Adeline shrugged. "It's just what I like you know. I like making things that look beautiful, and my mom was big into sowing and taught me that. I grew up doing that," she answered. "Boxing? What made you get into that?" She was genuinely curious about how he would get into a sport like that. She waited patiently for his response.

Jacob took a sip of his drink and leaned back, placing both hands behind his head before answering. "My dad was a fighter." He started murmuring. "I was a skimpy kid who got beat up a lot. So I had to learn a way to defend myself."'he said and sipped his drink again. "So I learned to box, then I started making money off it. And now I'm the best fighter in the gangs. Undefeated." He said pretending to yawn as he talked about himself.

Adeline looked at him curiously. She was kind of surprised that he was speaking so freely about being in a gang. She didn't really know how to respond to him. "Well, you look like you are good from your build," she said, trying to be complimenting.

Jacob smiled at the compliment. "Why thank you, Adeline." He said as he finished off his beer, looking her once more. "Enough of about me." He said shrugging. "You can find out about me easily, tell me about you." He asked smiling at her.

Adeline shrugged. "There isn't much to know about me. I pretty much spend most of my time designing new clothes and with my family," she said. "I don't have a very exciting life." She gave him a light smile.

Jacob nodded and chuckled softly. "Spice up your life, you gotta live life to the fullest." He said and grabbed a mozzarella stick. "How about you come to my fight sometime? As my personal guest." He smiled and pulled out a folded up paper from his pocket. "Get the VIP treatment." He said grinning as he unfolded the paper. "I've got a fight next Wednesday."

Adeline smiled. "You have to enjoy what you do though," she pointed slightly. "But you are kind of right. Doing the same thing everyday can get a little dull. I'll take you up on your offer." She smiled at him gently. She could hear her friend talking behind her, but she didn't take in the sounds.

Jacob grinned slightly, he set the paper down and circled the fight date. Then handed it to her. "Once you call me, I'll figure everything out and text you the rest of the details you'll need to know." He said with a wink, grinning cheekily at her. "I think you'll enjoy it. Fights are usually pretty fun, if you know the right people. Like me." He said chuckling.

Adeline looked at him with a smile. "Alright," she said with a nice smile. She wasn't sure if she would enjoy watching a fight, but she was willing to give him a chance to prove that they are fun. She heard her friend turn around and ask, "Addy, who are you talking to?" Adeline looked over to see Jamie leaned forward to get a closer look at Jacob.

Jacob waved his hand at her friend Jaime, then extended his hand out to her. "Jacob." He said with a polite grin. His eyes finally shifting away from Adeline. He was trying to be as polite as he could, differ from his typical bad boy personality.

Adeline watched as Jamie introduced herself. Addy could already see that Jamie was being protective. She had always had a trouble of trusting people right off the bat. Adeline never knew why, but she could only hope that Jamie wouldn't be completely rude to the guy that she was talking to. She tried to mentally apologize to the guy. "So, Jacob, what are you doing out on this fine night?" Jamie asked curiously.

Jacob shrugged his shoulders, leaning back in his chair once he had shaken her hand. "Nothing really, I have the night off, nothin is going on with the guys, so I decided to come out here and chill." He explained softly. He was watching Jaime's body language and tone very closely. He was one to read people, and didn't like when someone was portraying rude or alpha type displays.

Adeline sighed, wishing that Jamie wouldn't get this defensive. "Um, so what's some of your favorite music?" she asked nervously. She didn't want Jamie to come off too strong and scare off a guy who seemed like he was perfectly nice just because she didn't trust people right off the bat. Addy figured that she might as well change the subject to something other than why they were in a bar.

Jacob olooked to Adeline as she spoke, a small smile forming on his face. "I like country music." He said and shrugged somewhat. "But I'll listen to whatever, as long as it nots screamo. I hate that stuff." He said and checked his phone for the time. Jacob knew he had to get going soon. But he didn't want to leave yet,he was enjoying th conversation between them.

She shrugged her shoulders. She noticed him looking at his phone, and hoped that she wasn't keeping him from his business.

Jacob grinned slightly and nodded, placing his phone on the bar next to him in case it rang, and so he could check the time quickly. "What about you? What's your favorite?" He asked, finishing off the fries he had ordered.

Adeline shrugged. "I like a little bit of everything, but I really like indie rock," she said. "Keeps me nice and calm." She smiled gently. She glanced at her friend who was looking at her like she had grown two heads. "Ever heard of Noah Gudersen?" She was trying to keep the conversation light and friendly.
