"No you're right. It would be nice to see a change made in the US. It's necessary. Grades shouldn't be the only way a student is defined." He said softly
"Exactly, grades are just a totaled number but if we defined students by their passion and drive for a certain topic should be how they're graded and I also think math, reading, english and sciences should be a one time course," she said to him.
She nodded a little,"Exactly, I think that going to classes for nine whole months only to have to take basically the same course again the next year is ridiculous," she said to him.
Alexandra chewed on her lip as she typed, going through all of the current news stories. All of the major sites were covering it, and it was showing that she wasn't back down. But Alex knew better than to think it was time to breathe.
She stood and sighed, waiting for Evelyn to come in so they could begin working on bettering her image. She had some interviews if she was willing, she just needed to find out first.
She smiled,"I saw that this morning!" she said as she took a seat in the chair, "This is my brother Liam, he insisted on bringing you flowers," she said to her.
"Oh," She smiled a little, looking at the flowers. "How nice, thank you so much." She said, pointing to the table. "You can put them there,"
"So I have some interviews lined up if you're interested. Now that your image isn't so negative, we can work on making it positive. Public appearances and such." She added.
"By the way, I have Jason coming over, he's going to take you out for lunch."
"Nothing too too big. I'm not about to put you on the todays show." She said quickly. "Public appearances at schools, small interviews. Nothing major. Just to show that you can do more, and to give them something new to talk about."
She nodded a little, "Alright so not talking about the issue but real issues?" she said as she crossed her legs, "I will figure out topics of discussion,"
"Yes. If I were to put you on tv right now, they wouldn't let you get a word in edgewise. All they'd want to know about is the governor. So i have a friend who is a newspaper editor, he'll come and take some pictures of you at a school, you can make a speech and he'll ask questions." She explained, leaning against her chair.
"Right now I just want you on dates. This may happen in a few days, I'll let you know. Could be two or three days. But Jason should be here soon." She nodded
