"Of course. I'm happy that you like it." He smiled back at her, walking around and looking at the rows of flowers, gently brushing his fingers over the petals. "It's getting late, I suppose I should take you back to the castle. I'm sure that you want to get settled in and everything.." He held up a flower, tucking it behind her ear and letting it stand upright.

Addison smiled at him, "yea I should do that." She said. She walked with him into the castle then began to put some of her things away. Addison sighed as she sat at the end of the bed and looked around the room. She was amazed that he had such a nice room. She looked over as one of the maids came in and offered to get her bath ready. "Sure." She said as she stood up. She walked to the bathtub and looked down at the warm water before stripping down. She slipped into the tub and sighed.

Gabriel walked her back to the castle, making sure that she didn't get lost on the way to their room. He made sure she was taken care of before putting a flower over her pillow in a color that would match her eyes. He set out himself to find Lucas and Nathaniel, joining them in the tavern and discussing the next days' arrangements. Gabriel and Addison would be having a modified wedding, a union of both people. He wasn't sure what the day had for them but he hoped things would work out.

Addison finished taking a bath then got ready for bed. She smiled when she saw the flower on the pillow. Addison put the flower on the end table near the bed then climbed into the huge bed and turned out the lights. She shivered slightly, but pulled the covers closer. She let her eyes look around, feeling a little afraid of the new place. She closed her eyes, trying to fall asleep.

Gabriel made his way home after a while of hanging out with his friends. They were like his brothers and had been there for him since he was just a kid. They'd gone through their first change with him. He opened the door, his eyes immediately locking on Addison's small form curled up under the blankets. She looked even tinier on the huge bed. He left his shoes by the door and took off his shirt, exposing his bare chest to the cool air and he crept into bed, leaning over to kiss Addison's head. She might've been human but he didn't mind her one bit. He could get use to having her around.

Addison moved slightly when she felt him kiss her head. She felt the warmth of Gabriel's body once he climbed into the bed and snuggled against him. She slept silently and didnt move away from his body. She was glad that she wasn't cold anymore. Addison woke up the next morning and sighed. She looked over at Gabriel and smiled at his sleeping form. He looked so peaceful and it made her happy. She sat up and ran her fingers through her long brown hair.

Gabriel held Addison's cold body against his while he slept, his body temperature immediately warming her. He slept through the night until he felt her moving around on the bed. He woke up, smiling when he saw her sitting on the bed near him, and sat up, letting the blanket fall off of him and pool around his waist. He eyed her, looking her over before he said finally, "you look beautiful. How are you feeling?"

Addison looked over at him, "Thank you and i'm good. I'm debating on what i want to eat though." She said, laughing soflty. She laid back again and looked up at him. "How did you sleep?" She asked him as she let her hand move to his back and moved lightly down to his lower back. Even his back was muscular and she was amazed by it. Addison smiled at him when he looked back at her. She was kind of happy that he was going to be hers.

"I'm sure we can find something suitable for the princess to eat," he teased her, one of his strong arms wrapping around her and holding her close to him when they both laid back down. He relaxed as her fingers trailed down his back and settled onto his lower back, his warm skin touching hers. "I slept wonderfully. Did you?" His eyes found hers and he smiled, brushing her hair away from her face, his fingers brushing against her cheek.

Addison nodded, "I slept really good." She said. "I was a lot warmer when you came home though." She said, giggling. She smiled as she let him rain his fingers through her hair. "Seriously need to get heat in this room so i don't freeze to death." She said as she snuggled into his chest. She looked up at him as she let her fingers played with the necklace around his neck. Addison jumped when she heard a blood curdling scream from outside. She looked at Gabriel before she sat up and got out of bed. Addison pulled on her robe and walked downstairs with him.

Addison frowned when she saw the front door open and the dead body on the porch. Addison looked at him then walked with him. She was shocked that this man was shot. She covered her mouth when she saw the man's lover over him.

"You promised this would stop!" She screamed at Gabriel and his father. She gasped as the blood from her lover got on her hand and burned her. "What the hell?" she said.

