I See Fire

"I can get you from your apartment." Shane said as he slowed his pace to keep in time with her. "I look forward to seeing you tonight." He said as the approached her class. He hesitated for a moment before wrapping his arms around her for a brief moment. "It was really nice seeing you again Lucia I'll pick you up tonight just send me your address." He said as he took a few steps back.

"It gotta get to class or I'm gonna be late." He said as he noticed the time and went quickly down the stairs waving to her. He was kinda bummed about class but he could afford to not get an A and he'd get to see her again later so that was good.

Teegan sighed as he pulled away from the kiss breathing heavily. She looked into his eyes with a small smile on her lips. She released her grip on his shirt only just realizing how tightly she'd been gripping onto it. She really didn't want to go to class but she didn't want to seem desperate he had enough of those girls chasing after. She wasn't sure why but that thought kind of made her a little upset the fact that other girls were needlessly throwing themselves at him.

"Ya I should get going." She said with a soft sigh as she finally started to get her breathing to normal. "I'll see you tonight then." She added with a small smile as she took a step back. She'd make it to her class this and fight the urge to just leave and go anywhere with him. She leaned up kissing him soft again pulling away before she forgot that she needed to get off to class. "Bye Taylor." She said as she walked backwards for a moment waving before turning to face the right direction for class. She walked off trying to get him off her mind though she couldn't help but touch her lips with a smile she could still feel the warmth of his and took every once of her to walk into the building and got to class when all she wanted to do was turn around and go back to him.

Lucia smiled a little and nodded her head. "Thanks - that will be great." She said with a smile and then was surprised as he pulled her into a hug. She certainly wasn't expecting that but she hugged him back anyway. He was warm and comfortable. She wouldn't mind cuddling up to him - and even more. Should she chance a kiss on the cheek? No, not for now... She could save that for later.

"Can't wait for tonight." She said with a smile as he said he had to go to class and she sincerely wished they didn't have to. Having this date now would be all the better. "Have fun in class." She said and watched him walk for a moment before finally tearing her eyes away from him and making herself go to class. Of course she needed to pay attention but her mind was very distant now. All she could think about was him.

Taylor chuckled a little as he looked down at her. She looked so star struck - as if she wasn't expecting his kiss to be that good. If he hadn't been so lost and dazed himself, he probably would've pointed such a thing out, but he didn't want to be a complete dick after they had just shared such a beautiful moment.

He was overjoyed when she pressed up for another gentle kiss. He almost offered to take her back to his place and show her a good time - but that was really no way to go about a good sort of relationship. He would have to settle for what she wanted with him tonight. "Bye Teegan - have fun in class." He debated skipping for himself. He knew a lecture was going to be lost on him today when all he could think about was her and that damn good kiss that they had just shared but he had to be responsible and go anyway. That was the best thing he could do.

Shane smiled to himself as he left for class. He was pretty excited to see her again he'd almost forgotten how cool Lucia was almost but not completely. He went off to class and took notes and paying attention for the most part. He only had one other class so he went through that before walking back to his apartment it wasn't to far from campus he just preferred to ride with Teegan for obvious reasons.

He passed time through the day watching movies and playing games as he waited for Lucia to text him her address. He didn't really think he needed to change since he was just hanging out with her as a friend though he might have changed if it was Teegan. He decided to text Teegan as he waited though she had just gotten out of school and was getting ready for work. He sighed as he flopped down on the with a sigh.

Teegan payed enough attention to take her test and she left going through to her next two classes and she was done for the day. She was glad she couldn't really focus much all she thought about was Taylor and that kiss. She wanted to do so much more than that but the kiss held her off at least for now.

She got home texting Taylor the address with a small smile and telling him to meet her at 6:30. She changed her clothes slipping on a pair of short tight black leather shorts that went to her waist, her red midriff shirt and a pair of black heels before fixing her makeup making it a little more bold than her day. She looked pretty good just not like the girl people were used to seeing at school or around town but that was her normal night look. She smiled at herself as she left her apartment locking up and hopping into her car. She was really excited about tonight and not just for the usual reasons.

Lucia was so happy that she went through class in such a good mood. She tried to pay attention but it didn't go so well - and she was glad that she only had one more and then she was done. Between classes she texted him her apartment address and smiled happily. She was so glad to be able to be hanging out with him and it made her heart race just thinking about it.

