Tanner didn't say anything at this point. He didn't want to cause issues, so he just stayed quiet. He then looked at Roxie. "It's okay Roxie...if that's how he feels about me, then that's how he feels." He sighed softly, looking at his mom. He quietly excused himself from the table and walked out onto the porch.

Katie nodded. "Yep." She said and breathed. "Just peachy." She said, a little sarcastic. She put her head down and closed her eyes as she held onto the bed. "Oh this little one...he better know how much his mama loves him right now." She laughed lightly to herself. She placed one of Lucas's hands on her stomach, slowly relaxing at his touch.

Roxie glared at her dad, "I can not believe you. You're suppose to see the good in everyone and you are just a ignorant as anyone else!" She yelled at him. She got up and walked out on the porch, seeing Tanner at the other end of the porch. She walked over and hugged him tightly, "I'm so sorry." She said, shaking her head as she buried her face in his chest.

Lucas let his hand rest on her stomach and looked over as the doctor came in. He stepped back some giving the doctor some room. He was really worried that Katie was hurt.

Tanner looked at Roxie when she came out onto the porch. He was a little shocked to her, but at the same time, he was relieved to see her. "It's okay." He said softly as he hugged her. Katie looked at the Doctor when he walked in. "Oh Dr. Watkins, thank God you're here." She said as she stood there. When Lucas started to step back, Katie grabbed onto him. "You're not going anywhere." She snapped. Dr. Watkins chuckled. "Katie, lets lay you down." Katie sat down, hand on her stomach as the doctor checked her. "You're water hasn't broke, but you're definitely going into labor." She nodded. "This is going to be a long night Katie." He then walked out of the room. Katie groaned in pain.

Roxie wiped her eyes, "I just want to be with you." She said as she looked up at him. He made her happy and she didn't understand why her father didn't see him for what she saw him as. "I don't care what my dad says. I want to be with you and only you." She said as she held his hands.

Lucas sat next to her and took her hand, "Don't worry i will stay with you." He said as he kissed the back of her hand. He could tell she was in pain and he hated that he couldn't do anything for her.

"And I feel the same way about you. I want to be with you, and have no issues with it." He said as he held her. Watching her, Tanner leaned down and kissed her softly on the lips. "Roxie, I think I am slowly, but surely, falling in love with you." HE whispered, hoping that wasn't too much for her.

Katie smiled. "Mr. Lawrence, you are truly the best." She spoke softly and kissed his lips. She then laid back in the bed, breathing in and out when she felt a contraction. "Lucas." She spoke as she uncovered her rounded belly. "I don't know if I tell you this enough, but you're wonderful...truly wonderful."

Roxie looked at him, "I love you." She whispered as she kissed him. She jumped slightly when she heard the door open. She looked back, seeing her down. James glared at her, "Roxie get in the truck now." He snapped. He frowned when she said no, "Roxanne Marie get in the truck or i swear i will put you over my shoulder and put you in it!" He yelled. He watched as she walked to the truck then looked at Tanner, "You stay away from here." He said. He walked away and got in the truck before he pulled away from the house.

Roxie sat in church the next day, frowning when Tanner didn't show up. When church let out she went to Tanner's work and was told he was in the back. she stepped towards the car he was working on her shoes visible to him. "Why didn't you come today?" She asked. He usually didn't work sundays unless he asked to. She watched as he slid out from underneath of it. She knew that he was upset and she was hurt that he didn't come to see her.

Lucas smiled at her, "No you are the wonderful one." HE said as he leaned over and kissed her. He held her hand as he watched her. "You have a long night ahead of you Katie." He said as he kissed her cheek.

Tanner looked up at Roxie and sighed. "I was busy with work." He simply answered. He then went back to working on the current car that was in the shop. He didn't know what to say to Roxie or what happened yesterday. He looked back at her for a moment. "Look Roxie, maybe your Dad is right. I should stay away from you. I'm trouble and I don't want people to think wrong of you, or think that you're trouble when that's not true. You're a smart, talented young woman who doesn't need to be running around with a bad boy."

Katie looked at Lucas and nodded. "Yeah I know." She simply sighed as she grabbed his hand. She held it for a moment before placing his hand on top of her belly. "This baby is going to be so wonderful. That's what I have to keep reminding myself." She laughed lightly. She then moved, to where she was laying on her side and facing Lucas. She didn't let his hand leave her swollen stomach though as she laid there.

Roxie frowned, "don't say that!" She snapped. She was mad that he would even think that. "Stop." She said as she stopped him from working on the car. "Tanner....baby I don't care what people think. I just wanna be with you please." She said as she held his dirty hands. "I love you." She whispered. She bit her bottom lip lightly as she looked at him. "Tanner." She said again.

Lucas smiled as he kissed her hand. "I can't wait to see this beautiful baby." He said as he kissed her softly. He smile as he watched her. "I'm gonna help you with anything you need." He said.

Tanner looked at her in shock. He was really shocked that she was still willing to risk everything to be with him. He just looked at their hands when she grabbed his. He stared at them for a second then looked up at her. He watched her as she bit her bottom lip before admitting that she loved him. At those words, Tanner just smiled. He knew that they had fallen for each other and to hear her say she loved him, he felt like he could really fight for her. "I love you too Roxie." He said slowly bringing his lips to hers.

