Lately I've Been Craving More

Sebastian looked over when Wendy cleared her throat, raising his eyebrows, "Yes?" He questioned, knowing what she was referring to. When she called him a brat, he pouted as she started to make sure there were more Oreos on the sundae, "You're so mean to me. You couldn't just let me have this one thing could you?" He teased and started to put the whipped cream on the sundae before drizzling chocolate syrup over it, "This sundae looks awful. I don't know how you just put everything on last." He said with a shake of his head.

"Nope." Wendy said, popping the 'p' on the word with a grin as she finished putting Oreos onto their sundae. She knew that she was being childish, but so was her boyfriend, and it all was in good fun anyway. This was really just how things were between her and Sebastian. It had been that way before they started dating, and nothing had changed since they became more than just friends. "If the sundae looks so awful, then you don't need to have any." She stuck her tongue out at him once more before taking the bowl of ice cream back outside onto the patio and taking a seat at the table.

Sebastian rolled his eyes at Wendy's words before he followed her out to the patio, "You know I'm not gonna turn down ice cream. Now give me a bite, woman." He stated with a laugh as he sat down next to her before he kissed her cheek lovingly, "Please." He added, making sure she knew he was joking about everything else, not that she didn't already know. That was just their relationship, and Sebastian honestly couldn't think of it being any other way than constant teasing and play fighting between the two.

Wendy shot a playful glare Sebastian's way when he told her to give him some of the ice cream. "Maybe I don't wanna share with you anymore. You were being mean to me before." She stuck her tongue out at him, though she couldn't help smiling when he pressed a kiss to her cheek. She knew that he was only joking with her, she never took the conversations they had like that seriously, they were always teasing and bickering with each other. She let out an exaggerated sigh. "Fine, I guess I can share with you." She gave him a spoonful of ice cream.

Sebastian grinned when she gave in and gave him a spoonful of the ice cream, "You know that's pretty good. You know what would have made it even better?" He asked, "If the creator of this sundae had layered the toppings instead of putting them all on last." He teased before sticking his finger in the whipped cream and then dabbing it on her nose with a grin, "Oh would you look at that. You've got some whipped cream on your nose, babe. I don't know how that possibly could have gotten there." He teased.

Wendy rolled her eyes playfully when he teased her again about how she'd made the sundae and she was about to eat another mouthful of ice cream when he stuck his finger in the whipped cream and dabbed it onto her nose. She gaped at him before sticking her hand in the whipped cream and swiping it across his cheek. Two could certainly play at that game. "Oops, my hand slipped. Sorry, babe." She said, feigning innocence before wiping the whipped cream off of her nose and eating another mouthful of ice cream.

Sebastian couldn't help but chuckle when she wiped whipped cream across his cheek before he swiped it off with his finger and ate it, "You'll pay for that." He replied, sending her a wink with a smirk. Sebastian opened his mouth for another spoonful of ice cream, "Ah." He said as he opened his mouth wider. He was almost like a child, and some days he wasn't half convinced he wasn't a child in an adult's body. Then there was how many times Wendy teased him about being a child. It was safe to say he was an man child.

"I'm shaking in my boots." Wendy teased lightly, letting out a laugh of her own. She rolled her eyes when he opened his mouth for another spoonful of ice cream. He was such a child sometimes, but she didn't mind it one bit. There was never a dull moment when Sebastian was around. "You're so needy tonight, oh my god." She laughed as she fed him another spoonful of ice cream before eating some more of it herself. "You're lucky I like you or else I wouldn't be sharing my ice cream with you at all. There are very few people that I will share my food with, especially when it's chocolate peanut butter ice cream."

Sebastian rolled his eyes at her words before shaking his head, "I'm damn lucky, I know that for sure." He replied. It was true, he was incredibly lucky. Sebastian knew that, "Thank you for sharing your ice cream with me, babe." He replied, a dramatic tone to his voice before opened his mouth again for another spoonful of ice cream. Sebastian was really looking forward to spending this time with Wendy and her family and getting to know them like he knew Wendy.

Wendy couldn't stop the smile from forming on her face at his words. Sebastian was sweet, but sometimes he said things that were even sweeter than she anticipated, and he completely caught her off guard. "You're the only person I wanna share my ice cream with." She told him before feeding him another spoonful of ice cream. She knew that if Annie and Chris were there, they'd be making fun of them for being so sappy, and make comments about how they had lost their appetite, but they weren't there right now, so it didn't matter.

Sebastian grinned widely, "Well I'm glad for that." Sebastian replied. He knew that if Chris or Annie or Mackie were there that they would be giving them shit about how lovey dovey they were being, but Sebastian didn't care. She made him happy and if this is what happy was like, he didn't want to change anything about it. Starting work on Civil War, Sebastian didn't that he would get anything else out of being on set, working, but then Wendy came along, and he felt like he could do anything. She was the best thing to ever happen to him, and he was so thankful that he met her and was able to become so close to her and eventually start a relationship with her.

