Lila smiled softly and nodded. She leaned into him and closed her eyes letting herself drift in and out of sleep. She watched Mikkie take a nap as well.

Mikkie drifted to sleep, holding her in his arms. He hoped that she would be well enough to come home soon, because he was struggling with the people being around so much

It was noon the next day when she was discharged and Orion did really well in his carseat and they where allowed to take him home. Lila was wheeled out to the car and Ben was strapping Orion into the back seat. Lila smiled softly and then stood and moved into the passenger seat and laid back.

Mikkie smiled brightly as he helped Lila into the car. "So you excited to be going home?" he asked her. He kissed her cheek, "I can't wait to get settled in," he said. He knew Lila was still struggling with something but didn't know how to ask

Lila smiled up at him and nodded. "Yeah I want to go home. Did the doctor say when we will get the results?" she asked having signed the papers for Orion by herself until the results came back that is how it would stay.

Mikkie smiled softly, "in a couple of days," he said softly. He climbed into the car and headed back home. His parents were going to pick up some food on the way, to let the pair of them settle in somewhat first.

Lila was silent looking out the window as they drove. Once they got home she got out and looked in the car at Orion and opened the door then looked at Mikkie. "I'm not suppose to carry more than 15 pounds yet." she said and let him take Orion in his car seat. She walked up unlocking the door. Once Mikkie came in she closed the door and looked around. They had everything they needed. "I'm going to shower. Will you be okay with him for a little?" she asked wanting to make sure he didn't need anything first but Mikkie was more paternal than she was maternal and he of course would be fine. Once he said as much she headed to the shower. She cleaned up and put on some comfortable cloths glad that her small cloths fit her again.

Mikkie smiled softly, and nodded, "of course, would you like a coffee, when you are done?" he asked her as he carried his boy into the house. He moved over to the couch and sat down. He was glad to have some peace and alone time for now.

Jessie had refused the coffee. She spent the time away from Mikkie and Orion to think. She wanted those results and was wondering what was taking them so long. Surely there wasn't something that hard to figure out. Jessie sighed and ran her hands through her hairs sitting on the edge of the bed just letting herself zone out. She heard the door open and jumped looking at Mikkie and hearing Oliver crying. "Is he hungry?" she asked feeling her breast ache with the need to feed him. She didn't know how long she had been zoned out.

Mikkie smiled seeing her and nodded softly, "yeah I think so, speaking of, how are your breasts feeling?" he asked her gently. He moved into the room, and closer to her.

Lila moved back to the bed and slipped her shirt off and then her bra. "I can tell when he needs to feed because my breasts ache." she said and took him form Mikkie as he brought Orion to her. She let him attach and then looked up at Mikkie. "How are you feeling? It's been an eventful couple days and with the test results coming up soon..." she wanted to be sure he was handling this.

Mikkie smiled and nodded, watching her closely. She looked so precious feeding their son. He moved beside her, "well, if the ache gets too bad, just say so," he commented. He put his arm around her, "I am okay, I know he's mine, the test will just prove it," he said.

Lila looked up at him and smiled nodding and kissed him softly as he came closer. "You'll be my first call." she said and then looked at Orion. "He has such dark hair. It doesn't in my family." she said and stroked the feathery hair on top of his head. She loved Mikkie's certainty and she reached up running a hand through her hair then cupping his cheek. "I love you." she said hoping he knew how much.

Mikkie smiled and nodded, he kissed her again, "I love you too," he said. He watched as Orion fed, and then pulled back. He left Lila to hold him for a bit.

Once Orion was done and she had burped him she wondered where Mikkie had run off too. Lila pulled her shirt back on carefully. She looked down at Orion a strange expression on her face as she held him in her arms. It felt like he was an alien to her. He was this bundle of skin and had the biggest eyes that looked back at her taking everything in. All things considered he seemed a quiet baby. He really only cried for feedings and when he needed a change but otherwise he didn't need anything. She looked up at the door then stood with Orion going to find Mikkie.

Mikkie was in the lounge with his parents who had finally made it. He smiled seeing Lila, "there she is," he said lightly. He walked over to her, "are you hungry my love?" he asked.

Lila blinked seeing everyone and looked at Mikkie as he asked if she was hungry. She looked around and then back at Mikkie and nodded softly. "Let me see my grandson." Karla said and Lila walked over handing off Orion before moving into the kitchen to make up a plate.

Mikkie smiled as his Mother moved over and took Orion. He looked at Lila, and joined her in the kitchen. "You are looking good, what's on your mind love?" he asked

Lila looked up at Mikkie with Orion in his arms. "Nothing just hungry." she said and made a plate before moving to the table and sitting. "What's on your mind?" she asked before taking a bite of her food.

Mikkie moved to the table, and watched as he parents played with and watched Orion. He sat down, "just, you seem different," he said
