"Well... we uhm we're not sure we need another," she said seriously as she looked at her mother then wet her lips, "He'd perfectly healthy and well to be quite frank I didn't much care for being pregnant - I went over due with him," she said to her honestly.

"I should have a son," She said softly. "I should try again for one," She murured. "If I get sick, then I do, but I should try again."

"Nonsense, an heir and a spare is needed, you know this, dear." She said. "I can have the physician called for to check your health for another child.'

"He's not even weaned yet, and I haven't even gotten my cycle since the post birth bleeding; its better to wait if we decide as a team to have another baby," she said sighing a little as she wet her lips.

He looked at her, "If thats what you want," he said softly as he looked at her.

She chewed on her lip. "I mean... Honestly I don't want to have another baby. But I feel like since your estate can't go directly to her, we need a son to be able to help her."

He shrugged. "I'm content with one son, I don't need a second," He said honestly.

"Not until you've had another, I think the physicisn should come by anyway." Her mother insisted. "Lily, what do you think.'

"I'm happy with the one we have," she said to her lightly, "I am content not having anymore children," Lily knew her mother wouldn't understand, lily was the youngest of eight children. The idea of going through that seven more times made her want to vomit.

He nodded, "We can try once more if you want but I won't push it," he said to her lightly.

She chewed on her lip. "I think we should, but in a month after I'm fully healed," She murmured.

He nodded in agreement.
"Well I can see you both seem to be set, but we can talk about it more once your father arrives." Her mother sighed. "What do you do during the day?" She asked the both of them

"I'm mostly with the baby, he likes to be in the sun so I'll nurse him outside sometimes in the gardens or I'll read to him in here - then we usually have dinner together," she said looking to Luhan, she missed when he actually talked to her.

"That seems quite soon," he said surprised as he thought about it then nodded, "If its what you want to do then I'm fine, I understand the necessity but if it doesn't happen I won't be upset,"

"You don't seem to like the idea of it," She said softly. "What are you worried about?"

"I stay out of the way, she seems to do better without me present most of the time." He said, crossing his arms.

He swallowed hard, "Losing you," he said to her softly as he looked at her

"Not because I want him to he is just stubborn," she muttered softly as she sipped her tea.

She looked at him, not knowing what to say. His expression showed her that he cared about her way more than she had thought he did. She cupped his cheek and pulled him to her, kissing him. She hadn't kissed him in ages, but she felt it was what she wanted to do.

"Isn't it because I would get in the way of what you're doing during the day?" He asked, looking at her.

She rolled her eyes, "I'm not doing anything during the day and you know it, you're just scared that you might actually give a crap about me," she muttered as she shook her head. "If I had known men were this stubborn I would have definitely prepared myself better,"

He kissed her back and closedh is eyes - she ahdn't done this in a long while but he wasn't about to complain.

She pulled away and sighed. "I'm not going anywhere, I promise. I don't have anywhere else to go," She smiled weakly.

"Of course I care?" He said angrily. "Why else would I have been upset?"

HEr mother looked back and forth between the two of them. "Lily?"

"I just looked at him through a window and you act like betrayed you! You turned me away in the hallway, and you treated me so coldly," she said to him as she felt her eyes water, "I never once thought of going that path again, I care too damn much every time I said I love you you never even said anything back," she said to angrily.

"Its not fair that you treat me like this when I've been a good wife, I messed up, I'll be the first to admit it but I NEVER crossed THAT line because I knew it was wrong," she said to him, "I love you so much,"

He looked at her and smiled a little,"I don't want you to die," he said softly as he looked at her.

She sighed. "I'll wait until she's a bit older and then decide," She said to him. "I don't want to push it."

He stared at her and crossed her arms. "Right, because being a good wife means getting servants barred from the house because you can't be trusted?"

Her mother raised her eyebrows. "What's going on?"

"This is between us, nothing you need to worry about," Luhan said to her. He didn't want her parents involved.

"Thats not fair that was months ago!" she yelled at him angrily, "And if it wasn't for that moment then he would have never been conceived and you know it; because you would have kept yourself locked away than bed me," she said to him, "I have been good, I have done everything thats asked of me, I've given you a son, I bedded you not even out of necessity but because I WANTED TO," she said to him pushing some hair out of her eyes.

"And suddenly I'm the next jezebel cause I looked at ANOTHER MAN through a WINDOW, and not even in a flirty manner I was showing off OUR SON!" she yelled at him as a maid took the baby, "You're unbelieveable," she whispered then closed her eyes.

Lily looked at him, "I just want us to be happy,"

He nodded a little bit as he looked at her,, "It'd be a good idea, I don't want to stress your body out,"

He looked at her mother and sighed. "I think it might be best if you visited us another time," He said simply before looking at her. "Maybe next time it won't be the same."

She leaned against him and closed her eyes, she was tired and Titan came up,laying on their legs. "And if I don't have another child, you promise you're okay?"

He nodded a little as he looked at her, "OF course I'd be fine," he said lightly, "Sleep, you need rest,"

She wiped her eyes and sniffled as she sat down burying her face in her hands, this was the first time they'd spoken in a while and she was tired of the distance. She missed sleeping next to him, and talking with him; his laugh.

She shook her head. "No I'm fine like this," She mumbled. "A little hungry, she might be hungry too."

He escorted her mother out and sighed, rubbing his face. He didn't know what was going to happen if they ket on like this.

She sniffled then poured herself some hot tea, her heart was aching in a way she'd never felt before. She looked at the tea then stood up and began to walk to the room she'd been sleeping in.

He nodded a little, "I'll call for the wet nurse and someone to bing you food," he said to her

She sighed. "I might as well feed her myself, my chest feels like it's going to explode and otherwise I'd need to empty them," She said. "Just hand her to me, but I would like some food."

He walked into the room and sighed. "I sent your mother and a letter for your father. I think it best they don't stay with us for the time being."
