"I believe you," he murmured in agreement, distracted when he saw Michael taking a place on the balcony. At his admission, Gabriel gritted his teeth. This was not how he wanted the people to know, especially not Addison. When Michael kept talking, Gabriel balled his hands into fists, hiding his claws as they dug into his palms.

Lucas and Nathaniel joined Gabriel, putting a hand on either of his shoulders, looking up at Michael and growling to him, "say the word and we'll attack."

"Step down," he seethed, not wanting to cause a scene. His heart was already starting to beat faster and he fought against the urges to tear out Michael's throat.

When Addison touched his arm he calmed himself, not wanting to scare the princess. He looked at her, surprised at her words. He didn't think she'd take the marriage well, but he was grateful all the same.

"No, we'll go," he said smoothly, exchanging a glance between the twins. He turned to Addison, picking up her hand and kissing it, looking up at the young princess. "It was nice to see you again, beloved. I'll be seeing you soon."

Addison frowned when he said he would leave, "Okay." She said softly as he kissed her hand. She watched as he pulled away, "Goodnight." She said. She watched as he left then made her way up the stairs to her bedroom. She sighed as she stripped out of her dress as her bath was being prepared for her. She slipped into her bathtub and relaxed. She was glad that Gabriel had decide to leave without a scene. Though she was worried that things wouldn't go as planned. She got up then went to her bedroom and went to sleep. She held her blankets close as she slept.

The next day Addison got dressed then made her way downstairs. She was told she would be going to the werewolf village to see Gabriel and meet his family. She sighed as she finished her breakfast then went to the car and relaxed as they drove her to his place. She got out and looked over, seeing him. "Good morning." She said as he approached her.

Gabriel, Lucas and Nathaniel made a swift exit, ignoring the prying eyes of the others around them before they made their way into the forest, taking off into a run and transforming into their true wolf forms. They howled at the moon, releasing their pent up energy and ran back to the Lafayette castle, killing a few deer on the way. After a few kills, the three spent the night in Gabriel's bed chambers, talking about what the next day would bring.

The next morning Lucien got them up early for a training session before they straightened up. Nathaniel and Lucas continued with their training but Gabriel got ready so he'd look proper when the princess came. He waited by the gates for her to come over, smiling when he saw her. She looked as radiant as ever. He took her hand, kissing the back of it. "Good morning. Shall I show you around Lafayette castle? I doubt you have seen it in detail."

Addison nodded when he offered to show her around, "Sure show me around." She said. She let him lead her into the castle, glancing around as they walked inside. It was a bit cold, but she doubted that they noticed. Addison looked at a few of the pictures as they walked down the halls. Addison looked at him, "I'm sorry about last night." She said to him once they were upstairs and alone. She walked down the hallway, amazed at how big the place actually was. Addison got to the huge window at the end of the hallway and looked out of it with him. "How often to you visit the people in your pack?" She asked him as she looked at the small town the castle looked over. She bit her bottom lip lightly as she looked out the window. Addison looked at him, "Anything interesting you want to show me?" She asked.

He gently walked beside her, sticking close to her side, reaching out to take a hold of her hand once she shivered. "Are you cold? I should've thought ahead and brought you a jacket..." He let her lead the way down the hallway before he shook his head.

"It's alright, Addison. Trust me, it's not the first time that I've heard those things. They were a little unoriginal, actually." He chuckled slightly, a small smile on his face. He followed her to the window, studying her for a moment before looking out of it, looking over the village. "Very frequently, actually. I hope to take the crown one day, once my father can no longer rule, so I try to keep a good relationship with my pack. A pack is only as strong as those loyal to it."

He cleared his throat, nodding at her inquiry. "Well, there's one place I can think of. I think you'll like it." He moved away from the window, offering her his hand. "Do you trust me?"

Addison stared at him for a moment then took his hand, "As long as you don't kill me." She said, smiling. She walked with him then glanced around. "Um..so how upset is your pack going to be that you are marrying a human?" She asked. She was sure they had already smelled her presence. She held his hand tightly as she followed him. She was kind of worried about where he was taking her. Though she was excited at the same time. She liked that he had a good relationship with his people and she hoped that she wasn't going to mess that up.

"I'll try not to," he joked, taking her hand and leading her through the grounds.

They entered the forest and he let out a small sigh, shaking his head. "Some of them will not understand but it is for the best. There has been a war between our species for far too long and someone needs to put a stop to it. The major concern is that, as the only heir to the throne, I have to bear a child with the werewolf gene and it's harder because humans don't have that. That's where the division first started, when people began to realize that only certain people had the genes. It can be hard to tell who has it, though, because in some it lays dormant, usually the women."

"But you shouldn't worry too much about it. I'd protect you no matter what." He smiled at her before he guided her through the underbrush, showing her a hidden waterfall. It wasn't huge, but it was magnificent all the same.

Addison nodded as he finished speaking, "Well i hope they don't all hate me." She muttered more to herself. She smiled when they got to the clearing. "Wow this is amazing." She said. She slowly let go of his hand as she looked at the waterfall. Addison looked back at him, "So this is your hiding place?" She asked as she moved so she was in front of him. She smiled as she looked up at him. She had to admit that he was very attractive. He had a kind of danger to him that she liked and the other guys she had met didn't have it. Addison looked at the necklace hanging from his neck, seeing it had a pendent on it. "Whats this?" Seh asked as she ran her thumb over it.