She went home and changed into a nice sundress, happy to be seeing him. She pulled up her hair into a nice little messy bun and applied some makeup. She wanted to look extra good for him. It wasn't explicitly a date but it was pretty explicit in her opinion and she was certainly happy about that. She was excited to see what could come from it.

Taylor smiled when she sent him the text of where to meet her and he smirked a little to himself. If he could have his way at all today, he would be getting more of her sweet kisses - and he couldn't wait for that. He was mostly certain that she couldn't wait for it either and that exhilarated him. He was going to be spending even more time with her and he was going to make her his.

He put on a clean, crisp t-shirt and dark denim jeans. He ran a hand through his hair and then left, plugging the address into his phone's gps so he could show up on time. He pulled into the lot and looked around, waiting for Teegan to show up.

It was finally time for Shane to go pick up Lucia. He left his apartment heading to his car and starting on his way to Lucia's apartment. He double checked to make sure he had everything he needed which was just his keys and wallet so he hadn't forgotten anything.

He smiled to himself as he reached her apartment. Dicing against just texting her that he was there he went up to knock on her door. He smiled as she opened up her door and he was shocked she looked amazing. "You look really nice." He said as he looked at her. "Are you ready?"

Teegan smiled as she pulled into the lot seeing Taylor already there. She was a little hesitant in getting out of the car unsure of what he might think. She finally got out of the car after what felt like hours though was probably only a few minutes. They were the only ones there but there was another lot for parking on the other side this was just easier for them to get out when they needed to though it was a little bit of walk to the building.

"Hi. You made it." Teegan said as she walked over to him. "We need to walk a little bit but the building is just down this road." She said as she looked him over. He looked pretty amazing and it just reminded her of the kiss from earlier.

Lucia was so happy when he knocked on her door. Such a gentleman coming to pick her up rather than a text that meant she had to just walk out to the car. Her heart was racing because she was really excited to see him and she wanted to make a good impression on him.

"Thanks," she said, blushing a little as she looked down at herself, playing with her fingers softly. She pulled on a jacket that complimented the dress and then smiled. "Yeah - all ready indeed!" She said with a smile. She almost nearly reached out to hold his hand or something but fought the urge and just smiled as she locked her door. "To the car!" She said childishly and happily.

Taylor smiled a little when he saw Teegan's car pull up and stayed in his car until she finally got out and approached him. "Well don't you look...sexy." He greeted her as his eyes drank in the sight of her. She was gorgeous and he had to fight all urges to kiss her again. He wasn't going to be able to fight that for long.

"Of course I made it!" He said when she said hello - as if she doubted him. He said he would be there and he would... For the perks of being with a sexy girl like her. "Do what exactly should I be prepared for when we walk to this building?" He asked her, casually placing an arm over her shoulder.

Shane laughed slightly as he walked with her to his car. It was a little hard for him to take his eyes off of her. Honestly he knew she was pretty but she was fucking gorgeous. It finally clicked to him that she might have considered this a date. He didn't want to say it wasn't but he wasn't really sure how to act. Hesitantly he reached out grabbing her hand and leading her to the car.

He walked her to the car opening the door for her. He got in on his side starting the car and driving. "So we can grab something to eat at this really good food truck and walk to the river from there." He said with a smile as he looked over at her for a moment.

"Thanks that was the plan." Teegan said with a smile as she walked along with him. She leaned up kissing the corner of his jaw. She grinned as the walked she was happy to be with him again and she was trying not to be to all over him though it was hard because she really just wanted him.

"We'll there's a couple fights going on in the back room and then the rave should be going by the time the fights are over." Teegan said with a sheepish smile as she looked at him waiting for his reaction. "I kinda host the fights with my friend Jason."

Lucia was surprised when he grabbed her hand. She wasn't exactly expecting it but she was happy that he did. It made her nervous too. Like...was her hand sweaty? Was she holding onto his hand tightly enough? It made her nervous but she was just enjoying his touch for now.

She smiled as he offered a plan and she nodded her head. "Sounds good." She said happily. "I love food trucks." It was going to be nice to be alone with him for awhile. She tried not to overthink things since that was normally how she was and she just wanted to enjoy this time with him.