"You should be." Wendy said before eating a spoonful of ice cream herself. "I shouldn't even be sharing my ice cream with you. You're not supposed to be having it, I'm so telling Don!" She teased lightly, knowing that, minus a few cheat days here and there, her boyfriend ate next to no junk food. She was quite the bad influence though, considering the fact that when he did eat junk food, it was when he was with her. She let out a quiet laugh and leaned her head against his shoulder. "I'm glad you're here, you know." She was glad he'd agreed to come home with her, and she was glad that they had the time off that they did right now.

Sebastian rolled his eyes at her threats, "Your threats mean nothing because I know you won't actually tell him, so ha!" Sebastian replied as he stuck his tongue out at Wendy before taking a scoop of her ice cream and eating it with a smirk on his face. When she spoke again, Sebastian grinned and leaned over to kiss her cheek, "I'm really glad you invited me, Babe." Sebastian replied with a grin. He really was glad she invited him. He was glad he had gotten to meet her family and have a good impression on them. He knew he was nervous at first, but once he had gotten past the first meeting, he was completely fine just like Wendy said he would be.

Wendy laughed at his words. "Keep on telling yourself that. Let's see who's right when Don kicks your ass next time you're home." She countered, mimicking his actions and sticking her tongue out at him. She smiled when he kissed her cheek. She really was glad that he was there with her. Not just because he'd helped her get through the flight, but because he was one of the first guys in a really long time that she'd wanted to introduce to her family. He was a good one and, even though they hadn't been together long at all, she was lucky to have someone like him to call hers. "See? I told you that you were worrying over nothing. Everyone loves you."

Sebastian shook his head at his girlfriend's words with a chuckle, "Whatever you say, babe. You have no proof to show Don." He stated. When she spoke again, he grinned and kissed her cheek once more, "I'm glad that everyone likes me. I think I was most worried about your dad and brother, but I think I had to work harder to get the approval of your niece and nephew." Sebastian joked. He was honestly very thankful that her father and brother seemed to be very accepting of him so soon. It made him feel really good.

"See? That wasn't so bad, was it?" Wendy asked as she pulled a pair of pajamas out of her bag. When she didn't receive a response, she glanced over to Sebastian, noticing that he appeared to be deep in thought. She could practically see the wheels turning in his head, though she had no idea what he was thinking about. She knew that he had this tendency of overthinking things though, she'd had to talk him down a couple of times in the months that they'd known each other simple because he'd been overthinking a situation. "Hey, space-case, is anybody there?" She teased lightly, reaching out to wave a hand in front of his face.

"So, tell me everything that I should know about your friends so I don't seem like a complete asshole when I meet them." Chris glanced over to Annie, a low chuckle rumbling in his chest. He knew that these people weren't just clients of Annie. She was friendly with both the bride and the groom, and he knew that she was looking forward to this whole thing, and had put a ton of time and thought into everything to make sure that everything on her end would be perfect. That was one thing he'd always loved about her, just how dedicated she was to her work. It was a quality of hers that he admired immensely, and he was so glad that she'd become as successful as she had over the years.

Annie laughed as she drove toward the ceremony destination. She had been up since early that morning so the two could leave and get there with enough time for Annie to do the first look pictures before the wedding ceremony, "So Sierra and Mark have been together since high school, but they've been on and off for the last couple of years. Mark actually was one of the first people that I met after I graduated from college and moved out of Boston." Annie explained, "He and Sierra were on their first break and he was all heartbroken, so I was a friend to him, and helped him get her back. Then I met Sierra and she and I became close friends instantly." Annie made a left and pulled into the parking lot of the park where the ceremony was taking place, "Mark is a huge nerd, so don't be shocked if he freaks out over you being at his wedding because he loves Marvel and though I'm pretty sure I've heard him talk about how Stark is his favorite in the MCU, I'm sure he still probably loves Captain America just as much." She said as she got out of the car, grabbing her camera bag from the backseat and looking over at Chris, "Sierra will probably try get information out of you about our past because I haven't told either of them much about you. If you meet Sierra's parents, her mom is more than likely going to pester you into dancing with her because she loves dancing and she loves dancing with handsome young guys." Annie said with a laugh, "And Mark has two nieces and two nephews. They're going to love you." Annie finished with a huff, "That was a lot at once. I'm sorry. Just be yourself, everyone is going to love you."

