Daryl shook his head, "Don't worry about it." Daryl assured her. He gave her a light smile. He patted her leg lightly. "If you ever need to talk, I am here." Daryl said getting up and going to the bathroom.

Kat took and went about doing what he said to do. She hummed while she done it and smiled to herself. She really did like this. It was peaceful and nice.

Maia looked at him. She was glad that there was someone who seemed to care. She even thought that he was attractive, but she didn't want to get her hops up for nothing. She just took a deep breath and got up. She wondered down the stairs into the kitchen. She saw the other guy and Kat making breakfast. "Smells good," she complimented.

Rick looked up and smiled. "I'm glad you think so. It should be done in a bit," he said. He smiled as Maia nodded and went over to look out the window. He went back to what he was doing.

Maia looked at him. She was glad that there was someone who seemed to care. She even thought that he was attractive, but she didn't want to get her hops up for nothing. Rick looked up and smiled. "I'm glad you think so. It should be done in a bit," he said. He smiled as Maia nodded and went over to look out the window. He went back to what he was doing.

Kat glanced to Maia, "You ok baby?" Kat took and smiled at her frowning. She bit on her lip wondering if she'd had the nightmare again.

Daryl came down the stairs and saw the food almost done. "I am going to do a quick sweep." He told Rick as he headed out of the house to do a sweep of the area.

Maia shrugged. "I'm fine," she said, looking over at her friend. "Don't worry about me." She smiled hoping that would assure Kat. She looked out the window curious as to what all is out there. She saw the barn and a garden that looked almost ready to pick.

Rick looked at the two girl curious about what they were talking about. He wasn't really listening, but he could tell that Kat was worried and noticed that Maia had just waved it off.

Maia shrugged. "I'm fine," she said, looking over at her friend. "Don't worry about me." She smiled hoping that would assure Kat. She looked out the window curious as to what all is out there. She saw the barn and a garden that looked almost ready to pick.

Daryl done the sweep like usual. He took and walked back and sighed a little as he took and walked into the house seeing the table set.

Maia sat down when the table was set and they were starting to eat. She glanced over at Daryl who had just come inside. She didn't know what it was about the guy, but she couldn't help but be interested him. He gave off an energy that just made her curious.

Rick smiled at Kat and started to pass out the food to everyone. "I hope you two like this," he said, smiling at them both now. He glanced over at Daryl who was sitting down next to him.

Daryl smiled at Maia as he sat down with everyone. He began eating as he kept looking at Maia.

Kat smiled at Rick as she began to eat her food.

Maia blushed feeling Daryl's eyes on her as she ate. She ate the food slowly and looked at her plate doing so. She didn't even know how long she was going to be here. She hated getting her hopes up.

Rick ate his food and smiled over at Kat. He ate his food slowly, trying not to choke on the food. He wondered what all was going to happen today.

Daryl took and glanced back at his plate finishing up his food. He lent back sipping his water. "That was good Rick." Daryl complimented his friend's cooking.

Kat noticed Rick staring at her. She gave him a smile and took and finished up. "I can do the dishes Rick. That was delicious." Kat smiled at him.

Rick just smiled and nodded. "I had some good help from Kat," he said. He turned to look over at Kat who was starting to do the dishes. "You don't have to do that." He got up and carried his plate to the sink. "You helped me cook." He looked at her curiously.

Maia got up and decided to help Kat with the dishes. She knew that she couldn't just stay here and not help out in some way. They were letting her stay, and she knew that she owed them something. She wasn't one to take the advantage of someone's hospitality. She liked to help out with what she can.

Rick just smiled and nodded. "I had some good help from Kat," he said. He turned to look over at Kat who was starting to do the dishes. "You don't have to do that." He got up and carried his plate to the sink. "You helped me cook." He looked at her curiously.

Maia got up and decided to help Kat with the dishes. She knew that she couldn't just stay here and not help out in some way. They were letting her stay, and she knew that she owed them something. She wasn't one to take the advantage of someone's hospitality. She liked to help out with what she can.

Kat looked at him and smiled at Rick. "Really I don't mind to do them." She assured him and smiled. She gently took the plate from his hands and began washing it. She took and watched him a second as she blushed a little and smiled She turned her head towards Maia and smiled at her.

Daryl took and got up with his plate. He handed it to the one named Kat and smiled at Maia. He took and headed outside to begin working in the garden. He saw Rick coming as he looked at him, "It's kind of nice having women around." Daryl said to him.

Maia smiled back at Kat. "It's kind of nice out here," she said as she rinsed off the plates. "Plus those two guys seem nice." She glanced out of the window to see the two guys in the garden. "Maybe we will be staying with them for awhile."

Rick looked at Daryl and nodded. "Yeah, it's nice to have more company than just you here. Plus, there will be a woman's touch to this place," he said, slightly teasing Daryl.

Maia smiled back at Kat. "It's kind of nice out here," she said as she rinsed off the plates. "Plus those two guys seem nice." She glanced out of the window to see the two guys in the garden. "Maybe we will be staying with them for awhile."

Rick looked at Daryl and nodded. "Yeah, it's nice to have more company than just you here. Plus, there will be a woman's touch to this place," he said, slightly teasing Daryl.

Kat smiled, "I wouldn't object to it to be honest." Kat smiled at Maia. "They are very nice looking and very kind." Kat said.

Daryl grabbed his heart, "Ouch you hurt my heart." Daryl laughed doing his work.

Maia smiled and nodded. "Yeah, they are," she said in agreement. She placed the last of the dishes on the towel to dry and looked around to see if there is going to be anything else to do. "It's kind of peaceful out here, and plus there doesn't seem to as much danger here as it was in the city with the other group." She shuddered remembering how it was at the last place. She sighed deeply.

Kat nodded her head to Maia. "It is." Kat said lightly and smiled. "Out there in the city, it wasn't safe. Here. It is. So peaceful too." Kat smiled at Maia.