Addison stopped Gabriel from going to touch the man, "Don't the bullet had wolfspane in it." She said, knowing it was Micheal. She looked at the man and watched as the woman pulled a small box with Addison's name on it. Addison took it from her and rolled her eyes at the letter from Micheal. She opened it and pulled out a necklace that had pullets hanging on it. She knew it was a necklace the hunters usually gave their lovers. "It was micheal." She said.

"Are you kidding? I am the heat," he said with a grin, letting her snuggle up to him. He relaxed as her little fingers played with his necklace, looking down at her and studying her intently with his watchful eyes. When he heard the scream from outside he immediately stiffened, climbing out of bed and grabbing a shirt, quickly putting it on while they rushed downstairs.

His mother and father were already there, along with some of the guards. Gabriel's gaze hardened as he realized what had happened and he put his arm around Addison, shielding her from thr gruesome sight.

"You need to go get ready. Go with mother for now. My father and I will handle this," he told her firmly, his gaze hard. "Go. You will be safe with mother and her guards."

Addison looked at him, "Gabriel don't go looking for him." She said. She looked at his mother then went with her. She got dressed then sat with her and waited for Gabriel. She looked down at the necklace in her hand, not understanding why Micheal would do this so soon. Perhaps her dad had actually kicked him out. Though it was not looking good for her. She knew the pack would blame her presence.

Gabriel's mother took her hand gently, showing her to a room filled with other werewolf women. "Family from other covens are coming for the royal wedding. Until then, I think it's best to let the men handle their business while we prepare for this evening. It's a wedding, after all."

Gabriel and Lucien made sure to guard up the castle well but also to have a search party out. It would not be long until they had him in their grasp. In the meantime, Lucas and Nathaniel helped Gabriel make sure that the family arrived safely.

Addison got dressed for the party they were having that night. She knew tomorrow she would be officially marrying Gabriel and she was worried that Micheal would try to sabotage it. She stood in their bedroom, staring in the mirror. So far all she had done was cause a death and broke apart an innocent family.

Addison walked outside, seeing Gabriel with Lucien and Nathaniel. She stood there with her arms crossed til he looked at her. She took his arm and pulled them away from the people that were going in so they were alone. "Gabriel i don't feel right about this." She whispered. "People are already being hurt because of me being here." She said, doubting everything already.

When Gabriel noticed Addison, he was taken by how beautiful she looked and he followed her, letting her lead him by the arm to the side. "It's going to be alright, Addison. We knew going into this that some people would not agree but in the end everything's going to work out in our favor. They aren't being hurt because of you, they're being hurt because of the backwards thinking of others. The ends will justify the means," he assured her, tilting her chin up. "You look beautiful. You'd look even more beautiful if you smiled." He gave her a small smile, gently playing with a loose curl at the nape of her neck.

Addison listened to him as he spoke and smiled, "Thank you." She said. She kissed his cheek then stepped back, "You should probably go get ready." she said as she fixed her dress. Addison knew that he would keep her safe and she had to try to do the same for him. She looked back at the people walking in and sighed. "This is going to be a long night." She said as she took his hands in hers. "I'm sorry about everything that happened today." She said.

"Yeah, I'm going. I'll get ready and then I can accompany you around. My family is coming and I'd really like for you to meet them." He squeezed her little hands, looking at her and shaking his head. "It's quite alright. You don't have to apologize to me. I'm just happy to be here with you." He smiled, kissing her forehead gently before he disappeared upstairs, changing into his dress clothes as quickly as he could. He went back downstairs afterwards, reclaiming her hand. "Now, let's go enjoy our engagement party."

Addison took his hand then nodded, "Alright let's go." She said. She walked into the party with him, amazed at how many people there was. She looked at him and smiled, "So do i get to have the fun party you described to me the other night?" She asked him as they walked. It was already appearing to be different from the parties her father threw.

Gabriel smiled when she spoke, looking around the room, nodding towards the people who called to them. He glanced at Addison, nodding while he chuckled. "Yes, I think you will. Once the party gets a little more started, I'm sure it'll move outside and you'll see what I mean." He led her over to the side, getting a drink for her and handing it over. "In the meantime, would you care for a dance?"