"They won't. You'll make a fine queen someday," he assured her, smiling as he watched her take in the sight of the waterfall.

"I do come here to think a lot," he admitted, looking down at the small princess. She looked out of place in the forest, elegant and regal. The waterfall in the background fit.

He looked down, realizing that his pendant had crept out of his shirt, chuckling softly as her small fingers ran over it. "A pendant. I got it years ago, as a gift from my father. It was made from my birthstone. Do you like it?"

Addison nodded, "Yes its really pretty." She said as she let go of it. She was amazed that he even wore it. He didn't seem like the kind of guy to wear jewelry. Addison looked back at the water and turned away from him as she looked at the waterfall. She could get use to this because she loved nature. She didn't get many places outside of her garden so she had to sneak away to the forest. Addison looked around the area then looked back at him. "How often do you come here?" She asked.

He tucked the pendant back into his shirt once she let go of it, obscuring it from view. He wasn't ashamed to wear it or anything but it was sacred to him and he liked to keep it hidden. That way, it was protected.

He watched her as she looked over the waterfall, his eyes traveling over her. She looked content and he couldn't help but smile.

"I come here as often as I can, when I need to get away from everything. I like coming here to think. It's quiet, people never come through here. It's just nice to escape sometimes, from everything."

Addison looked at the waterfall, "Must be nice to have somewhere like this to go to." She said. She walked over to him again, "Do you have anything else interesting to show me?" She asked. His life seemed to be more interesting than hers was. Addison couldn't wait to find out more about his life. She glanced around the woods then took his hand as he started to walk again. She walked out of the woods with him, feeling a few people looking at them. She knew they probably smelled her and they didn't appear to be too thrilled. Addison stepped slightly closer to Gabriel.

"It does have its perks," he agreed, smiling as he took her hand and led her out of the woods and into town. He could feel eyes on them all over and he slightly tightened his hold on her hand. "It's alright, just ignore it," he murmured.

"Gabriel," a female voice called out to him and he glanced up, a small smile on his face.

"Hello Thalia," he greeted her kindly and she regarded them both with her hazel eyes, looking between them.

"This must be your new...mate." She pursed her lips, looking between them. "I guess she's okay, for a two legs and all. Must be an acquired taste."

Addison frowned at the girl's words and she wanted to say something back. She knew that she shouldn't though because it was her first day there. Addison continued to hold Gabriel's hand as she looked around for a few seconds before looking at the girl. She watched as she left then looked at Gabriel, "Well that was fun." She teased. She smiled up at him then looked over as her father approached them.

Caspian looked at them, "Having a good time?" He asked. He knew that soon they would need to be living with each other and he was going to let her live here. "Addison you will be moving here in the next two days." He explained.

Addison looked at her father, "There's no way you could get my things here in two days." She said. She had so much stuff and where would she sleep? She realized that they would make her sleep in Gabriel's room. What if he expected her to sleep with him? What did he want from her? Suddenly all these thoughts were flooding her mind and her heart raced.

"Thalia. One day, she'll be the queen that you're pledging your allegiance to. Until then, put the claws away and play nice." He watched her huff off before turning to Addison, chuckling softly and giving her hand a squeeze.

"Thalia and I have known each other since we were pups. I think she always thought that she'd become my betrothed one day," he explained before turning away and looking at Caspian once he approached.

He knew Addison would be moving into the kingdom soon but it still surprised him when he said she was moving in. He'd be sharing close quarters with her from now on and he glanced at her, smelling the worry off of her and hearing how her heartbeat picked up.

"The wedding is in a fortnight," he said gently, brushing his thumb over her palm. "But until then I think you should try not to worry too much."

Addison looked at him, "I will try." She said as he touched her hand. She was glad that she had him to keep her calm. She watched as her dad walked away to talk to someone else. Addison looked at Gabriel and hugged him. "Thanks for showing me around today." She said. She stepped back and smiled up at him. She was glad that he was actually opening up to her. "I don't know how they are going to put a whole wedding together in such a short time." She said as she shook her head.

Gabriel smiled when she hugged him and he gave her a squeeze in return. She smelled like cinnamon and something sweet. "You're quite welcome. I had fun today with you."

"Oh, I don't know. If my mother has a hand in this I guarantee it'll be done early," he said with a sigh, knowing how his mother could get. She wasn't an alpha female for nothing. Once she put her mind to something, it'd be on that thing until she accomplished it. "I'm sure it'll turn out beautiful and go off without a hitch," he assured her.

Addison smiled at him, "I sure hope so." She said. She hoped that everyone would adjust to everything quickly. Though she felt like it might take some time. "I guess i will see you tomorrow." She said as her dad pulled up with the car they came in. "Goodbye." She said as she got in the car.

She watched as one of the guys took her bag and took it inside. Addison ran her fingers through her hair as she glanced around the area. She walked inside, smiling a little when she saw Gabriel. "Care to show me the way to your room?" She asked.

The next morning Addison sighed as her father drove her to Gabriel's again. She got out with one of her bags, knowing she would have to stay now. "Goodbye." He smiled as he watched her leave before going back to the castle, watching over the kingdom from the big window in the hall.

The next morning, he got up early to see to it that Addison was taken care of. He walked downstairs, smiling when he saw her, and he nodded. "Of course. Right this way."

He led her up the spiral staircase and into his bedchambers, holding the door open so she could see the spacious room. He had cleared out some space for her things already. "I hope it's to your liking."
