"I guess that means I'll be your protector tonight?" Ashton teased lightly, honestly enjoying himself. Most parties he went to, he didn't really enjoy unless he was drunk. Right now, he only had a drink or two in his system and it wasn't affecting him much - which was probably better, since he was now meant to keep an eye on Davina. "You're not going to forget about me being the best person you know in the morning, are you?" He quirked a brow, teasing tone still present, but he was actually curious. "Because, you know, I'm hoping to score some brownie points with this."
Aria couldn't help but to smile when she heard Luke's laugh. It'd been too long since she last heard it and it made her feel a little better about this whole confrontarion. "Of course it's still true," she chimed but sighed to his question. "It's not that I didn't think it would work, Luke. I just didn't think it would be fair to you, for you to see your friends with their girls but know that I was on the other side of the country. It was like I would be making you wait and I couldn't do that to you."
