"I wouldn't trust anyone else with this, Jason is a great person. You can meet him if you'd like, He should be here any second." She smiled a little.

Jason walked in and smiled a little, giving a half wave. "Hey," He murmured.

Evelyn smiled a little and got up, "Hey," she said softly as she walked over to him, "Well, give me a call and keep me posted," she smiled at Alexandra.

Liam smiled and stood up walking over to Jason, "I'm Liam, Evelyns brother,"

"Nice to meet you, I'm Jason." He said reaching out his hand.

Alex nodded. "Will do, just keep going places." She added, sitting at her desk.

Evelyn smiled and grabbed Jason's hand, "Alright, I will," she smiled a little.

"You treat her right, you hear me... she deserves nothing but the best," Liam told Jason.

"Of course. I will do my best to keep her smiling." He said, turning to Evelyn. "Ready?"

She nodded a little,"Yeah, I'm ready," she said to him lightly, "I'll see you later," she said shoving her brother playfully.

Liam smiled a little,"Behave," he said pointedly with a tease.

"Jason is well behaved," Alex grinned. "You don't have to worry."

Jason laughed and headed outside with her. "Your brother is nice."

She smiled,"He is protective by nature - he can't help it," she laughed a little.

Liam smiled,"Well, he better be!," he laughed.

"He is, he's smart, polite. Definitely a good guy." She smiled. "Thank you so much for the flowers, you really shouldn't have."

"Most brothers are, so I'm not too surprised." He laughed

Liam nodded a little,"I don't mind really you're doing so much for Evelyn - she should have known better but it is what it is," he said to her.

She smiled a little,"So where to?" she asked him.

"How about some food, then we can do something fun? I'm off work today." He suggested.

"I'm just doing my job." She smiled. "Evelyn made a mistake, everyone does. But she was also targeted. This guy is a jerk, and i can't wait to expose him."

She smiled a little,"Alright, food sounds good I'm starving," she admitted with a small laugh then sighed, "How about we go get some burgers," she said to him as she held his hand in her own.

He nodded a little,"I'm sure he was, but you know as her brother I feel obligated to hold her accountable for her actions," Liam murmured, "He was married, and she knew this - I never pictured her as someone who would do that,"

"She made a mistake." She said softly. "Everyone does. And I'm not condoning cheating, not at all. But maybe she felt a connection, which started it but when she realized she shouldn't have it was too late."

"I know the best burger place, over by the shop." He smiled a little. "Best burger you ever had."

She smiled,"Then lets go there, I'm starving and I need some good fries," she sighed a little.

He nodded a little, "I know, but I guess.. coming from where we did I feel like I'm the only one who remembers the mistakes our birth mom made, and I was hoping she'd learn from them,"

"Sometimes you have to learn the hard way." She sighed. "It's not the most fun, but definitely effective. Maybe this is how she has to learn,"

"The best fries, I promise." He smiled, leading her to his car

She smiled a little as she walked to his car and opened the door,"Great, I'm excited," she said to him.

He nodded a little,"Alright," he said to her as he sighed, "Well, hopefully she learns, I worry,"

"She will, but she'll need you and your parents now more than ever. It's important. Jason is great and will be there too, I think they've got a sort of connection. They got along instantly." She said with a smile.

He climbed in and started the car. "They'll fill you up. They're huge."

She smiled a little as she looked at him, "Well, thats good to know cause I haven't had a decent burger in ages," she said to him.

He smiled,"I know, and as long as he treats her right I don't care,"

"He will. He's one of those few guys that is a really good guy. But I'm sure no matter what I say, you'll still worry." She murmured. "Don't worry, he'll treat her right."

"this will be the best burger you've ever had, I promise." He smiled, driving towards the place.

She smiled at him, "Well, I'm happy you enjoyed that Italian place we went to," she said to him.

He nodded,"Yeah, it's my job to worry, as he brother it's always been my job. Ever since we were adopted, I've kind of taken it upon myself to myself sure she is okay," he murmured.