Katie smiled and leaned into him. Shd allowed her lips to touch his. They kissed for a small second before she quickly pulled back. She breathed as a contraction shot through her body. She squeezed Lucas's hand as she had the contraction. Once it passed, Katie loosened bet grip on his hand. "Sorry if I hurt you." She said, running her own hand across her stomach. "I haven't tbkughtno a name. I am having a problem settling on a name." She then said as she looked at her round stomach.

Roxie smiled as she kissed him back. She placed her hands on his face as she kissed him back. She pulled away slowly. "We can do this okay." She said as she kissed him again. "I don't care what anyone says. I love you and you are what i want." She said.

Lucas smiled, "You aren't going to hurt me." He said as he kissed her hand. "So what names did you have in mind?" He asked as he kissed her cheek. He leaned back in the seat and waited for her to name off the names she had in mind.

Tanner could have cried when he heard the sweet words Roxie spoke. He couldn't believe that she was still in love with him and wanted him dispute everything. "Roxie." He said softly. "I love you so much." He then kissed her pulling her to him as close as possible.

Katie smiled a little, thinking on names for the baby."I don't know...I've thought here and there on it, but not a lot." She admitted as she ran a hand across her belly. "I really like the name Tristan." She spoke softly. "And I've got an amazing middle name for the little guy." She smiled as she held Lucas's hand.

Roxie hugged him and rested her head on his chest. "I want to see you tonight. Meet me at that run down house down the road from mine." She said as she stepped back from him. She kissed him, "I have to go though." She said before she left. She went to her house then sighed as she walked into her room. Roxie walked down the street after sneaking out of her house. She stood near the house and smiled when she saw Tanner pull up in his trunk. She got in his truck and looked at him. "Hey." She said as seh kissed him.

Tanner smiled when she approached him. "Hi." He spoke softly and kissed him. "Even though it hasn't been that long, I've missed you." He chuckled softly before kissing her. He tucked a piece of hair away from her face, smiling as he pulled her to him. "So, tell me baby, what do you want to do?" He asked softly.

Katie just smiled. "Lucas." She said proudly. "Trista Lucas." She said, wanting to name his middle name after the man she had fallen in love with. She felt another contraction and she just breathed in then out slowly. "Oh goodness." She bit her bottom lip as she laid there. She looked at Lucas, gently squeezing his hand as the contraction lasted then let go when it was gone. "Can you please do me a favor?" She asked him.

Roxie smiled, "Anything. Just pick some place that isn't near here." She said as she ran her fingers through her hair. She sat in the middle next to Tanner as he began to drive. "I am so glad we were able to do this." She said.

Lucas smiled when he said that she was going to name him after him. "Sure what do you need?" He asked as he held her hand tightly. He would do anything for her as long as she was happy.

Tanner couldn't help but laugh a little. "Well what would you want to do?" He asked as he helped her into his truck. He climbed in and smiled, seeing her right next to him. He kissed her once more and then started up the truck. He thought about where they could go. He then began driving.

Katie smiled a little. "Do you mind grabbing my bag And pulling out the bottle of lotion?" She asked as she raised her gown up to reveal her very large stomach. "And do you mind applying some lotion ?" She asked sweetly. She laid back on the bed, letting go of Lucas's hand so he could get her lotion.

Roxie looked at him, "Can we go out of town?" She asked as she took his free hand, lacing her fingers with his. She smiled as she leaned against him. She couldn't wait to finally be away from the small town they lived in. Sure she loved it there but people were so nosey. She looked at him then smiled as she turned the radio up.

Lucas took the bottle form her, "Sure." He said as he put some of the lotion in his hand. He began to apply it and looked at her. He just wanted her to be as comfortable as possible.

Tanner nodded. "That, baby, sounds like an excellent idea." He just grinned as he watched her turn up the radio. He brought his attention back to the road as he drove out of town. He knew a nice, quiet spot away from the town that the two of them could go and not worry about anyone bothering them. "Roxie I've fallen in love with you and there's no one else I'd rather have fallen for." He said as he held her to him while he drove.

A little while later...

Katie was laying with her back facing Lucas, groaning in pain. She was really in pain now and there was nothing be could do to make it go away. Her water had broke, but she was slow with dilating. The doctor had just come in to tell her she was 5 cm dilated. She breathed, looking at the clock. It was 12:35 am. "Ugh." She groaned.

Roxie smiled, "I'm glad you chose me." She said as she kissed his cheek. When he finally stopped she looked at him and kissed him softly. She relaxed in his arms and laced her fingers with his.

Lucas looked at her, "You are doing great baby." He whispered as he kissed her hand again. HE smiled as he watched her for a moment. He was glad they would see the baby soon.

Tanner grinned. "I'd be crazy not to choose you." He laughed and kissed her. He allowed their fingers to be laced as he held her. He drove out to a quiet place and parked the truck. He then looked at her, kissing her on the lips. "Just you, me, and no disruptions."

Katie breathed in and out, and closed her eyes. She let the pain come and go. She put a hand on Lucas's cheek and smiled a little. "Babe, you can go get food or something. I know you have to be hungry." She spoke as she ran a hand across her belly again.

Roxie smiled as she kissed him, "If only that were all the time." She said as she kissed him again. She rested her head on his shoulder and wrapped her arms around his waist. "I was worried that you wouldn't agree to this." She said.
