Tanner looked at her. "The more I thought about it, the more I realized that I want to spend as much time as possible with you." He admitted, kissing her sweetly on the lips. He kept her close as he continued to kiss her, allowing his lips to move to her neck, where he gently placed kisses along her collarbone. "Pure beauty." He whispered.

Katie looked at him, watching him. "Babe, I'm really okay. You can get food or st least coffee. I know you have to be hungry." She said as she moved back to where she was laying on her back. She groaned again as the baby moved and kicked around. "Ugh." She moaned. She breathed in and out, taking the contraction .

Roxie smiled as he kissed down her neck, "I just wish we didn't have to hide this." She whispered. She placed her hands on his face and kissed him deeply. She smiled as she pulled away slowly.

Lucas shook his head, "No i'm fine." He said as he continued to sit there. He held her hand and kissed her hand. He looked around the room then back at her.

Tanner nodded, agreeing with her. "I wish the same thing." He said softly as he kissed her one more time. "Things will get better...we just have to be patient." He laughed. "That's what my mom always tells me." He chuckled. "And for some reason, I think she just might be right..."

Katie smiled. "You're so sweet." She whispered, holding his hand. She pulled him a little closer to her, and kissed him. "I love you." She whispered against his lips. "I love you more than anything in the world." She slowly ran a hand down his shirt, playing with his buttons. She then breathed in and out slowly. She laid back on the bed, allowing her belly to hang out. "After the baby is born, I can start helping around the ranch more."

Roxie looked at him, "You really think things are going to get better?" SHe asked him as she held his hand. She kissed him softly and smiled against his lips. She felt like anything could get better as long as she was with him.

Lucas smiled, "I love you too." He said as he kissed her. He smiled as he watched her. He shook his head, "You don't have to help until you absolutely want to." He said as he kissed her cheek. He knew she would want to spend time with the new baby.

Tanner couldn't help but a smile into the kiss. With Roxie, he truly felt like he forgot everything that he was dealing with - even things between him and her dad. It was like he almost forgot the world around him when he was alone with her, and nothing was wrong with that. A matter of fact, he really wished it could be like that all the time.

Katie smiled, putting a hand on his cheek. "I know, but I will help out at some point, I am most certainly sure of that." She said softy. She then breathed in and out slowly feeling a contraction. There were definitely getting stronger. She looked at Lucas, slowly laying on her side. She held Lucas's hand for a moment before putting his hand on her side.

Roxie pulled away, "I'm gonna try to figure out something with my dad okay baby?" She asked as she kissed him again. She was really worried that her dad would find out about them sneaking around and keep them away from each other again.

Lucas shook his head, "You can help whenever you like baby." He said. He knew she loved helping out around the farm and he wasnt going to keep it from her.

Tanner kissed her once more before looking at her. "That might be a good idea." He commented as he looked at her. "I would hate to lose you forever, and I feel like that would happen." He spoke.

Katie breathed in and out, watching him. She closed her eyes, breathing. The doctor walked in, looking at the young pregnant woman. "How are we feeling Katie?" He asked. She opened her eyes. "I'm alright." She said. "Lets check you again." The doctor then spoke as he put on gloves. Quickly checking in Katie, The doctor looked and then looked up at Katie. "Almost." He said. "Let me grab our nurses."

A few minutes later...

Katie was breathing heavily in pain. The doctor hadn't returned but the nurse was there. "Oh gosh." she breathed. The nurse was reassuring her, keeping her calm. Just then the doctor walked in. He smiled and got ready. Katie looked at Lucas. "I'm scared." She told him as she spread her legs and got into position.

Roxie smiled as she kissed him. "I know. This is all just a mess lately." She said shaking her head.

James looked at her, "You are going to do great." He said as he took her hand. He smiled as he kissed her hand. He knew that it was going to be rough for her, but he knew that she was going to be okay. He felt her hand tighten around his and he held her hand tightly.

Tanner was just sitting there, admiring Roxie. He still couldn't that he had meet her or even got to call her someone that he was falling in love with. "I think we should probably get your home." He said as he started driving back into town. When he got to her street, he slowly turned down it and pulled up to her house. He then parked his truck and smiled. "I love you Roxie." He said before gently kissing her. He then pulled back and smiled, cupping her face. "I don't want to lose you and I will do ANYTHING to have you." He reassured her.

Katie breathed in and out as she held onto Lucas, and didn't let go. She watched as the doctor and nurses prepped. She closed her eyes, continuously breathing in and out. "Alright, Katie." The doctor said. "Relax...good girl. Now on the count of three, give me a big push. 1...2...3...PUSH!" The doctor said. Katie began pushing, groaning a little.

(A LITTLE WHILE LATER...)

"Alright Katie just one more big push." The doctor said. Katie breathed and gave one final push then laid back. The baby was here and boy did he have a set of lungs on him. Katie just smiled, tears welling up in her eyes. She looked at Lucas and smiled. The doctor looked to Lucas. "You wanna cut the cord, daddy?" He asked. Katie looked to Lucas and nodded to him to do it.

Roxie looked at him, "I love you too." She said as she kissed him. She pulled away, "I will see you later." She said. She got out of her car then walked to her house. She sneaked upstairs and went to her bedroom. She had to figure out a way for her father to let her be with him.

