"Its harder. You end up sitting there, and you cant turn on the tv or computer without seeing the story. There isn't much you can do or talk to." He said softly, reliving it as he spoke.
Evelyn nodded and sighed,"Hopefully it'll blow over with my image intact, not to sound.... like an ass or anything but my career kind of relies on it," she said to him gently.
He shook his head. "No, I understand. You didn't do anything wrong. Your career shouldn't suffer because you got mixed up with a dickhead." He murmured as he pulled into the restaurant.
"I..." He chuckled nervously. "I didn't get much help with it. I mostly spent time with Alexandra, but when she was busy, I was alone. And it was the worst." He admitted. "Thats why I know what you're going through."
"Then we'll order one of those, because that sounds delicious." He smiled as they were seated. The reporters had definitely followed them, because there were flashing lights everywhere. It reminded him of when it happened to him and he sighed, looking at her with a small smile.
"Well, I was to turn school year round - schooling the way it is just isn't working. The American Education System is ranked 14th and is ranked 2nd in ignorance and 24th in literacy if we just focus more on changing how school is all together we can out beat every other country," she said to him smiling a little.
She smiled,"It's my goal to at least change it a little and leave a legacy," she said to him happily, "I'm almost finished with my second bachelors and then I can really put all my time into it, while it doesn't pay much it's better than just being one of those politicians,"