Sebastian wasn't listening as Wendy spoke. He knew she was speaking to him, but nothing was actually registering in his head. Their first day together at her parents' house was next to perfect, and her family really liked him, which was great for him, but it made him think more about how he felt about Wendy, and their possible future together. They hadn't been together very long, but Sebastian could feel himself wanting to tell Wendy that he was in love with her. It wasn't that hard to see, and Chris and Mackie had told him plenty of times that he was in love with her, but at the time he didn't want to admit it to himself. When Wendy waved her hand in front of his face, he snapped out of it, "What?" He asked, clearly not having heard what she had said. Sebastian sighed, "I'm sorry, babe. I'm just tired. I think I have a decent amount of jet lag, and I think it's hitting me harder than normal. I wasn't trying to ignore you." He quickly stated. He didn't like that he was essentially lying to her, but he knew that it was better for right now not to tell her why he hadn't been listening to her. He needed to get his own thoughts in order first before he would even tell her that he was in love with her.

Wendy shook her head with a laugh as it was clear Sebastian hadn't heard a word she said. She didn't think that he was ignoring her or anything, but it was clear that he was lost in his own head, and she had no idea why. "We flew from Georgia to New Jersey, you dork. Jet lag isn't a thing when there's no time difference." She teased before walking over and wrapping her arms loosely around his neck. She had a feeling that, whether he was tired or not, that wasn't why he seemed to be miles away from her, but she wasn't going to bug him too much about it. She figured he'd talk about whatever it was if he wanted to. He normally didn't keep much from her, if anything at all. She had this tendency to be the voice of reason for him, so she knew if something was really bothering him that it would come out eventually. "Have I told you how happy I am that you're here?" She asked curiously, a soft smile on her face as she looked up at him.

Chris listened as she gave him an overview on her friends. He laughed when she apologized for throwing so much at him at once. It was a lot, but he wasn't overwhelmed by it at all. Knowing more about the people he'd be seeing that day put his mind a bit more at ease honestly. His anxiety normally flared up when he was placed in situations that he wasn't used to, but knowing who he was going to be seeing that day took a lot of the pressure off of him. "Next time, remind me to ask for the cliff notes version instead." He joked, a grin on his face as he looked over at Annie. "I'm only kidding. It was a lot, I'm not going to lie and say that it wasn't, but I feel like I know more about some of the important people in your life. And I'm glad that you're giving me the opportunity to meet them. Plus, I'll get to see you doing what you love, and I haven't seen you behind a camera in a really long time."

Annie laughed and nodded at his words, "I know it was a lot. I didn't mean to throw all that at you at once. Just be yourself, everyone is going to love you." Annie said as they walked into the hotel where Mark and Sierra would be getting ready, "I hate to leave you by yourself when we just got here, but I have to go check on Sierra and do some of the getting ready pictures before the first look. Please don't hate me. I'll be back in no time I promise." She rambled before she hugged him quickly, pressing a quick kiss to his cheek as a thank you before she headed down the hall to Sierra's room. It didn't even register what she had done until she was inside the room and out of eyesight from him.

Sebastian frowned at her words before nodding, "You're right. I'm just a little out of it, I'm not sure why. I'm sorry, babe." He replied as he rested his hands on her waist as she wrapped her around his neck. When she spoke again, he smiled widely at her, "You have, but I'm more than willing to hear it again if you wanna keep telling me." He teased before he leaned over and pressed a soft kiss to her lips before pulling away and resting his forehead against hers, "I'm really happy that I'm here with you. I'm glad you asked me to come with." Sebastian stated. He really was happy he was there. He felt like she was sharing a part of her life with him despite the fact that they had only been together for a short time, and he really was grateful she was willing to share it with him.

"It's fine, if you want to talk about anything, I'm here." Wendy told him, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. She knew that he tended to overthink things sometimes, and if there was something bothering him, she hoped that he felt he could confide in her. She wouldn't push him to talk if he didn't want to though. A soft laugh escaped her lips at his later words, and she shook her head in response to them before kissing him back softly. "I'm glad that I did too." She said quietly, just standing there close to him for a few moments before she pulled back. "It's late, we should probably try getting some sleep. I'm dragging you all over town tomorrow." She grinned.

Chris chuckled softly in response to her words. "It's fine, it's useful information. I'm not going into this blind anymore." He told her. He was glad that she had told him what she had about her friends. He knew how much she'd been looking forward to this wedding, and getting to be there and work with her friends, and he was glad that she had asked him to come with her. He couldn't wait to see her doing her thing again. He'd always loved seeing her behind a camera, and he couldn't wait to see her behind one again. He hugged her back quickly, but was caught completely off guard when she pressed her lips to his cheek. He nodded at her words. "Alright, yeah. I'll see you soon." He watched her walk off, slightly dazed by what had just happened.
