"You're amazing," Matt said, kissing her temple.

Mia nodded her head. "Well, you didn't have to leave me," she mumbled.

"I felt out of control," Brian stated. "With Xander I can give him back when he starts screaming. With Emily I could never do that without upsetting you." He knew women with kids were harder to be around because it was their child first which he didn't mind. Brian thought it should be that way. "I didn't want to stay and somehow manage to screw her up more."

Zack walked into the party, grinning when he saw Piper and his son. He was finally coming around to the idea of having a kid with her when something that made his heart break happen. "Da da," Xander babbled excitedly as he reached out for Matt.

Matt's eyes widened like saucers and he looked over at Piper. "Holy shit," he mumbled. "He . . . he just said dada."

Mia shook her head. "You've never dealt with kids before, Brian. I wouldn't expect you to be dad of the year," she said. "When I decided I wanted to take her in, I figured, you know, maybe we weren't technically together at that point, but it was something that we could learn to do together. And I needed you by my side, but you backed out on me. I had to do it alone."

"Because I saw a future with you," he snapped. "I saw everything for the first time and you deciding to adopt an abused child wasn't something I even thought was possible in our future so I panicked."

"This is why I'm never around," Zack mumbled loudly. He walked back inside Matt's house and sat down on his couch, beyond pissed and upset. Piper looked from Matt, her son and Emily, sighing softly because she knew she had to do damage control now. "Can you keep an eye on them," she asked. Xander kept focusing on Matt babbling dada over and over as he looked at the hazel eyes man in front of him.

Matt frowned, nodding his head as he watched her. He smiled down at Emily, who was totally amazed. She was clearly the youngest in her family and had never been exposed to another baby before.

Mia frowned. "Don't snap at me," she said. "I'm over it, Brian. My point is, I would support you on anything regardless, even if it terrified me. And the fact that you didn't support me on this really hurt. But I don't dwell on the past. It's up to you now if you still want to have a future with me. But I'm a package deal."

"I know that," Brian mumbled. "I've been miserable without you and I'd be willing to try to share my life with you and Emily if you'll let me."

Piper walked into the living room, shocked when she found Zack in tears. She sat down next to him and he glared at her. "My son fucking hates me and it's all his fault," he snapped. "If you had told me sooner maybe my son wouldn't be calling my best fucking friend his father." Piper opened her mouth to argue with him, shocked when she found his lips on hers before she could react. She shoved Zack away, ready to cuss him out when she saw the extremely pitiful look on his face. "If I was gonna have a kid it should have been with someone who wanted me back," he hissed. "We fucked because you were too drunk to say no." Piper slapped Zack across the face and began cussing him out before his lips pressed to hers again.

This time Piper didn't fight back and kissed him back, her nails lightly dug into his skin as she wrapped her arms around his neck, causing Zack to let out a groan of pleasure before he lightly bit down on her lip. Zack pulled Piper into his lap, both of them kissing each other as they began dry humping each other, unaware how the situation had even escalated so quickly.

Matt handed Xander to Lacey before he stood up and went inside to check on Piper. He knew when Zacky got angry, he could get a bit aggressive, so he wanted to make sure he wasn't being too mean to her. He was completely shocked at what he saw when he walked into the living room, frowning deeply as he crossed his arms over his chest and cleared his throat.

Mia smiled and leaned up, pecking his lips. "I missed you too," she said. "I don't expect you to be perfect with her. I'm still learning myself. It's hard when she wakes up in the middle of the night with nightmares or when she gets upset for no reason and won't talk to me. You have to be patient with her, she's so fragile. But I know you'll do well. You're a good man."

Brian nodded. He pecked Mia's lips again, wanting to try for her. "I promise I'll try."

Piper pulled away from Zack, still unsure how them yelling at each other to them making out. "I don't know how that happened," she mumbled. "First we were yelling at each other and then that happened." Zack glared at Piper, pissed at her statement. "I'm pissed because my own kid prefers my best friend to me! He might as well be Matt's at this point. He's already starting to call him his dad." Piper glared at Zack, pissed that he was still being an asshole. "Maybe if you actually attempted to interact with him more than once a week he'd be saying the same thing to you!"

Zack rolled his eyes and scoffed. "And when the fuck was that supposed to happen when you and Matt were playing house and hide the sausage all the time." Piper slapped Zack across the face and Zack shoved her away from him. "Fuck you Piper," he hissed. "You got all the good stuff out of this and I got shit. At this point you might as well tell everyone he's Matt's fucking kid."

Matt glared at Zacky, walking over and standing in front of Piper. "We weren't playing house, asshole," he hissed. "You barely showed up, so I did what I had to do in order to help her out. If you wanted to come over, all you had to fucking do was get in your car, but no. You decided to be a coward like you always do when you have to make a difficult decision." He shook his head. "You did this to yourself. Don't try to blame anybody else."

Mia nodded her head. She took his hand and led him over to where Emily was sitting. "Hi, Em," she murmured. "You remember my friend, Brian, right?"

Emily looked up and nodded her head. "Yeah," she murmured. "Hi."

"How have you been Emily," Brian asked.

"My son never liked me," Zack shouted. "He fucking cried and scream bloody murder the first time I held him but when you walked over and took him he stopped right away!" Piper frowned, knowing now why Zack had always been so timid about holding their son, he didn't want him to start crying again. Zacky let out a sob, not even aware he had started crying after what h had admitted. "My own son hates me," he sobbed. "Why am I supposed to be okay with dealing with that because I wanted to see him every single fucking day but not if he just screams like he's scared of me."

Matt was completely shocked when Zacky started crying. He had honestly only ever seen the other man cry a handful of times, and those were during extreme stress or tragic situations. "Babies do that, Zack," he said. "You have to give them a chance to get used to you. I bet if you spend more time with him, he'll start liking you."

"Good," Emily said. She smiled slightly. "Mia's really nice. She let me have my own room and everything."

Mia giggled softly, sitting next to her and gently wrapping her arm around her shoulders. "You deserve your own room," she said. "Every girl deserves to have her own privacy."

Brian smiled. "That's awesome. Did she let you paint it how you wanted too?"

Zack wiped his eyes and sniffled. "Are you sure he won't just scream and want you more?"

"He might, but that's something you'll have to deal with if you want him to get to know you," Matt said.

---

Emily nodded her head. "Yeah, it's pink," she said, grinning at the thought of her room.

Mia smiled at Brian. "Maybe he could come over for dinner sometime and see it?" she suggested. "How do you feel about that?"

Emily nodded her head vigorously. "Yeah!" she chirped.

Brian smiled, happy that Emily was cool with the idea of him coming over.

Piper went and grabbed Xander from Lacey, frowning when she saw Zacl tense when he saw their son. The redhead set Xander down in his father's arms, grinning when he starting babbling dada at Zack, practically squealing in excitement as he did.

Matt smiled. "See, Zee, not that bad," he said. "I'm not trying to steal him from you."

Mia smiled at Brian. She stood up, taking his hand. "If we're going to do this, I need to know," she said. "Am I your girlfriend?"

Brian nodded. "Yes you're my girlfriend."

"He's my little mini me," Zack commented.

Matt nodded his head. "He looks just like you," he said.

Mia grinned, leaning up and kissing his lips softly. "Good," she murmured.

"I love you Mia," Brian admitted.

Zack looked up at Piper, happy that she seemed to be happy.

Matt looked at Piper. "Can we talk?" he whispered into her ear.

---

Mia's eyes widened slightly. "Y-you do?" she mumbled.

Brian nodded. "Yes I do."

Piper nodded. She told Zack she was going to talk to Matt before she walked in Matt's bedroom with him.