Taylor couldn't hold back a groan as she kissed his jaw and he looked down at her with a sideways smile. He was happy that he was the one with her and the one that got to kiss her. He was surprised when he heard her description of what this was and nodded his head. "Ah - so you are a wild child like I thought!" He said with a smile, kissing the side of her forehead.

He chuckled slightly to himself and listened as she described the fact that she hosted it and he nodded his head. "Oh - so you're not just looking sexy for me - you're the eye candy for the fight!" He proposed with a laugh and stepped behind her so that he could wrap his arms around her shoulders and rest his chin down right by her ear. "Don't forget you're mine." He whisperer to her teasingly, nibbling on her earlobe.

"Alright then." Shane said with a smile as he drove a little ways away. It wasn't too far but not really walking distance unless they wanted to walk for a few hours which was definitely not the case.

He parked not to far away from one of the best food trucks in the county. He hopped out going to her side and opening up her door. He wasn't entirely sure that he was ready for whatever this turned out to be but there really wasn't any going back was there? Walking up to the food truck he stopped at the menu looking over at her. "Is there anything that sounds good to you?"

Teegan laughed at his little comment about her being a wild child. She couldn't help but smile at his groan she loved that just a simple kiss could make him react like that. "I guess you could say something like that. I was supposed to be all prim and proper but it was so boring. Plus it's easy money." She said with a grin.

She let out a soft whimper as he nibbled on her ear lobe. "I'm yours?" She asked leaning back into him. "I made sure to look extra sexy for you though." She murmured turning slightly to look up at him touching his face gently. "Don't worry I don't plan on going home with anyone else." She teased with a wink not that she planned on going home with him at least she wouldn't admit it just yet.

Lucia smiled a little as she followed him up to the food truck and she looked over the menu. Food trucks always overwhelmed her anlittle - but she liked trying something new. "I don't know - have you been here before? What would you recommend?" She bumped him with her hip lightly, smiling at him.

She was excited to be with him right now though. This was something that she never expected to happen - not in her wildest dreams, but she was really glad that he would when look at her, this shy girl.

Taylor chuckled a little and shook his head. "Just easy money? I'm sure you enjoy it, don't you?" He asked her teasingly, still holding onto her. He liked that she was a wild girl like that.

"Well, if you want to be, you can be mine." He said happily, holding onto her tightly and kiss the side of her head. He chuckled at her words and nuzzled against her. "So does that mean you're going home with with me?" He let out a laugh and held her very tightly. It wasn't like he needed that - he was perfectly okay with just having this time with her like this.

"The broccoli mac and cheese with blackened chicken." Shane said with a laugh. It was actually one of his favorite places to go eat they new him by name.

She was interesting he didn't really expect her to be that playful but he'd been wrong about people before and probably would again. It just went to show that people weren't always what others expected. Lucia was one example.

"I like it." Teegan admitted with a smile. "It's fun and interesting." She liked watching the fights it was a thrill of hers trying to figure out if any of them could win after getting the shit beat out of them.

"I'd like to be yours but we'll see how you fit into my world first." She said with a smile a small laugh escaping her lips. "We will see I could or I could wait months or years."

Lucia smiled lightly and nodded her head. "Well aren't you just a food truck expert?!" She asked him teasingly and then smiled. "I'll have that - it sounds really good."

She was playing it really calm and collected on the outside but on the inside she was a sweaty anxious mess. This boy did things to her that she couldn't even explain and it was perfect.

Taylor chuckled a little at the challenge and nodded his head. He was glad to be here with her - who knew, maybe one day he would even do some of the fighting - he had some experience in his younger days with three older brothers. He had to see what this was all about - and steal her heart first.

"Whatever works for you doll face. I've got all the time in the world." Man he was amazed at this girl. She was so amazing and he wanted to make her his, just like he said.

"Alright then I'll order." Shane said as he moved towards Benny. "Two broccoli mac and cheese's with blackened chicken Benny." He said as he pulled out his wallet handing his card to Benny. "Is that your girl?" Benny asked with a smile looking at Lucia as he charged the card handing back the card.

