Yeah same, I totally forgot what we agreed for where the groups would camp out. I'm looking through the thread and adding everything I didn't before (why didn't I do this before?? ) to the first page.

I think it looks like they were going to be in a big mansion with a gate and then a bed and breakfast in a forest when that gets taken over.

And I think my group starts out my girl, my extra girl, and Louis. (Louis and Jenny are dating) And then they meet zayn. And then they meet Liam after that. I think?

Okay, I added what I didn't add before.

Just to clear some stuff up, we start off the story in May and it's been 9 months since the outbreak.
Harry is new to Juliet's group. And Liam is a month new to Phoebe's group.

I was going to be last to post, but since some stuff came up, Katie and I switched, so it's now Hannah, me, and Katie.

Chapter 1: (Hannah) Introduces Juliet's group, with Niall and Harry.
Chapter 2: (Calli) Introduces Grace's two-man group, and her mission to find her brother.
** should I write a snippet of Liam on watch and talk about how he met Katie's group, and then mention the picture of Grace? Since his group will be in the next chapter? Or is that too early? haha
Chapter 3: (Katie) Introduces Phoebe's group. (or maybe one of the character will see Liam looking at a picture and wonders of what, and it ends up being Grace.)
Chapter: 4: (Hannah)
Chapter 5: (Calli) Grace and Michael run into Juliet's group in the same store, and they get run out and into the car, maybe either Juliet, Harry or Niall will be waiting in the car?
** I think we agreed on my second chapter being when group 1 and 3 run into each other...

I'm trying to figure out a way to bring in the picture and Liam.

this is the ROUGH idea I had but I don't know where to bring it in:

Write Liam on watch while the others are sleeping and he talks about when he met them, and what has happened so far, and then looks down at the picture of Grace he stole from Louis’s bag like he has been every once in a while. He was gonna leave the group but then Louis pulled him aside and asked for his assistance in helping his sister. Liam didn’t believe she was alive when he first found out about her, but for some reason couldn’t help but think of her. Maybe they met once before all this happened? Or known each other in some way. I was thinking maybe they met playing a game online? god..i have no idea.

You could do it or I could just mention it briefly to get the readers thinking something is going on before it is introduced later. Maybe Phoebe sees Liam holding the photo and asks him about it, then he says it's nothing, and Jenny mentions that he never puts the thing down or something like that. That way we wouldn't have to jump around between groups in the chapter.

I think I'll have my first chapter be an introduction to the group and then the end of the chapter will be when they are getting attacked and meet Zayn for the first time. I think I'm going to have Liam and Louis holding off a group of zombies while Jenny and Phoebe look for a safe spot to wait out until morning, and that's when the girls run into Zayn. I think Phoebe will get cornered by a zombie and Zayn saves her just as Liam and Louis come to help (I'm thinking Louis will be super protective of Jenny since he already lost his sister and doesn't want to lose her too?), and then there's a small stand off between the boys before Zayn agrees to show them where he's been staying so they can wait out until morning when it's safer to travel.

Also, since we had mentioned that Jenny and Louis are dating, do you want Jenny to know Grace at all or they haven't met yet? How long have Jenny and Louis been dating, how did they meet, etc.? I am cool with whatever you want to do for their relationship, since no matter what I think it will just add to Jenny's character. Her and Phoebe were best friends before the attack, so I imagine Phoebe and Louis will be somewhat close as well. I imagine at this point Liam is somewhat of an outcast with the group, having been with them for only a month and the other three being so close, which could be part of the reason the girls find the photo so intriguing. Maybe they don't know a whole lot about his backstory and are wondering if it's a girlfriend or something and are too scared to ask?

I'm just typing out as I'm thinking so let me know what you think

Okay, if it's okay with you guys, can I change Phoebe's name? This year one of my students names is Phoebe and it's all I can think about what I type out her name It's like I'm throwing her into the apocalypse for writing a bad paper

I also got my quotes for my characters!

Phoebe: "When I was on my first rotation in the ICU, I remember thinking all the death and destruction was just too much to bear. Nursing school was nothing compared to this."

Jenny: "If it wasn't for Louis, we'd have been dead a long time ago. Now we're just following him and waiting for something more."

Zayn: "The only thing this place has taught me is that you're better off alone. When you're alone, the only person you have to look out for is you."

Yes, I like that. Okay, I think it'll work better if you the Liam thing. And I'm pretty sure we also mentioned something about Jenny and Louis (quickly checks). Yes! Jenny will help keep Louis's hopes up about Grace, but Liam doesn't believe she's still alive or whatever when Louis first asks for help. And Jenny was with Louis before the outbreak, so.. maybe dating two months before? I'm just trying to figure out if Grace met her yet, most likely not. Probably just heard of her and what not. omg, they're wondering if it's his girlfriend, when really he's taking the picture from Louis when hes unaware. Oh god.

But no, what you have is great! I love it.

Hahaha, I'm sure that's a little awkward. No you can change it! Nothing has been posted about Phoebe yet, just the characters page. So sure, whatever you want I'll change it!

Yay, I am definitely going to change it then! I think I'll go with Eden instead.
