Luca Giuliani

Luca picked up his glass, taking a drink from it before raising an eyebrow. The pair were brave - it wasn't uncommon for civilians to get caught up in the crossfire between the two families, especially if they were in the same place. "What's your name?" He asked, curiously. It wasn't often that he found girls to be this interesting - it was a pleasant change and he wanted to know more about her.

Finn closed the bottle, eyes flickering up to meet his for a moment before she turned to put the bottle back on the appropriate shelf. "Finn Harper," she told him lightly, returning to her spot and picking up her glass, "And you?"

Luca took another drink from his glass while she spoke, shrugging off his suit jacket and placing it on the back of the chair. He never wore anything other than a suit - even at home. He could never be seeing in something so casual as a t-shirt. "Luca Giuliani," he replied, a smile on his lips. "How come you work here?" He asked, "Most young people are desperate to get out of Fiametta the first chance they get."

Ally was on her way home from making a drop to another regular's house. The guy was so coked up already he'd paid her twice as much as he could have. Not that she was complaining because she had to give a share back to her supplier anyway so the extra money was going straight into her savings. She checked her phone when she felt it vibrate in her jacket pocket - it was someone asking her to make a drop to a club that she wasn't too far from. Usually she didn't bother dropping in clubs because there was too much security around, but the guy bought from her a lot and sometimes shared a line with her so she couldn't really resist and started heading towards the club.

Finn kept her eyes on him as he shrugged his jacket off, lifting her glass to take another sip from her glass. "Well, Luca, I'm not like most young people." She stated simply. She didn't really feel like diving down into her family history and how she didn't know about anything outside of Fiametta. Living here was better than living somewhere she had no idea about. "But I will say that this is my home, and no matter how bad it gets, I'm standing my ground. I'm not letting some punks force me out. Uh, no offense," she said with a bashful smile, "I'm just not ready to leave it just yet."

Luca raised an eyebrow when she said she wasn't like most young people, finishing the last of the whisky in his glass. He couldn't help but grin when she referred to the families as 'punks' and let out a laugh, shaking his head. Wow, this girl really was something. It was refreshing to see someone stand their ground in front of him, instead of cowering when they found out his family's name. "Us punks have a habit of scaring people out of the city, so I'm glad we haven't managed to do that to you, Finn." He said, a playful smirk on his features.

"I'm glad you find this amusing," Finn murmured, taking a sip from her glass, "And for the record, you're more attractive than you are scary." She ducked her head in embarrassment as his brother let out a whoop and clapped his brother on the shoulder, talking about how he was rooting for them to get together now. "I only speak the truth," Finn finally said once she got the courage to look at Luca again.

Luca rolled his eyes when his brother let out a whoop, but couldn't stop himself from laughing slightly when he said they had to get together."You think so?" He questioned her, when she said he was more attractive than scary. He grinned at Finn when she finally looked at him. "Maybe you don't know me well enough," he murmured, a slight teasing tone to his voice. If only Finn knew half the stuff he got up to, but he didn't want to scare her away so soon, so he wasn't about to brag about it.

Finn shrugged and killed the rest of her whiskey, placing the glass in the sink once she was finished with it. "Good point," she said, moving a strand of hair from her face, "Maybe I could get to know you better and I'll see if my judgement still stands true. How's that sound?" Finn slipped a pen from behind her ear and motioned from him to give him her hand.

Luca was becoming more attracted to Finn by the minute. The confidence radiating off of her was something he wasn't used to in a girl - but he really fucking liked it. He placed his hand over the bar for her to write her number on, but he didn't want to spend the next few days waiting for a text or phone call. "What time do you finish tonight?" He asked. He didn't care if it was late - he had nothing better to be doing.

Darren mock groaned when he heard Devon's plan for shopping. "I really don't understand how you fit all that stuff into our house." He followed her lead towards the bar, opening it for her he ushered Devon in first and then followed.

Devon entered the bar, shooting her comment over her shoulder, "All I can say is lots of closet space," she grinned and wound her way through the crowd. It was fairly crowded in here, people all around grouping together. Devon actually never understood the true gist of a bar, the meaning of it. So many people in one building that, if you truly wanted to take out the enemy, all you had to do was wait to bomb the bar they frequented. Unless your dispute was well known, the cops would have to siphon through so many victims that it would take longer for them to locate the true killer. Still, Devon enjoyed a good drink and figured that if it was her time to go... then oh well. It's not like she could just punch a bomb in its face and run. She turned back to Darren, "You want to sit at the bar? Or a table?"

Darren shook his head in amusement as they wove through the bar. At least the music that they were playing was decent for once. He kept a tight grip on Devon's hand - large groups of people made him wary - before realizing that she had asked him something. He thought, trying to figure it out before t hit him. "Table. Somewhere in a corner." He said. Somewhere he could watch what was going on.

Devon laughed, shaking her head, "You know, I would call you paranoid if I didn't already know your past." She lead him to a table in the corner. It was darker here, less people milling around. When she sat she made sure to allow Darren his back corner so that he could survey the entire bar, "Fell better now?" She teased.

Darren's eyebrow lifted as he looked at Devon, "I thought you liked my paranoia. It's not failed us yet." He said defensively. He settled into the seat and propped his feet up, grinning he nodded his head. "Yup. Feels much better." He looked around, trying to see if he recognized any faces in the crowd. "What will we be drinking today, Devon?"

Finn clicked the pen and placed it back behind her ear, glancing over at the clock on the wall to determine how much longer she had. "Maybe thirty minutes?" A devilish grin spread across her face as she watched him curiously. He was so different from any guy she'd met - he intrigued her, even if she didn't know all about him. "Why do you ask?"

Luca nodded, glancing up at the clock when she said there was maybe half an hour left. "I was going to head for a late bite to eat - I thought you'd like to join me." He said, with complete confidence and a cocky smile. "Give you a chance to get to know me better." He added, unbuttoning the sleeves of his shirt and pushing them up his forearms.

Finn mulled it over. Her aunt's voice was in her head telling her not to do it because she really knew nothing about this guy whatsoever, but another part of her was telling her to live a little. It wasn't like she couldn't protect herself if anything went wrong. "Sounds like a plan," she said softly, offering him a smile, "Hope I'm not too underdressed." Finn motioned towards her outfit - a pair of dark wash jeans and a plain black v-neck. She hadn't really been planning on doing anything after work, and she was battling a major headache when she had dressed herself this morning.

Luca grinned at her when she agreed to go out with him after she finished worked, and he shook his head when she mentioned being underdressed. His eyes traveled slowly up her figure, before he shook his head again. "No, you look great," he told her. "Don't worry, I'll take us somewhere quiet anyway." He said.

Devon looked through the drinks menu, trying to consider what she wanted, "I don't know. Something fruity," she said softly, "I'm feeling in a strawberry mood.... so how about a strawberry margarita?" She set the menu aside and smiled at him, "What about you? Would you like something girly as well?"