Roxie walked down the street with her friend Bethany. She held her coffee in her hand as they made their way to diner at the end of the street. Her friend wanted to pick up a pie for her grandmother and Roxie figured she would go along. Roxie walked into the diner with Bethany and took a sip of her coffee.

Lucas was surprised when Katie had asked him to cut the cord. He didn't think that she would let him do that. Lucas walked over and cut the cord, smiling at the baby that she had given birth to. The baby was beautiful, but he expected that.

Tanner was at the mechanic shop, working on his buddy's truck. He had promised his buddy that he'd do it for him. However, he just had been so caught up with Roxie lately that he forgot. Looking out towards the town from the bay door of the shop, Tanner smiled. He saw Roxie with a friend of hers at the coffee shop, and he couldn't help but smile. Seeing Roxie just made him instantly smile.

Katie watched Lucas and smiled. She knew she couldn't have been any luckier than she already was with finding someone like Lucas. She watched as he cut the cord, which made her smile. She looked to him and giggled a little. She closed her eyes as she wiped away the tears. She really felt like the luckiest girl in the world and would not want to change a single thing. She watched as the nurses took the baby, weighing him and all. "8 pounds and a half pounds." The nurse told them. Katie looked to Lucas completely amazed.

Roxie walked out of the shop and looked over, seeing Tanner was at work. She walked over to the shop. She walked into the shop and found Tanner, "Hey." She said, smiling. She knew that her dad was at home so she figured she would talk to Tanner for a bit.

Lucas smiled as he looked at Katie. "You did great baby." He said as he kissed her cheek. He knew that she was exhausted, but he was glad she did such a great job. Lucas kissed her forehead and smiled.

Tanner was currently working on a truck for a buddy of his when he heard a very familiar voice. "Hey beautiful." He said, looking away from the inside of the truck to look back at her. "Good to see you.' He smirked as he pulled out a dirt rag from his back pocket. He wiped off his face then his hands. Once that was done, Tanner made his way over to Roxie, giving her a quick kiss on the lips.

Katie smiled as she felt Lucas kiss her cheek. "Thank you.' She said as she laid there. "To be honest, I didn't think I could do that...but I did.' She said, rather proud of herself. She watched as she nurses made a cute fuss over the newborn baby. She closed her eyes for a second to just relax, glancing over to Lucas and then the baby. "I'm really exhausted." She admitted as she laid there.

Roxie smiled, "So what are you planning to do today?" She asked, looking up at him. Roxie wanted to spend time with him again. She couldn't stand to be away from him. She ran her fingers through her hair as she listened to him talk. Roxie bit her bottom lip lightly.

Lucas nodded, "Get some rest and you will feel better." He said as he kissed her forehead. He knew that she was exhausted and she needed her sleep. Lucas smiled as he sat down beside of her.

Tanner shrugged a little. "I don't know." He looked at her and smiled. "Unless you have some wonderful suggestions for me." He chuckled as he looked to her. Watching her bit her bottom lip, Tanner just smiled. "Roxie, you know how to make me smile." He grinned as he moved a little closer to her. HE then brought his face closer to hers and gently kissed her lips.

Katie nodded. "Rest sounds like a wonderful idea." She spoke softly. She yawned a little as she looked to Lucas. "Honey, I'd love to have you next to me in this bed." She whispered as she held his hand.

Roxie kissed him, "I was thinking maybe we could hang out with your friends tonight." She said as she stepped back from him. She kissed his cheek again and smiled.

Lucas smiled as he ran his fingers through her hair. "You will get to sleep with me soon." He said as he kissed her cheek. He knew it was gonig to be all new to her, having a baby.

Tanner looked at Roxie straight in the eyes when she suggested hanging out with his friends. "Are you sure about that?" He asked, not wanting her to feel like she had to do something she wasn't really up for, and he knew that some times, his friends were just too much. He couldn't help but smile though when she kissed his cheek once again. He then pulled her close to him, keeping a nice grip around her waist. "Because I'm willing and wanting to do whatever you would like to do." He whispered before kissing her.

Katie just looked up at him and smiled. "You're right." She said softly. "I just don't want you to leave this room." She whispered as she held his hand. Taking a moment to adjust herself in bed, Katie looked at Lucas once again. "Lucas." She said. "I don't know how many times I could say this...but thank you." She pulled him down to her so that she could kiss him softly on the lips.

Roxie smiled, "Yes i'm sure this is what i want." She said as she kissed him again. "Pick me up around six." She said as she stepped back from him. "I will see you later." She said, waving before she left. She went back to her house and began to get ready. She knew that it was odd to want to hang out with his friends, but she had to try.

Lucas smiled as he watched her. He kissed her cheek and took her hands, "No problem." He said. Lucas ran his fingers through her hair, "So can i get you anything?" He asked her.

Tanner, still taken by this suggestion for Roxie, just nodded when she told him to pick her up around six. "Of course." He said with a smile. "I'll see you later then." He added, not daring to take his eyes off of her. He then made his way towards his truck before climbing in and driving to his house.

Katie just laid there for a moment, taking in this sweet moment. She still couldn't believe what had happened and the things that were yet to come...the good things. "I would love something to eat." She told Lucas as she rested her eyes. "I'm a little hungry and food sounds so good." She smiled.