Shane wasn’t exactly sure how to respond put in the spot like that. "Um.. We're on a date." He stated though he was pretty embarrassed having to out Lucia through that. Teegan always correcting Benny and it kinda stung so he was slightly expecting Lucia to correct him.

Teegan laughed slightly as she saw the building come into view. She really hoped he would fit well though she didn't really doubt it to much. "Just keep up with me. She said with a wink as as she grabbed his hand pulling him forward. "Jason's gonna be pissed if I'm not there before the line up." She said as she pulled him along slipping into the building from the back not to far from where the fights would start. "Down this hall." She said before pulling him into a large room though it was small in comparison to where the rave would be. Jason stood there waiting.

"I beat you." Jason said with a playful wink as he looked over at Teegan. A small frown came to his face when he noticed Taylor. "He's not Shane is he?" He asked as he looked the guy over. He'd heard stories of Shane and he seemed like he'd cause them problems.
"No this is Taylor. Don't worry he's cool." Teegan said with a smile as she nudged Taylor slightly. She really hoped they wouldn't clash to much because she loved the life and she really did like Taylor.

Lucia nodded her head a little and then giggled as he called the man by his name. It made her laugh and she was trying to come up with a wise retort when she heard the exchange and she blushed a little, looking between the two with wide eyes and feeling confident and scared all at the same time.

It was nice to have Shane say it finally. She knew a date was how this felt but he hadn't really called it a "date" so maybe she had just misinterpreted the signs. "Yeah, I'm Lucia." She stepped up beside him and looked up at him smiling. She couldn't help it. Having him confirm it just made her happy and it made her want to never stop smiling. Never did she think she would ever have the guts to go out with him.

Taylor was just drinking in the views as he followed behind Teegan. It seemed that with one eye he constantly watched her, enjoying that view, and the other explored where they were headed and what they were getting themselves into. He was sorta excited to find out about her secret life here and - to just get to know her more in general.

He saw her another guy, Jason, who he assumed was secretly in love with her and he rolled his eyes, shaking his head but playing it cool. Of course everywhere she went there were guys after her. Of course. He didn't let it get to him too much. "Oh, I'm cool, am I?" He asked her teasingly and wrapped his arms around her, kissing her cheek.

"Good to meet you Lucia." He said before looking over at Shane with a serious look on his face.She's a pretty one Shane. Be nice to her." Benny said as he went to start making their orders. Shane looked over at Lucia. "Do you wanna sit and talk while we wait?" He asked embarrassed at Benny's comment.

He led Lucia to a table nearby with a smile. "So I realized I don't really know a lot about you." He stated with a small frown. "What kind of things do you like to do? What's your favorite movie?" He asked a few simple questions to try and figure out just a little bit more about her.

"Yes very." Teegan said with a smile as she kissed his neck turning around to look at him."So part of my job is getting the guys to make higher bets which kind of includes making them think they stand a chance but remember I'm yours." She whispered in his ear as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Well they should be getting here soon so you need to appear available. You have five minutes then separate." Jason said with a chuckle as he walked away. She smiled leaning up and placing a soft kiss along his jaw line letting her hand rest around his neck happily.

Lucia blushed a little at Benny's comment and refused to cast a glance over to Shane. She wanted to know what he was thinking right now. Honestly she didn't know how he really felt but she wanted to - and hey, he was the one they had called this a date - so she was only taking his word for it.

She smiled a little as he led her to a seat and he started asking her questions. "Well I guess you're right." They didn't know a lot about each other - but she knew that this was going well anyway. "Well you already know I like to write... And to clear my head sometimes, I like to go running. I also would love to travel - see the world!" She smiled and then shrugged. "I can't pick a favorite movie - that's impossible." She fiddled with her fingers.

Taylor chuckled a little at her reaction and then frowned a little. Of course she was a marketing ploy to get guys to bid. Any guy would throw money to a girl if it made them seem manly and the girl then seemed interested. He was comforted by her words a little and smiled. "Damn I like hearing you say that." He chuckled.

"Oh so you're going to tease me for five minutes - is that it?" He asked her and shook his head. He turned his head and met her lips where she was leaning in for his jawline. His hands went up to her cheeks and held her close, wanting to keep her in this kiss forever. Her lips were so soft and smooth. It made him feel so lucky to have her - and not to mention hot, super hot at her kisses.
