I sighed. "He didn't seem to be a person worried only with money. And you're beautiful and charming. He will fall for you, and you'll have your life set."
I shook my head, hugging her back. "You know I can't promise that." I sighed, looking at her. "I am probably going to end up keeper of this house. I will promise to try." I said, looking at the ceiling. "I will try to do so."
