Maia nodded in agreement. "I honestly like it out here. I haven't seen a single dead thing walking, and I feel safer. It's just that..." her voice trailed off not wanting to really talk about the dream. She didn't want to. They seemed to be getting worse, and she was scared that she was going to become an insomniac. She hated the nights of trying to stay busy so she wouldn't fall asleep.

Rick just shook his head. "How do feel about those girls though? Would you even mind if they were stayed here for awhile?" he asked looking at him. He didn't really want to push the two girls out. They looked like they needed someone to be there for them besides just each other.

Rick just shook his head. "How do feel about those girls though? Would you even mind if they were stayed here for awhile?" he asked looking at him. He didn't really want to push the two girls out. They looked like they needed someone to be there for them besides just each other.

Kat frowned and walked over to Maia and hugged her tightly. She really had no idea what else to do for her friend. All she knew what to do was hug her and comfort her the best she could. She rubbed her back lightly and frowned. "I am sorry honey." Kat whispered.

Daryl shook his head, "No not at all. I actually find myself drawn to Maia for an odd reason." Daryl admitted to Rick.

Maia hugged Kat back. She pulled back slightly. "It's not your fault, Kat," she said. "There's nothing to worry about. Maybe they will go away when I'm not as worried. They may just be from stress or something." She was hoping what she said was true, but she had no way of knowing though. "You never know. Maybe they go away since we are out here."

Rick smiled at him. "I would say you were weird if I didn't feel the same about Kat," he said. He grabbed the basket of food and went inside to put it in the kitchen. "Hello, ladies." He gave them both a friendly smile.

Maia hugged Kat back. She pulled back slightly. "It's not your fault, Kat," she said. "There's nothing to worry about. Maybe they will go away when I'm not as worried. They may just be from stress or something." She was hoping what she said was true, but she had no way of knowing though. "You never know. Maybe they go away since we are out here."

Kat nodded her head, "I hope so." She told Maia squeezing her arm lightly. She glanced out the window and jumped hearing Rick's voice. She smiled at Rick seeing the basket of food. She took the food from Rick, "Hello." She smiled at him as she went to put it up in places she seen the food. "You don't mind if I cook dinner do you? I haven't cooked in ages, and it'd be nice." Kat smiled at Rick.

Daryl watched Rick disappear. He took and finished as he went on about his normal routines. He stopped seeing Maia and grinned. He had something for this woman and wanted nothing more than to tell her so. He grinned a little at her, "Darling." He said.

Rick nodded. "Of course, I don't mind if you want to," he said smoothly. "We usually take turns cooking, and try not to make one person do everything, you know?" He smiled at her warmly. There was something about her that he was really starting to like.

Maia smiled over at him as she sat on the back porch. She was enjoying the sun on her skin and the fresh air. "Hey," she said and felt her heart contract in her chest.

Kat smiled and nodded, "Good." She replied softly tucking some hair behind her ear. "Um. What can I do before I start cooking to help out?" She asked him lightly.

Daryl smiled, "Wanna take a walk with me?" Daryl asked her smiling at her.

Rick shrugged his shoulders. "We have most of what we need done. Except for checking to see if the chickens have laid any eggs, but we have been hoping that they will lay some baby chickens so that we won't run out of them," he said.

Maia looked up at him and thought about he asked and nodded. "Yeah, I would love to," she said. She stood up and walked closer to him.

Kat nodded her head and gave a light smile to him, "Well hopefully they have. I could help you check if you'd like?" Kat suggested.

Daryl smiled as he began walking with her.

Rick smiled and nodded. "Come on," he said. He walked towards the door and held it open for her. "Ladies first." He smiled at her warmly. The warm breeze brushed against his exposed skin on his arm that was holding the door open.

Maia walked next to Daryl. She gave him a warm smile. She felt more comfortable with him than she did in the last group she was in. She sighed trying to forget about that. "So, what do you normally do?" she asked.

Rick smiled and nodded. "Come on," he said. He walked towards the door and held it open for her. "Ladies first." He smiled at her warmly. The warm breeze brushed against his exposed skin on his arm that was holding the door open.

Maia walked next to Daryl. She gave him a warm smile. She felt more comfortable with him than she did in the last group she was in. She sighed trying to forget about that. "So, what do you normally do?" she asked.

Kat smiled walking alongside of Rick. She took and followed him as she hummed a song.

Daryl looked at her, "Meaning on the farm or?" Daryl asked.

Rick walked into the barn were the cows and chickens were. The chickens were in the back. There were even a few horses in the stall. He had always been interested in horses and rode these horses a few times.

Maia looked over at him. "Just in general. What do you do on a daily basis or whatever?" she said, looking at him. She gave him a curious look as she walked next to Daryl.

Maia looked over at him. "Just in general. What do you do on a daily basis or whatever?" she said, looking at him. She gave him a curious look as she walked next to Daryl.

Kat followed along side him as she smiled seeing the horses. "I love horses." She muttered out smiling towards them but following Rick.

Daryl smiled, "Normally tend to the garden. Take and feed the animals. Just basically about everything." Daryl said to her.

Rick smiled and shrugged. "They are pretty calm and easy to ride," he said lightly. "Have you ever ridden horses before?" He looked at her curiously. He needed to let the horses out and let them roam in the fenced in field.

Maia looked over at him. "Seems very calm and nice," she replied. She didn't like anything that was too complicated in a sense. She wanted things to be simple since this zombie breakout started.

Rick smiled and shrugged. "They are pretty calm and easy to ride," he said lightly. "Have you ever ridden horses before?" He looked at her curiously. He needed to let the horses out and let them roam in the fenced in field.

Rick smiled and went over to the chicken coup. The chickens didn't freak out when he went over to the nests. Some of the chickens weren't sitting on the eggs and he hoped that they weren't fertilized.

Maia smiled at him. She couldn't help but wonder about what will happen with her staying here with him.
