"We'll do whatever we can to help." Callie assured him with a small smile. She could tell that he'd started to lose hope and she didn't want that to be the case at all. She was determined to help him figure out a way to save his brother, and when she set her mind to something, she didn't give up. "We're going to figure something out, Sam. I'm sure of it." She gave his hand a light squeeze.
Dean chuckled slightly at her words. "So it's not entirely weird for you then. It is for me though, so let's change the subject, alright?" He took a long sip of his drink, finishing off what was in the glass before setting it back down. He watched as she moved not the bed and laid back. Her later words surprised him. Rather, the blunt nature of them did. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were making assumptions about me, Red."
