Derrick looked down at Zoey and shrugged slightly. "Surprise me babe. I don't really care." He said and took out his phone. Derrick was generally quiet during lunch, Morris when Emily was there. So he played games or texted his friends while he ate, but he kept a free hand on Zoey's thigh, just because he was so possessive. Derrick knew their relationship wasn't perfect. In fact he didn't really know why they stayed, but he wouldn't argue. He had s girlfriend who loved him and gave him love despite the shit they both did to each other. Some says it confused him, some says he was grateful, and some he was pissed. She went with the flow and so did he.

Emily nodded slightly at the high five and sat down to eat. Her eyes glazed over zoey and Derrick and she rolled her eyes at him. She knew he was a piece of shit. She couldn't stand him, and if she could; she'd rip his throat out right there. But Zoey loved him so she had to put up with him. "What's going on this weekend?" She asked, directing it at Zoey, but she knew if she said it only to Zoey Derrick would freak out. She also would never direct him so she didn't make the question plural

Zoey smiled nodding and said, "Alright." She told him, figuring she'd make him something. She felt his hand on her thigh as she spoke to Emily and ran a hand throughout her bubblegum pink hair. She smiled at her boyfriend and blinked hearing Emily, "I don't really know, to be honest." She told her honestly and bit her lip. "Do either of you have any plans?" She asked trying to include Derrick in on the conversation but knew for a fact he didn't really like talking, but she didn't want to upset him.
